We built a new house, and needed several things done after moving in. We contacted multiple companies looking for service in a reasonable time period, at a reasonable price, and had many issues with companies that just wouldn't call us back, or couldn't provide service for months, or their estimates were way off the charts. Jason provided an estimate for hanging 2 ceiling fans with lights, mounting a TV above our fireplace, and changing 2 standard light switches for 2 z-wave light switches that can be controlled with phones. The estimate was reasonable, and Jason's availability was faster than anyone else. Plus he actually responded in a timely manner and kept the communication open...which seems to be rare these days. Jason arrived on time, was very courteous and clean, and did excellent work. To top it off, the final bill from Jason was LESS than his original estimate, as he determined that the work didn't warrant as much cost as his original estimate. He easily could have just charged us what the estimate was, and we wouldn't have known any different, but he was honest and fair. Fast, efficient, does excellent work! We have an unfinished basement and needed to pull more amps down there, as well as have two dedicated circuits added. Jason Swan was able to help us determine exactly what needed to go in, and where (including anticipating the needs for when we finish the basement). If you've got a problem with price think about it this way: How would this project turn out if I had done it myself, and how long would it have taken me? And now, put a price on your time. It was worth every penny to have these fixtures installed correctly. In fact, perfectly! Jason and Matt both did an excellent job for me. Paying the bill is only a token of my gratitude. Normally, I am very comfortable installing a light fixture. However, both fixtures Swan installed had elements which made me want to avoid a DIY fiasco. A smart person knows their limitations. For years we have lived with an issue with our outside outlets. In particular, when it rained they would short out. After multiple electricians tried to troubleshoot and fix the issue, we gave up. Fortunately we hired Jason to do some wiring in our garage. I happened to mention the issue with the outlets and he immediately told me what the root cause and how he would fix it. Two of my recessed ceiling light fixtures kept burning out the bulbs hours after I replaced the bulbs with new ones. Jason responded to my VM very quickly and came to repair my recessed light fixtures in my kitchen within a couple of days. He couldn't find a problem and didn't charge me a full fee. However, whatever he did fixed the problem and all is good. He gave me a link for a specific LED flood light bulb to use if I continued to have trouble. I needed help with my Ring doorbell install because the doorbell chime I currently had was not compatible. The 1940's home we purchased needed a good amount of the electrical brought up to current code. Jason did a fantastic job bringing it up to code and repairing some of the current electrical that was not finished properly.
