I just want to give a quick shoutout to this store! Me and my sisters went there about 2 weeks ago to get permanent bracelets which we absolutely LOVE. The service was amazing and the quality that you get is incredible. I also purchased a necklace that unfortunately broke within a few hours and I couldn't drive back because I was from out of town and flying back to Boston the next day. I called the store and April ( who was wonderful) helped me. She shipped me a brand new one to Boston and no extra charge. I'm wearing the necklace now and I'm absolutely in love. My sister and I had made an appointment to get matching permanent jewelry as we recently celebrated a birthday and wanted to commemorate the occasion with something special. We drove from Durham for the appointment and unfortunately, upon entry, were received with abysmal service and (lack of) interaction with the staff. No one greeted us in or even acknowledged our existence until one lady finally stated, "you my 3 o'clock?" As she proceeded to keep walking into the back before we could respond. She later returned and sat at the jewelry station staring down at her phone and continued to ignore us. Needless to say we left immediately. Love love love this place! I'd heard about it from friends, so I finally had to stop and give it a try. This store is actually much bigger than you'd expect, with both a gift shop and a boutique in one. The gifts range from baby to silly to festive, and if I had a million dollars, I'd spend it all on one trip. The staff is very outgoing and helpful, going out of their way to assist customers in any way they need. My favorite part, as a shopaholic, was the boutique. I'm a sucker for fall and winter fashion, so I was in cozy sweater heaven. The clothes are of great quality and relatively inexpensive, matching up with the current trends. I got 5 articles of clothing for $200, which I'd consider a big win! They have gift wrapping options and offer to style certain clothes in certain gift boxes based off of your preference. I found this gadget that you connect to your faucet that through some trick of lighting magically makes cold water turn bright blue and hot water bright red, this is a must have for any small child or slow-witted adult. These are the kinds of stores that are dangerous because nearly everything you see you can envision a recipient for. After an hour in there the female side of my Christmas list is basically done. She has increased online live events allowing you to shop from the comfort of your own home, numerous options are available to receive your items, and she even adapted two of my favorite events (the fall fashion show and holiday charity event) allowing them to continue safely. Posting again so everyone knows... Horrible experiencing in the Swagger boutique. Sales Clerk lied by omission about the return policy. I was told 14 days with receipt. Tags on and within 4 days, I was told I could only have store credit. WHAT? At time of checkout I specifically asked what the policy was and indicated that I didn't have time to try on the item now, but would like to bring it back if it didn't work out with the pants I had at home. I reached out via their web site 7 days later have NO response. Love to keep my money local, but not with this store. read more

I pop into Swagger each time I haven't given sufficient though to a gift. As in, Oops I need one tonight! Swagger is a great store with gifts in a nice price range and with a sense of humor. They have a section of oh so cute baby gifts, wine glasses and wine accoutrement, soaps and bath delights, jewelry, tshirts, some high end toys (no plastic junk here) funny cards, and bags. As other reviewers have said, Swagger is a great place to find a very cute but unusual last minute gift. It's a perfect place for a hostess gift or just a little something. They always have complimentary gift wrapping service and are very friendly and willing to help with whatever you need help with. They have also recently opened a clothing section in what used to be the shop next door which basically doubled the size of the store. Once Swagger followed me on Instagram, I followed back. I happened to like one of their dresses. After finally calling them 3 times (when I had asked them to call me, but when they had gotten it in stock, they didn't for some reason) I ordered the dress. It came in and was WAY to short for any dress to be. My Free People dresses aren't even anywhere near that short. Sending it back. By the way, their marketing technique is to follow a bunch of people on Instagram so the people will follow them back and see their products , but in a few days, they unfollow them. Pretty childish and mediocre marketing there. Almost add me not order anything from them. Thankfully I can send the dress back. read more

This past weekend I went in and they gave customers the opportunity to pick a lollipop that had a coupon for a certain percentage off. They have an attitude alright. My order was totally wrong. They sent towels instead of blankets for the two babies I ordered for. Then the three blankets they did send were suppose to be large but they were hardly large enough for a child. Owner was nasty. I called and told them the order was wrong. I actually thought they sent baby blankets instead of "Large" but she told me they were the right size!!!!! Large means big to me! She would not reimburse my money for the so called large blankets only the towels she ordered by mistake. I have reported to Better Business Bureau. This was a $108 order. I feel that I got screwed!!! She would only agree to reimburse $24. The store sucks! read more

I have been to both locations (Cary and Raleigh) and absolutely LOVE this store! I've been shopping at Swagger since they opened in Raleigh a few months ago and consistently buy their clothes. Highly recommend their sweaters! Comfortable and really cute! The sales staff are phenomenal-they greet you when you come in, learn your name and your style! The store is always pristine and the dressing rooms are roomy. Need a house warming, host, birthday, anniversary, teacher appreciation or just because gift? Swagger has got you covered. This store is cute and small, but the clothes are often the same styles just different colors throughout the whole year. The sales staff are also stuck up snobs who only acknowledge the existence of people who look like they have more money than the next person. By walking into this store, I have never once been greeted or been asked if they could help. i come into the store atleast twice a month. I do not why i continue to come to a store that is tired, rude, and has one of the most negative atmospheres i've ever been in. I'm amazed that this store has been open for as long as it has with the negative atmosphere, snobby sales staff, and tired clothing. read more
