Cold plunge & vitamin c showers
Alyssa M.

SweatHouz is a new staple for me! I had never done contrast therapy before and was so impressed with the luxurious ambiance of the studio. Private suites are equipped with an infrared sauna heated to 140* with customizable light colors, 52* cold plunge, tv that can be used for music on YouTube or live tv, and vitamin c showers. The staff member told me I would sleep well that night and she was right! Haven't slept this deeply in ages. I will be back soon!

Relax and rejuvenate. Swthz is a newer wellness concept that offers cold plunge, infrared saunas, vitamin enriched showers. The concept is pretty cool. I like that you get a room all to yourself and can oscillate between all the areas that are set aside just for you. You can watch tv while you there to keep your mind occupied or you can put on music and meditate, your choice. The facility is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. The vitamin C showers make your skin feel soooo good. Florida water is so hard on my skin and can cause eczema and these showers add the hydration and moisture back into my skin.this is definitely a nice addition for the wellness collective of Winter Garden. At least worth a trip to see for yourself.

As someone who's visited wellness studios across Central Florida, SweatHouz Winter Garden stands out as one of the most thoughtfully designed infrared sauna and cold‑plunge experiences in the area. The space is spotless, modern, and clearly built with recovery and relaxation in mind. My wife and I booked a session combining the infrared sauna with the cold plunge, and the contrast therapy was fantastic. The sauna heats evenly, the lighting is calming, and the plunge is crisp, clean, and exactly the shock your system needs in the best way. A couple of pro‑tips for first‑timers (and honestly, things I wish more people mentioned): * Call ahead to preheat your sauna. If you like your sessions at a true 170°, make sure to request it before you arrive. The rooms don't always hit that temperature on their own by the time your appointment starts, and the staff is happy to prep it if you give them a heads‑up. * Regular suites are tight for two people. We originally planned to use the couple's suite, but it was down during our visit. The standard room works, but it's definitely more comfortable for a solo session. Couples should absolutely book the dedicated suite when it's available. Even with those small hiccups, the overall experience was excellent. The staff is friendly, the amenities feel premium, and the recovery benefits are real. SweatHouz Winter Garden is absolutely worth adding to your wellness rotation--just plan ahead to get the most out of your session.

Really cool new addition to Hamlin.. no pun intended. This place is super unique. It's a bunch of private "suites" with their own sauna, cold plunge, and vitamin C showers. The facility seemed very clean and everything was very modern. They offer an introduction offer for your first visit ($25 for 1 hour). We really enjoyed our visit although the cold plunge is truly unbearable and I don't know how people do it but that's just a me thing! Only deducted 1 star due to membership pricing.

I decided to try this place out. I've never done a cold plunge, so this was my goal. I really like that you have your own private suite because it gave me the freedom to try at my own pace. There are the sauna, ice plunge, Vitamin C shower, place for your clothes and items, and a tv in the suite. You can also connect to the tv and there are some Spotify playlists to use for the plunge to "pump you up". The experience was great. The service was, too. When I got there, I got checked in and was given a quick tour. There were different water options to drink in the front and cold towels for the sauna. I'd recommend this place.

Fabulous facility that's super clean and well maintained. Upon arrival, the staff member offere a chilled bottle of water and a cold towel to bring into the sauna with me. She gave me a full tour and described how to get the most out of my visit. The restroom was ultra clean and fully stocked. I love heat, so the 140 degree sauna felt wonderful to me. There are optional settings inside the sauna, change the mood lighting, watch tv, listen to music, read, etc. Get comfortable! The private suite is quite quiet, so you can enjoy some "me time", which I thoroughly enjoyed. I only wish the sauna was long enough to lay outstretched in. The cold plunge tub had 55 degree water with jets. While I did try the plunge, I only lasted a few seconds. Cold water feels like sheer torture to me. I hate it. I have never felt refreshed after experiencing cold, but to each their own! The shower has a vitamin c filter. Does this actually provide any health benefits? I can't imagine, but the shower was clean and equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. Clean towels are also provided. After leaving the private suite, there is a "beauty bar" common area consisting of two desks with mirrors. A Dyson hair drier with accessories is available but I brought my own.

I called up and booked a 45 minute Halo Therapy session and enjoyed the comfy seats while clearing out my lungs and all the toxins. It's always good to clear the toxins while traveling especially after a flight. This was the perfect solution and I felt amazing after my session! This location is just outside Downtown Orlando. It's very clean and the staff are very friendly. They offer memberships and package deals. If I lived here you know I would be there all the time! They also have massages, infrared sauna's and more. After a very stressful & busy event season, I finally treated myself to some self-care. I asked Dori to focus on my neck and shoulders, and especially my lower occipital area where I carry a lot of tension. Wow, it was amazing. The firm pressure was perfect and she really got in there and worked out those knots. I felt so much better afterwards. The salt air circulates through the massage therapy rooms, which is great for your respiratory and nervous systems. The facility itself is super clean and welcoming. They serve coffee & tea in the lobby area. They also have a salt room specifically for kids where they can play with toys or read books. I really want to bring my son back here soon to try that with him.

What I love about this YMCA location is that there is ample equipment and I am able to get a productive workout complete. So far all machines that I have used are in great working condition. Other members too are able to get their workout done with ease unlike other locations where people are on their phone, taking up the machines and not actually using them efficiently. I have gone early morning around 7 AM and I have also gone in the evenings around 7/8 PM. I have not taken any classes yet, but will soon explore some. My only one complaint is that I have unable to use the sauna due to it being out of order. Hopefully, they're able to repair it soon. I have also heard and read in other reviews that it is frequently being repaired. Hopefully that gets resolved soon.

First, I do want to say the staff were absolutely lovely. We arrived before everything was already set up, and they let my two young children help with scattering some of the eggs beforehand, which was a really kind and memorable touch. They were also great about sharing information on other programs, including a YMCA date night service where parents can drop off their kids while they enjoy dinner and a movie, which honestly sounds like something we might try in the future. The setup itself was a classic "scatter and go" format, with plastic eggs spread across a field and kids released at the same time. While exciting, it always makes things pretty chaotic, and our two-year-old ended up with candy like hard Jolly Ranchers and gum, which aren't really appropriate for toddlers and felt like a bit of a miss given the age range advertised for the section we were told to participate in. For future events, it would be great if the eggs in the under-3 section were filled only with toddler-appropriate items to help avoid potential choking hazards and make the experience more enjoyable, and less stressful, for parents of little ones. The bigger issue, though, was the "golden egg" system. The idea is great, special eggs with prizes inside, but in practice it created some awkward dynamics. We saw families staking out golden eggs ahead of time, including one instance where a parent encouraged their child to literally sit with their hand on an egg before the event started. I'm not here to judge anyone, but it did take away from the fairness and fun of the hunt. A simple fix would be to go more "Willy Wonka" style next time, hide the golden prize as a surprise inside regular eggs rather than making them visible targets. That would keep the excitement while making things feel a lot more equitable for all kids. Overall, a fun event with great staff and good energy, but a few thoughtful tweaks could make it much more enjoyable and inclusive for everyone.
