Nice views. Good coffee. Best egg sandwich in Aspen on sourdough toast. Never crowded.

Just like most places in Aspen, the food here is also criminally overpriced. Between the three of…read moreus, we got a cup of soup and 3 sandwiches. Split 3 ways and including tax/tip, the bill came out to nearly $40 per person. That being said, the banh mi I got was quite good - packed w/flavor from the kimchi and the sauce; though this is probably the first time i've had a banh mi without any cilantro... The thai coconut soup, though, was a bit of a let down. It had all the right flavors, but was in dire need of some acidity and sweetness. Without that, it was quite one-dimensional. Service was decent. We were seated outside so quite a lot of people around and so it often felt quite cramped. Overall, not bad but there's definitely better out there.

As for a sit-down meal, M&C is not in the forefront of my must come back to anymore. When informed that there'll be a long wait to their charming patio; I made the mistake this evening of taking a table inside for immediate seating. Very slow and unattentive was the service there. So disappointed also I was with my undercooked "rotisserie chicken" and the once beloved brown sugar butter sauce of theirs was sour. When asked if they had changed the recipe, our server replied "it depends on who made it" - really?!? I didn't leave this time with that warm and cozy feeling of being a guest at their place, instead now I was just another customer! cheers!

First of all tequila shots and doughnuts, yes please. These are some of the best doughnuts I've…read moreever had. If you are in the area, stop reading this and go get yourself these amazing doughnuts! They are absolutely delicious. My favorite was the maple bacon bar. I love a good maple doughnut. The blueberry fritter and strawberry glazed sprinkle were also scrumptious. The doughnuts themselves are soft and full of flavor. The staff here is so nice and friendly. I loved the chill cozy vibe of this location. I definitely recommend coming early, this place was pretty busy. The breakfast sandwiches also looked amazing. I can't wait to try them and try some more doughnuts! With all the options to pick from, you can definitely find something you're gonna love! Anytime I'm in the area, I will be stopping by!

First - these doughnuts are massive. We ordered four of various types and snacked on them for days, lol. They're also flakey, which surprised me. It's a different taste and not my favorite, but I'm a massive cake donut fan, so this is likely why. What I did love was their breakfast sandwiches. We ordered a few of these as well, along with OJ and milk. These guys were outstanding. This cake donut girl will return just for these! We stopped by on a Monday morning and the line moved quickly with staff taking orders at the counter and with us, in line. While they were super friendly, they kept us laughing but I did feel a bit rushed. To be fair though, there were so many flavors to choose from and none were labeled, so it took me a minute, hahaha. They were happy to wait but with lots of folks in line behind us, it was just me feeling pressured. Def look at the menu before going in, if it's your first time. We sat outside and enjoyed the sugar rush before setting out to start the weeks. Man, that sandwich was good. The coffee was amazing too.
