I had a nightmare. I let my windshield wiper slap down (rubber to glass!) and it broke my windshield which immediately created 4 long cracks that could never be patched. My deductible is $1000. I started pricing and found most people were $700, around there. Then I found several in Phoenix and one or two others in Tucson that were around $500 or so. Then I got a bid from Carlos at Swat Autoglass. $425, including calibration! They came out on the same day I called and Mark did a perfect install. I would not recommend. My windshield was replaced in Feb 2024. It's not sealed correctly, so I've been calling for someone to fix my windshield. I've spoken to Carlos twice always saying he'll send someone out here we are in Jul 2024 and still not repaired. I leave messages, no call back. This company was good years ago but with this experience, I would not recommend. Carlos does not stand behind the work. They do not even deserve a star: Swat Auto Glass installed a back window on my Truck (see pictures). The install is the worst install EVER....I called to talk to someone about this as I just wanted it fixed or looking better, Bruce answers the phone I went to explain to him that it looks so bad that there are big 1 inch gaps between the frame and window (top and bottom), that the tint was just awful the way its cut and bubbled up all over, I told him there are uneven and chopped up cuts throughout the whole window, and the glue looks so bad and bulging out in places, and there is a gap in the slider window that leaks. He then stated before even looking or having someone look at the install, that there are not cuts because they don't cut anything. He kept arguing with me repeatedly when all I wanted was for someone to come look at this horrible job and just fix it, that's all. He then told me that "just because you are a customer doesn't mean that you are better than anyone else". I contacted my Insurance Company and let them know what Bruce had done. We contacted Links Services and informed them on what I am experiencing. This company is not on a preferred insurance glass company and I can see why now. Look I just wanted this fixed and done better then what it is. I have attached pictures of this job. The middle slider window leaks As for the window tint I have already spoken to 2 professional window tint companies, they explained that the tint was not installed properly to begin with, the bubbling was there from he get go, it didn't happen over time or due to heat (Bruce stated that the bubble are from heat, again he has not even looked at the window) You can clearly see that this install is a horrible install. I have already spoken to other Glass shops as well and have documentation from them on how this install was not done correctly and the correct tools were not even used to install the glass. This company is awful and Bruce is a liar, as well as this company lies on their website, it states: LIFETIME WARRANTY We offer the nation's and industry's BEST auto glass warranty! You can rest assured that your install is fully backed and covered by our shop and we guarantee you will be completely satisfied. I have not been satisfied at all with this install and the warranty covers leaks and they will not uphold to what they state on their website and paperwork. Bruce is so rude argues and treats people very poorly, awful business ethics. One of the worst business I have ever dealt with. They will not uphold to their warranties and just bad business. PLEASE use a glass company that is on your insurance preferred list at least you would know that your insurance will back you up and uphold to satisfied customers and warranties. Had my windshield replaced with SWAT through insurance in the past which went well. I liked the quality of the glass and the technicians went straight to work. With my previous experience in 2020, I had Allstate and SWAT Auto Glass took care of everything from insurance, tinting and setting an appointment with Honda to recalibrate the camera for the Honda Sensing, all paid for by SWAT with my insurance claim. Can't forget I received the $100 + 2 night hotel. This time around, I had switched to GEICO and received a different experience. A claim was filed and the work order was sent to SWAT. They were able to make the appointment fairly quickly and again, the service technicians were on time and went straight to work. The issue I'm experience now is more office related. Same vehicle but different ways of servicing. I had a sun strip on my window which the service technician advised they weren't able to have it installed prior to installation due to the tint guy being out of office, which I had no complaints. Figured I can call the office and have it rescheduled another day upon the tint guys arrival. When i called the office for SWAT, they advised I have to reach out to a separate business to install the front windshield sun strip since this was being completed after the installation. They agreed to pay the other party a maximum of $30 via credit card however I shall be responsible for the remaining although this should be covered by the insurance claim, right? To add, since the tint business I went with needed a physical card, I still ended up paying out of pocket for the full amount and SWAT auto glass will allegedly send in a check payment through mail. Another issue I came across was the camera recalibration. This time around, I had to set an appointment with Honda myself and will have to pay out of pocket then submit a reimbursement request through my insurance, when in hindsight, the last recalibration service was paid for by SWAT which I am under the impression they billed the insurance for. Although it was the same car but different insurances, their process has completely changed from when I originally had a windshield replacement in 2020. It seems as this time around, they made me, the customer, responsible for getting everything done to satisfaction. Not sure if this is cause in-office wanted to skip a few steps or if this is due to how they handle customers based off of their insurance. In addition , they are currently NOT running the $100 cash + Hotel promotion which in my opinion is a great way to market to new and returning customer, so it's best to ask if the promotion is still active if this is what's selling you on having work completed by SWAT. I'd still recommend but most likely will look at their competitors in the next event. Best to ask all your questions with your service representative. read more

I recently got my windshield, and drivers side door replaced this pass weekend after some vandalism in my apartment complex. After some back and forth with my insurance and SWAT I was able to set up an appointment. Leo who came to repair my windows was great although I felt really bad for him as Bruce the representative who set up the appointment had not advised on the address change. I found them on google and the day of the repair they came up on my Facebook with a promotion that said with any windshield repair covered by insurance you would get $100 cash and a 2 night stay hotel voucher. I called today since they were closed on the weekend because I did get that at the time of my repair and Bruce tells me I don't get it because I didn't mention it. It doesn't say anywhere on the promotion that I have to mention it at all. Don't put a promotion out there and then tell someone she doesn't qualify because I didn't say anything. Bad way to do business and although Leo was great I won't be using SWAT glass again. Samatha- no where on Facebook or your promotion does it say it was inclusive to Facebook. I didn't say I found you on yelp like Bruce is probably telling you. I however checked your reviews on yelp to make sure I wanted to with you after your ad popped up on my Facebook. Therefore I didn't find you on yelp unfortunately I went by the reviews on here and next time I will make sure to throughly research before I chose a company that makes up their own rules when a customer got not one but two windows replaced by you. Be transparent when putting those promotions out there if it doesn't say we have to mention than that is on you as a company to fix but by your response I can tell you are company that blames the customer for missing out on promotions. read more

