1-Star Review for Payless Cleaners Unacceptable Experience -…read moreDamaged Custom Garment and Quiet Payout I brought a pair of custom-made designer pants to Payless Cleaners for standard cleaning and pressing. The pants were in excellent condition when dropped off, and cost me $165 when originally purchased. They were tailored specifically to fit me and held personal and professional value. Unfortunately, after picking them up, I discovered that the waistband had been severely stretched, rendering the pants completely unwearable. When I returned to the cleaners to report the damage, the employee (Linh) acknowledged the issue, measured my waist, and promised a repair. days later, instead of fixing the pants, I received a private message offering reimbursement and asking to keep the matter "between us." While I was eventually refunded, the situation was handled quietly, with no apology, no transparency, and no accountability for damaging a garment that could not be replaced. The bottom line: Payless Cleaners ruined my pants, failed to repair them, and only issued reimbursement after I insisted--and documented everything. If you value your clothing, especially high-quality or custom garments, please think twice before trusting this business. What happened to me should not happen to anyone else.

I took five dresses...one 2pc. suit and one summer jacket to them and was charged 44 dollars and change. They claimed the one dress cost me 15.00 because of the circular skirt. I asked that the two piece suit be pressed only and was still charged 2.49 a piece. I was charged 5.00 per piece for the remaining four dresses. When I got the 15.00 dress home I saw that the hemline had not even been pressed! I had to repress it myself. When I called at 9:15 am to say something about this there was nobody there that spoke English well enough to even understand what I was trying to tell them. This clip joint is not to be confused with the Payless Cleaners in Allentown on Lehigh St. They do a beautiful job and actually charge 2.49 per garment no matter what it is. I was so happy to see a Payless Cleaners in Quakertown as I thought I could save myself the trip to Allentown. WRONG!! I will be going back to Allentown. Save yourself a headache....don't patronize the PAYLESS CLEANERS in Quakertown, Pa.

The one groomsmen didn't get shoes, was told they weren't included, the father of the brides shirt was stained when I commented that we had to run back up morning of the wedding and get a pair of shoes so that they all matched for the pictures and that the father of the bride had to go out and buy a new shirt. The owner said sorry for the inconvenience, they should have checked the shirt before they left- shouldn't the staff be checking their items before handing them out and if something is stained shouldn't they be getting rid of it? for over $200 per suit I would expect a little better Service and a better quality of tuxedos.

When I dropped it off, I tried on the pants and they pinned them to where I wanted. When I picked them up, I asked if I could try them on. They were perfectly done. I didn't ask how much it would cost when I dropped off the pants, but it was reasonably priced. It was definitely worth it to me.

I am very sorry to report that working with Dashing Valet turned out to be terrible. I tried…read moreseveral attempts and I experienced the worst customer service, unfortunately. Noteworthy points to mention: Overcharged by 50% on two items (prices on website are either inaccurate or the company overcharges in hopes of customers not noticing), very slow turnaround time, extremely poor customer service, bad communication from management, missing items. I was really disappointed as I was hoping to find a service that I could use regularly. However, I will not only never use the service again, but I will also never recommend this company to anyone. I should note that this is the first time that I have ever written an online review, but I really wanted to share my experience in hopes of helping another person avoid the problems I had. If you like headaches, then go ahead and use this company. Otherwise, please avoid.
