There is a good selection and usually a nice small sale section. Pricing is above average, but reasonable for this type of store. The quality is good and something you can count on. There are definitely some pieces I can't justify spending the money on within my budget. However, I appreciate that there is a wide range of price points. What I love about J Roberts: -It's across the street from Francesca's (my other go-to store). -They have a constantly changing inventory. -Their sales rack has consistently good deals. -The inventory is one of a kind. -Their social media presence helps me to know if I want to swing by on that particular day based on rent posts about inventory. -They cater to Texas Tech game day apparel during that season. -They have trendy and timeless pieces. -They offer lots of styling ideas within the store on everything from clothing to accessories. -The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They always set up a room for me before I'm even done picking out items. -They sometimes serve mimosas during special sales or holidays. Are you convinced yet? Go check it out!

I brought it in to exchange and the owner was incredibly rude to me. I had found the same board on the shelf, but it also had an issue with the glue not being secure and the board wiggling. I was hoping to get a price match on a different board due to the inconvience, but the owner instead scolded me, told me she has sold a million of these with no issue, and insisted I took it. Here is the glue obviously splitting, sure to break soon. (Taken right after the encounter) | will not be coming back to KK's due to the disrespect I was treated with. I hope their customer service improves.

It's a eclectic mixture of antiques, modern handmade items (like bowties, children's toys, jewelry, goat's milk soap, and beard supplies), and items that are repurposed antiques with a fresh spin (we saw a bed lamp made from vintage siren - very cool!). If you're in downtown Lubbock, this is definitely a place to stop by! Found The Sewing Studio and ordered a yard of the fabric. I called the store on Monday morning to see if I could pay to have the fabric sent overnight so that I could get the quilt top completed. They sent it to me overnight and didn't charge me extra. I live in California and won't have the pleasure of visiting their shop but will definitely purchase more fabric on line, without the extra shipping requests.