I have been using ClearView Auto glass for years and recently tried SWAT Glass. I was a little worried that it was not Local or Legitimate, however, they certainly are Both. The windshield was completed and the Rebate Paid in a timely manner. I have 6 vehicles and will be using SWAT glass again. read more

Terrible work! Had window replaced and it whistled down the interstate guy that did the install came back 4 times to fix and just smeared caulk all around the window! windshield wiper also somehow ended up unable to lay in proper position !! Guy said since each time he caulked and it wasnt sealing it that he would bring a window and pull the one he put in and reinstall but each time he was supossed to come do that not a word from him!! I received service from this company a little over a month ago. I was referred by a family member who had a friend use this company every year and they got the same promo $100. And 2 free nights. I was shocked that I would need another Windshield so soon but a rock on the freeway hit right below my drivers side wiper and it already made a long crack. I received the $100. Last month and got the email for the hotel room. So I immediately called them to have them service my windshield. ( The website does NOT say there is a limit or 1st time customer or that you need to mention the promo) just that if you have your Windshield replaced that is the offer. Once the service was completed the driver told me I am not eligible for the offer. I called the office and he said no that is for first time customers only. He said all promotions have to be mentioned at the time of appointment and I am not eligible for anything. Both times I had to contact my insurance company and change who I wanted my work done by and I explained to them my first appointment what kind of windshield I needed. I made sure they got my business but they are doing nothing to make sure I continue to choose them. The windshield installer had great communication and was professional. He was quick installing my windshield and reminded me how to take care of my car after the installation. The person on the phone has always been short with me every time I had to contact him both incidents. He also gives the attitude that he doesn't Want or Care if he gets my business. My 1st install he even told me to use my original company listed even though I contacted the insurance changed companies and got the approval for my special windshield. He told me I would Never be eligible for any offers because I would never be a new customer again. And he couldn't believe I was asking for any offer. They should say on the website that all of their offers are only for first time customers. They definitely need someone else answering the phone to answer questions and making appointments or they will lose alot of business. read more

First off i would give 0 stars if i could they dont even deserve the 1. Save your self the time, these people are a joke. Leo will damage you vechicle, then Bruce will give you the run around to have it repaired. Water is STILL leaking into my car and causing water damge to my headliner and lights. They also never replaced the factory trim piece around my windshield. They've been out many times to "fix the problem" but it still leaks. The only solution they offered was to send out the same technician that damaged my car orinally back out to try and repair it again. I'm in Phoenix, Az , after some Loser shot the Back window out of my car for Christmas i went on Craigslist and decided to go with a place called Swat Auto Glass, on" January 23rd 2021" I talked to a man that goes by the name Bruce, I told Bruce i needed a Back Glass for my Lincoln Town car, i wanted to make sure he knew that the window molding also needed to be replaced because the way they are adheased together, & I was clearly told that the molding & everything else that was needed was included in the price, to the tune of $334,51 to be exact, the installer did come to supposedly do the job but said he didn't have the molding, I told him I was told the molding would be included along with whatever else was needed to install this window, it was clear I was lied to by "Bruce". So with my glass & the job paid for in full the installer drive off with my glass on his truck, I called Swat Auto Glass back & asked why the installer didn't come with the molding needed for the Glass install, Bruce said because the price he quoted me was to install the Glass using FLEX molding which is cheap universal molding, the installer described this universal molding as junk, when I called Bruce back he got very rude with me & told me to SHUT UP Several times getting me all worked up, then told me he Will Not refund my money & if I want the molding it would cost me an additional $143,00 , I'm 58 years old now, I'm raising my 2 Grandchildren & was ripped off by a man that called himself Bruce but with a reputation like this who can be sure of what his real name is, to anyone Reading this, I Would Not deal with this place that goes by the name SWAT Auto Glass or www.SwatAutoGlass.com if you do there's a good chance you'll be ripped off like I was, In fact Odds are this so called company more than likely goes by other names as well, this is a common practice, so Just beware. read more

these incompetent folks were specifically told my VIN number and that I had GPS option on my car but did not pay for the upgrade when I bought it within the last year. They stated there were two different windshields. I stated they do this stuff all day everyday and should probably bring both to be sure but I was about 100% sure it was the GPS windshield. The text showed up rude and in a quandary wondering what this module was on my windshield. I told him he does this stuff all day everyday not me and he needed to figure it out. They were supposed to call before they came over the tech and the email but did not and woke me up. I am a night sleeper in that did not sweeten the deal. The tech then rudely stomped off gotten his van and left oh, no hundred dollars, no 2 night vacation and no communication whatsoever. I had to call the main themain office just to get circular logic and more rude talk that this was my fault and not theirs. Furthermore that they were not willing to do what they needed to do to get the windshield accomplished in the middle of a day on a Saturday and I would have to wait until the next week 4 days later as Monday was a holiday. I thought they could throw in a little something extra or maybe just offer me to keep the $300 for the inconvenience and allow me to go to another shop as I really have no desire to deal with these fools. The gentleman explain he was the general manager of 10 years with six different companies and SWAT was barely making it and they couldn't afford to do this.
