I'll post the before and after photos and you be the judge!…read moreThe detailing, the accurate time frame, communication!!! I was rear ended and another body shop called it totaled, but Precision saved it for me!!!!

I came to this shop to have them replace the window regulator for my Mazda 6. I bought the part…read moreonline and my intention was to simply have the new regulator installed by the folks at Precision. They quoted me $150 and I agreed. At this time there were no other window issues with my car, with the exception that my rear passenger window would not roll up 100%, it would stop at 90%. I dropped off the car and they worked on the car. Then they called me 1-2 hours later and said the window regulator was not the problem. The owner/manager said the problem was with my plastic door panel and they would not be able to fix my rear passenger window issue. I picked up my car as well as the unused part and left. About 1 hour after picking up my car, I noticed that now, I had a new issue with the front passenger side window and the rear driver side window not rolling up or down. Prior to visiting Precision, both of these windows were working, but now all of a sudden they were not working. It was clear to me that the workers at Precision did something wrong that interrupted the ability for the other windows to roll up and/or down. Needless to say, I was beyond disappointed and upset that the staff here made the problem worse. I think when they took apart the rear passenger side door to attempt to replace the window regulator for that window, the workers messed something up that negatively affected the remaining windows. Now I have to take my car to the dealer so actual professionals who know what they're doing can fix this problem. Lesson learned, I'll never take my car to this shop again. I texted the owner/manager to let him know. He suggested I bring the car back to his shop so they could the issue but like I said, it does not appear that they know what they're doing so why would I got back? I don't want them to make it worse.

I was told by another transmission shop that does auto repair and transmission that my transmission…read morewas failing , most places don't want to work on my car because it is a problem car. I was surprised at the time it took to repair, they said a week, and once the work was started it was a week. The repair bill was far less than the other shop and I don't know how long I would have been without a car. The car gave me trouble after I got it, so I took it back. The mechanic looked at it and told me it was an air flow problem. I am very familiar with that term. The part was cleaned and I was told it might work, and it did for 2 days. I found a repair shop that was fair and the car seems to be running fine now. I don't blame the repair shops, my car is a problem car, but its the comfort and ease of getting into it that has me going to repair shops ,very few cars are senior sensitive.

I thought I did everything correct on which I did. Jus too much fluid. Soooo I said to self! Take it to a trans shop, I read reviews, took word of mouth in to consideration. I eventually selected HIRO TRANSMISSION. At first I was like I dunno because the guy (MIKE) didn't seem interested but I used him anyway. I'm glad I did, they basically serviced it and restored the fluids and I was good. No leaks they found ( to self) YAY!!! They got me up and running and didn't charge any excessive extra charges to get more money due to nothing being really wrong. I definitely will go back if needed.

Best in the game. Everyone else told me I needed a full engine rebuild, but Lonnie was the only one…read morewho correctly diagnosed the real problem. If he tells you he can't take you in for a month (like he did with me), wait it out. He'll get your car right, and it will likely take less time than gambling on another shop to finish the job. I brought in my '86 Grand National, and if you know these cars, you know they'll break down and test your patience. Lonnie not only fixed my head gasket but also tuned the car for more power. I had him rebuild my transmission too, and he did a phenomenal job with that as well. If you want to support a Black-owned business that knows its stuff is nothing but professional and will lace you with some game about your car too, you've found it. I appreciate his patience with me and my car, and he always picked up the phone when I had a question. 5/5 recommend. Thanks again, Lonnie!

As the owner of a beautiful Gold Special Edition '78 Trans Am, my GoldenBird is more than a car --…read moreit's a piece of American muscle history. That's exactly why I refuse to let just any mechanic touch it. This is where Lonnie stepped in. Lonnie is one of the rare few who not only understands classic hot‑rod engineering, but lives it. As the owner of Care Automotive, he's hands‑on, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about keeping vintage performance cars alive and running the way they were meant to. What sets him apart is integrity. I can't count how many times he's stopped me from buying parts I didn't need or steered me away from unnecessary upgrades. He treats your car like his own, and he treats your wallet with respect -- something almost unheard of in this industry. Because of his work, I have absolute confidence taking my Trans Am on real road trips -- not just to a local car show. We're talking Los Angeles to Vegas, Utah, Oregon, and everywhere in between. Long climbs, 90‑degree heat, 100+ mph stretches... and the GoldenBird performs flawlessly. Most guys wouldn't dare push their classic cars like that. Lonnie makes it possible. If you own a classic, especially a Pontiac, and you want someone who combines skill, honesty, and true hot‑rod passion, Lonnie is the guy.
