I'm only giving them three stars because they did have some unique items inside. We did encounter two problems during our visit. The first was simply getting into the shop. There aren't any regular steps into the shop entrance. They have two unusually shaped stones stacked upon each other without any handrails to hold on as you step up into the shop. My wife has some physical restrictions and I had to hold her hand just to get her into the shop safely. I can't imagine how difficult to enter if there was ice. The second problem was that in the time we browsed through the shop, not one person appeared from the front of the building (maybe they live there?) We could see people through an open door but I felt uncomfortable walking through. So, nobody on duty to answer questions or help make a purchase. No bell to ring, or sign to welcome visitors back to the other part of the building. I honestly have no idea if they knew we were there. You will also notice that there is a strong smell of a home where smoking once was prevalent. I imagine that if you bought some wood or fabric items, you would have to leave them out to get rid of the odor. In fairness, I did see a number of unique items and the shop itself was easy to get around. The upstairs was closed off, so I don't know if there is anything up there worth viewing. Note: I also didn't see much lighting materials as is listed in the Yelp business name. There were a few fixtures and shades, but not so much that I would add it to the name. Overall, I was a bit disappointed in the lack of attention the owners/managers put into improving the customer experience. First off the sized our furnace too big for our home. They sold us a unit to cool and heat 3000sq feet, and our home is half that size. September was when I started ill with headaches and respiratory issues. I needed a lung biopsy. Biopsy showed no bacterial of fungal infection. Doctor said it was air contaminates causing my breathing problems. That was October. Christmas rolls around and I'm still ill. April we call someone to look at our water heater he informed me their is a gas leak in the basement coming from he HVAC system. I called Mister Quick immediately, Nick informed me that when the HVAC system was installed it was installed improperly. It was leaking gas in 4 different locations from the gas pipe to the furnace. He spent 3 hours repairing the installers mess ups. I immediately started feeling better. The facial swelling and headache went away. 9 days free from a gas leak in my home and I'm feeling much better. My husband said our home could have blown up and that's also what the gas company told me when I reported Mister Quick. I live in Brown County and from now on when we get anything new added to our home we are going with a local company that has our best interest in mind.

As they did the remediation, they explained things step by step, and even though it was miserably hot I never heard one complaint. Between the heat and the old part of the crawlspace the job took longer than anticipated, but they never cut corners or rushed to get done - in fact, they had to come back the next day to finish because they wanted to make sure it was done properly. About two hours later, CJ called to let me know there was a screw lodged in the tire and it wasn't repairable. She gave me a very reasonable quote for a replacement, and by around 3 p.m., my car was ready for pickup. Fermin helped me check out quickly and efficiently. Both Fermin and CJ were empathetic, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. The service was done in a timely manner, and their communication throughout the process was excellent. I did not have a good experience with these guys. They quoted me to install a 120VAC circuit and…read moredisconnect switch to a minisplit, and add 2 additional 120VAC circuits. All was fine with the quote. The two "electricians" who showed up to provide the service looked to not even be 21. It was wet and muddy outside, and they didn't lay down any plastic or use booties. I had multiple rugs ruined because of this. On top of that, they installed a 240VAC circuit instead of 120VAC. They also did not add the additional circuits the first time around. After reaching out, they agreed to come make it "right". Which means to do the work they quoted in the first place. Well, I'll be honest, I'm not an electrician, but I work with low voltage electrical, so I have some basic knowledge on NFPA 70 AKA The National Electric Code. While you technically are allowed to use type NM-B wire in a plenum or raceway, it IS NOT allowed in damp or wet areas, which outdoors would be considered. These "electricians" don't seem to know simplex electrical codes. You use THHN in a raceway for wet or damp environments, NOT NM-B! The cherry on top is that the PVC they used doesn't even penetrate my house. They didn't use a stub(short section of pipe going from 1 side a wall to the other, to protect the wire from any hazards inside of the wall.) They used an elbow that just touches the outside of my brick wall, doesn't even fit into the hole they drilled where they're running plain NM-B from my crawlspace to the outside. You absolutely will NOT save money with this company. Pay more and have a higher quality contractor provide your electrical services. Buy one cry once. I'm having to buy twice because of their incompetence.

The service technician showed up right on time. I showed him what needed to be done (outdoor 120V panel removed and replaced with 240V service panel for the hot tub) and I got a firm upfront price (parts and labor) straight out of his service binder. No surprises. Since he was already here, I showed him another minor job I had been putting off (replacing the security light high ankle my garage). Again he gave me a firm price (labor only) or if his binder. I would supply the security light myself. So while he ran to the store to get the parts to replace the 120V panel, zi went to Lowe's to pick out and purchase the security light I wanted (motion-activated). When I returned home 30 minutes later, he was already working on the panel outside. I gave him the security light and he was done with everything in about 20 minutes. I would definitely use Copper Ridge again for my electrical or plumbing needs.
