We are not out of the woods yet. Not by a long shot…read more Yes, Recovery Allies is expensive. You CANNOT afford not to use them if your loved one needs help. Recovery Allies is the best value we've used in our family's recovery journey. The staff works hard to communicate, assist & find the best treatment for each family. The staff uses the Arise model to improve dialog within families so that when your loved one is no longer requiring as high level of care, the families can discuss issues in a healthy fashion. Rachel's goal is to get us to a place where we don't need her anymore! Rachel stuck by us, & our "person of concern", as we navigated addiction treatment. We aren't out of the woods yet, but with Rachel, Chelsea, Ernest, Patrick & Katrina, we have found hope.

The intentional planning and care that went into the process of helping our family member was evident throughout the entire process. The revised method of 'intervention' that Rachel uses is so loving and so different from what that process has always meant for a struggling individual. I can't speak highly enough of this company, if you have a struggling family member I highly recommend recovery allies as a means of support and help.

I have discovered that Swedish does not handle the billing for emergency room Doctors, Physician Assistants, or Nurse Practitioners. The billing service is performed by an unrelated entity called "Seattle Emergency Physicians Services." PROBLEM: I have never received any billing statement or detailed invoice from you; please email both to me. I've already reached my out-of-pocket maximum for 2025, so I shouldn't be responsible for any medical costs related to my emergency room visit. HORRIBLE PATIENT EXPERIENCE Since I have never received any billing from your office, I do not have (1) a client number or (2) an account number when I tried to set up my profile and provide you with my medical insurance information. (See pasted copy of your website below) This is completely unacceptable. Why wasn't my personal and insurance information provided to your office by Swedish Medical? As a responsible person, I have spent countless hours trying to ensure all my medical bills are paid. Swedish Medical provided me with different phone numbers for "Seattle Emergency Physicians Services." I kept calling and was on hold for over an hour each time. I spent three hours at various Swedish Medical facilities (Broadway and Cherry Hill locations), but no one there could help me. I was told again to contact your office. Now, I am on the phone, waiting once more for someone to answer. Swedish Medical and Seattle Emergency Physicians Services should be ashamed! How could a disabled or elderly person navigate this extremely fragmented and poor-quality billing service?

Fecal matter left in care areas and tracked through with patient wheelchairs. Urine soaked towels left to marinate. Oh and let's not forget residents smoking methamphetamine in their rooms. Physical therapists operate solely on ego , The scheduler is too busy applying makeup or sleeping in her office to care .The reviews on here are all falsified by employees. Insulin needles were left in patient beds, PPE seems to be optional furthering the spread of illness. Anyone looking to keep their licensure and avoid jail time should avoid this place at all costs. Corruption stems from management and trickles down. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy and to say this is a skilled nursing facility is a joke.

(You have to go with a friend or, you need a doctor's permission. The door closes at 6 and no one can return to the facility when my neighbor returned at 9 pm) The cook needs to be fired. Immediately. The shear number of "casseroles" made it seem like she wasn't even trying, just throwing together what she had. I've been coming to Laura for a few months now and am extremely pleased with the progress that I've made on my journey to healing some deep wounds. I found their website and contacted Laura and was impressed with their seamless intake process and the ability to set up and get automated appointment reminders. They have been extremely flexible and have made it easy to adjust my appointments (which I had to do regularly because of the volatility of my job). They even offered remote sessions which I took advantage of when I traveled away from the Seattle area to work from a new location during COVID lock-downs. Communications with Anchor Light Therapy have always been pleasant, quick, and easy (e-mail, text, or phone). They have a beautiful space with comfortable furniture and a plethora of beverages options that makes it feel more like visiting a friend. Laura has provided caring, empathetic, and judgement-free insights into my problems (like the personal stumbling blocks that I put in my own way and negative self-talk) and helps me come to possible solutions (re-framing my perspective, accepting what cannot be changed, and recognizing why some parts of my life aren't affected but others are). After a session with Laura I look back and realize that my feelings are valid (no one should tell you what to feel - they are your feelings) and that helps me move past triggers with a little more grace each time I encounter them. BONUS: Anchor Light Therapy filed all the necessary paperwork to help me get back some money from the insurance company. I didn't have to do anything other than provide her with my insurance card. I started receiving checks in the mail because of their consistent upkeep with the paperwork filings for each session. I expected that I'd have to pay everything out of pocket and was prepared for that. Anchor Light Therapy truly is a blessing. I would highly recommend visiting Anchor Light Therapy and Laura. Thank you!

After searching through the first page of my "in network" providers, I quickly got tired at the prospect of sifting through 50 more pages. So, I did what any reasonable person would do when it comes to finding a doc...I closed my eyes, threw a dart and picked a name. On a serious note, Dr. Friedmann was voted best doc in 2002, so I figured like wine, you can only get better with age. I went in, he did his thing, and I walked out. Overall, a pretty painless experience (aside from the blood draw). He's a nice, warm, fuzzy guy. Two thumbs up.

Lucky me, I ended up getting an appointment with Dr. Friedmann. He took so much time and care to try to understand the issue I was having despite my inability to articulate it. He made sure to understand my overall health, activity levels, recent travels and all of the other outside factors that might be causing my pain. I have recently felt so rushed by all of the doctors I've seen but Dr. Friedmann made me feel like I was his only patient. While we never got to the root cause of my pain, he made sure to rule out any possibly dangerous causes and provided me with a prescription and treatment plans to try. Then the most amazing thing happened...I got an unsolicited phone call from him 2 days after my appointment to see how I was doing!!! I'm feeling much better now thanks to Dr. Friedmann. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in search of a smart, thoughtful and genuinely caring doctor.
