They are expensive when compared to the average pistols/rifles you find in the market place but they are worth every dime. The FN-FAL is, in my opinion, the greatest battle rifle ever made as was referred to as the " right arm of the free world." It was carried by almost every western nation at one time or the other. During the Falkland Islands campaign between the British and Argentinians, both sides were armed with the FAL. Currently, the M240 and M249 SAW, as well as variants, both serve in the United States military. I collect FN rifles/pistols and they are my very favorite on the planet. The FNX-45 Tactical is the best hammer fired 45 I've ever owned. It suppresses perfectly and never jams. Even when firing cheap Russian steel ammunition. The FN PS90 is one of the premier self defense pistol caliber carbines in the world. It fires the 5.7 cartridge that was invented, mastered and fielded by FN. The PS90 is used by the US Secret Service and other such agencies. I cruise local gun shows always keeping an eye open for people that don't know what they have in an FN rifle/pistol. If you're looking for quality and longevity, FN is for you.
