However, upon arrival I was informed that there was no such appointment and that the doctor wasn't even in. That nothing was sent to me about a cancellation was bad enough, but what truly made my blood boil was the offer to reschedule my appointment . . . FOUR MONTHS later! I declined. (What should have transpired: Offer an appointment within the next week, even if it meant staying open a bit later.) Fearing I had made a mistake with the date, when I got home I checked the report from my primary care physician (also with PMC, at the Lynnwood location), which listed future appointments. Sure enough, I had the correct date and time, and PMC had it down in its records. Browsing through the previous reviews here, I am apparently far from the only one who has experienced this sort of contempt for the client. My advice to anyone reading this: Look somewhere else for your health care.

Dr. Carkin has been my rheumatologist since her time at Minor & James (so many years) and changed my life. I shudder to think how I would manage my autoimmune disease without her. She truly deserves her Best in Seattle awards. Standing with her are all the staff and medical assistants who make my care there seamless. They called me once because I needed to reschedule a visit. I remembered to call back right after they closed. A day later, they called me again, just like that, saving me from my forgetfulness. The infusion center is also amazing and does some high level magic to get everyone scheduled, then moved around when things change. Everyone is nice, courteous and understanding of the issues that bring us to the clinic, so you don't have to explain, ask people to wear masks or anything else. In a world where chronic illness makes you feel abnormal, I feel normal and welcome at TSAC. I've seen several practitioners there and they are all equally good. Yes, you absolutely need another physician's referral to be seen there. TSAC has a great reputation and their services are in very high demand. I'm very grateful.

*** EXCELLENT CHIROPRACTOR *** Very Personable & Knowledgeable…read more Dr NJ is a very professional and thorough chiropractor. I absolutely loved my experience with Dr NJ...seriously wish he was still in Hawaii. Dr NJ's clinical knowledge is outstanding and he is also compassionate and caring. He is motivating in helping his patients achieve a level of wellness that focuses on quality of life. Dr NJ's adjustments definitely made an improvement. I had sciatica for years prior to seeing Dr NJ...and was seen by several other non-Gonstead chiropractors throughout the years, with no improvement to my sciatica. After a year of being in Dr NJ's care I had no sciatica. His manner is very reassuring and calming. I would highly recommend Dr NJ to anyone.

During…read morethat time, due to work (sitting at a desk in front of a computer all day) and stress I developed some significant back and neck problems. In short, I was a MESS. From day one Dr. NJ was very welcoming and friendly and immediately set me at ease (I am generally leery of doctors, having had bad experiences in the past). We jumped right in on day one and he did some in-depth analysis, through brief self-assessments, and conversations where I described my life; sleep, exercise, etc, overall health and work habits and we took some x-rays. By the second appointment he had done a through analysis and put up the x-ray up on screen in front of me to meticulously go over every detail and explain what he was seeing in terms I could understand, addressing my questions along the way. Turns out all that stiffness, limited mobility, and pain was real and we set on moving forward with the plan to get me out of the hole I was in. Each visit started with some basic back/neck warm up then moved into a series of adjustments. These weren't just the 'crack your back' kind of adjustments, but moving from one station to the next using a variety of tables, chairs, tools and techniques he deliberately began getting my whole neck and spin readjusted and aligned. During this process he also introduced new exercises I can easily do at home designed to go hand and hand with the adjustments. At every appointment I would come in with a new question, about my desk, my chair, my mattress, stretching exercises, all different questions about all kinds things and each time NJ listened and shared his deep knowledge. Together we would look at things like chairs or mattresses (we together looked at new pillows and mattresses toppers...a life changer). He is so helpful and so knowledgeable! I went from a lot of stiffness and pain, to better sleep and overall better quality of life in a just a few months. It really has a family feeling as his wife (Pronounced: Gwan) works the front desk. I tend to chat with both of them about the things in my life and theirs. Their office is clean, and orderly and in the Northgate area it is extremely easy to get to, and always ample parking! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Insight to anyone! If you have any back or neck issues or have had an accident, do your self a favor and get into see Dr. NJ! Michael

I'm grateful to have worked with Dr. Jesse McClelland, who diagnosed me with ADHD at 32. I was…read moreworried about getting dismissed due to being high-functioning and getting good grades in school and having an advanced degree. Dr. McClelland's expertise in ADHD is exceptional. He's knowledgeable about symptoms, coping mechanisms, and how various medications work at the neurotransmitter level. He will explain it all to you when he prescribes the meds. He also has an extensive intake process with tons of paperwork. It was quite overwhelming for me to complete and I took like 2 months of procrastination to do it, but I'm glad it exists. It definitely validates I have ADHD and that it's not a fluke. I did a lot of research on the Internet and I had read about others' struggles finding competent ADHD care so I felt lucky to have a doctor who was both thorough and open to prescribing the right medications. I was a tough case (like the 1% according to the literature he had sent me) and Dr. Mcclelland was patient enough to help me titrate over 15 combos of medications to find the best one with the least side effects. I ended up with a more obscure stimulant called Dyanavel. It still doesn't work super well and we would have continued trying more obscure medications. Unfortunately, I had to stop seeing him when I moved to California, where I'm struggling to find an equally knowledgeable and accessible ADHD specialist. Many psychiatrists charge $600 consultation fees and don't accept insurance. My only critique of Dr. McClelland is his office's telemedicine setup. He often runs late, and the website doesn't alert you when he's joined the virtual room. I had to stare at the screen to know when i can even request to join the meeting. As someone with ADHD, this setup is challenging. Once I missed an appointment by tabbing out while waiting. It caused me a lot of stress because I had to wait another 3 weeks to be seen again but thankfully, his office didn't charge me for the missed appointment. From then on, when the doctor was delayed, I would call the front office out of anxiety I would miss another appointment. I found out that they rarely picked up the phone! They mostly communicate through email which is okay but if you have an urgent matter you're out of luck. Overall, I whole heartedly recommend doctor McClelland. Just be aware you will have to deal with his idiosyncrasies and the customer service isn't the best.

I wanted to give this clinic a fair shot because the process sounded efficient, and I can see merit…read morein that, but I can't adequately express how wildly unprofessional and non-collaborative Dr. McClelland is. The clinic is upfront that appointments don't allow time for questions, and that absolutely proved true. Dr. McClelland talks for nearly the entire appointment, often about himself, with virtually no room for actual discussion or patient input. I had several unanswered questions at the end of both of my appointments. Within the first few minutes of my first appointment, he made a random and inappropriate comment about trans people. He also started talking about me having ADHD before we even discussed an evaluation. Despite repeatedly commenting on how he's "not just handing out diagnoses and meds," that did not reflect my experience. Nothing about this experience instilled trust or confidence in this provider or his process. I had asked the clinic if I could see a different provider because I didn't think this was a good fit, but I wouldn't have been able to receive my test results for another two months so I decided to keep my appointments w/ Dr. McClelland. He spent the first several minutes of our next appointment passionately explaining how he was in high demand and people wait months to see him and since clearly I didn't want to be there, they wouldn't be treating me. The entire appointment felt surreal, more like being reprimanded by an angry middle schooler than speaking with a healthcare professional. If you have the ability to seek care anywhere else, do.

He said yes it was the only way ,after consulting other drs I learned that this was 100% untrue. There were countless other ways he could have confirmed my condition. He was also apparently unaware that the extremely time sensitive medication he prescribed to me , was illegal to carry at ANY pharmacy within 100 miles of me (I was informed by a pharmacist at the 4th pharmacy I went to in attempts to obtain said medication) wasting several hours of my time and worsening the severity of my condition.
