I got my oil changed for my 2013 suburu outback 3.6 R. They are very professional answer all my questions . I met the owner Chris, he was so nice and took the time to answer all my questions. Danny the manager showed me all my levels that I appreciate so much for showing me. I can now consider my neighborhood mechanic. They will break down the price on what exactly you need absolutely no pushing anything on you. read more

They were honest with my needs. They actually pointed out something that the dealership didn't do for my car even with 60K miles on it. The showed me the Car Fax because all dealerships are supposed to write what type of services they have done to a vehicle. My dealership put schedule maintenance on my car, but never went into a detail what type of schedule maintenance. So it's very vague. However, Luke King put in every single detail of work that done in my car, not a blanket statement. I appreciate Danny and Chris! read more

Great service, friendly people good price. Came in for an oil change and was in and out. Thank you, will return soon.

So this was a great experience getting an oil change for a Land Rover. A lot of oil change locations don't service these cars, but this particular shop did--and they have the best rates in the city. I definitely recommend you check them out. They even have a coffee and water station in the waiting area. The shop is located near other stores and restaurants, which makes it super convenient. Drop your car off, walk around the community, or support the other local businesses in the area, then come back and pick up your vehicle. One thing I also noticed is that first-time customers get 10% off. So not only are you already getting a great deal, but as a first-time customer, you get an even better one. Overall, it was a great experience! read more

I usually go to Chris and his team here to bring my used vehicles. Because everybody knows once you buy a used vehicle that has over 200,000 miles it's going to need a honest and fair priced mechanic, cause it's going to have issues. My latest vehicle was a 97 ford E-250 cargo van, typical ford always got issues, just out of curiosity I went shopping around for prices to get my fuel pump replaced. Stupid me I wasted a day "time and money" pricing other shops with their shady cheap mechanics, when I should have just went here first and trusted them. Victor helped me out with a very fair price and even replaced my fuel filter as well for a couple dollars more so one less issue to deal with in the future. I definitely recommend them and knowing this ford it will have another issue, I highly recommend, definitely sticking to the lube king. Thanks to them I can get back to work! Making money instead of losing money, thanks guys. read more

Lube King - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Hawthorne, California

I was able to get service right away. And they were very reasonable. They were also very professional and will definitely go back.

I rolled into Lube King mentally prepared for battle -- wallet guarded, trust issues activated, rehearsing my "no, I do NOT need a cabin air filter" speech. But these madmen... these absolute kings... just changed my oil and sent me on my way like I was a normal functioning adult. No upsell. No fake emergencies. No "your car needs a new left-handed muffler bearing." I almost cried. Alex deserves his own holiday. The man treated my Subaru like it was a rare artifact from Fast & Furious 1 and I was Vin Diesel in a hoodie. Quick service, zero BS, and somehow I left feeling like a better person emotionally and spiritually. Prices? Fair. Vibes? Immaculate. Bullsh*t? Not detected. I swear, if I ever open a religion, Alex is getting canonized. This place is so cool I half expected them to hand me a Capri Sun and a high-five on the way out. Shoutout to Alex and the whole squad for being cool AF and restoring my faith in oil changes. Love y'all. Stay greasy and glorious. read more

Are they hiding my review? Lack of professionalism , I called asking for price of oil change they say 85 and when I get there they change it to 120. Attitude for no reason. Save your time and money and go down the street with JAY read more

Honesty really is the best policy, and these guys live by it. I want to thank Danny for his professionalism and integrity when explaining what my car actually needed. He didn't overcharge, rush me, or tack on any extra fees or problems that weren't there. Jonathan got under the hood, took care of the upgrades, and even topped off my oil free of charge. It was a super hot day, but they still handled everything with patience, clear communication, and a great attitudes. That kind of service feels amazing. Thank you both, I'll definitely be back. read more

Came in for an oil change just after lunch based on other reviews, the guys made it quick and easy. Went across the street to eat while they worked and came back in about 30 minutes and they were done right on time. Even gave me a discount because it was my first visit. Felt like honest mechanics, which is a rarity these days. As long as I work in El Segundo, I'll definitely be coming back here for any car maintenance. read more

I've been a long-time customer and I never really have time to write reviews, but I felt bothered and had to open up an account with Yelp and Google to share my experience. I was there a few weeks ago to have my vehicle serviced. To my shock and disbelief, I was informed Alex, who is an utmost professional and cordially greeted me as soon as I arrived to the shop is no longer employed at Lube King. I think the new person in charge, his name is Daniel and is the new service manager. I have a gut instinct this new manager in charge is not very friendly, has a cold approach, gets very pushy, and forces you to sign your signature on the faded copied work order on his clipboard with no written communication as to what services need to be performed. The vibe I get from Daniel is the "talk the talk" upselling tactic, while abruptly raising his voice while talking, let alone i smell the strong odor of tobacco and alcohol on him, which I don't appreciate and feel very uncomfortable from Daniel. I found another auto service facility, but I don't receive that trusting excellent service I've gotten from the Lube King Team after Daniel was hired on. read more

I've been going to this place for over two years and I had faith in them until I've experienced a scam and a lie right in my face. I will not be going back period. What happened? I stopped by to get an oil change but then they made me wait over an hour to deal with two customers who came after me. The reason was the counter clerk and mechanic both told me I needed new front brake pads right away so I told them to show me. When they showed me they made me believe I need new brakes right away by pointing out how thin the pads are. I told them I would think about it and come back but when I got my brakes inspected by another honest guy Dave from mobile brake guy, he told me straight up I don't need new pads. He told me the pads are still good 40% life left and he wouldn't take my money. That's when something clicked because when I was waiting at the waiting room the clerk told 3 customers in the waiting room that they all need front brake pads changed. Yup that was their tactic to scam people and when I called it out, they were trying to give me false information with how skinny my pads are. Yea that's straight up sketchy scam. I've been coming here for two years so I'm sketched out if they put shitty recycled oil instead of regular good oil and messed up my engine. Anyhow that's it I'm not going back. Stay away from here. read more

I had called in to make an appointment for an oil change. Got there a little earlier and they were able to start on my car right away. After they completed the car inspection, they noticed my back breaks needed to be replaced and called me to let me know. They didn't try to sell me anything. I had forgotten about getting them replaced when I had gotten my front breaks replaced last time I got an oil change at a different shop. I was short on time because I did not expected additional services for my car. I communicate to them I needed the car by a certain time to get to my appointment and they delivered on time. I can't express how grateful I am to have found such amazing service with fair pricing. I will never return to the dealership for car services. read more

I got service here a long while back and they tried charging me $100 bucks for an oil change! I thought they were using conventional and told me they usually use synthetic. I said fine let me see which oil they used and instead of showing me the container of oil they used he said "it's fine I'll give you a discount and wouldn't show me the container" They tried lying about the service and tried playing it off. Never again. read more

Honest reliable service at a good price that effectively services the car....and the guys are very nice!

Good fair pricing and work was done in a timely manner. Staff are very helpful and friendly as well.

I am so mad and sad with what they did to my car and how they went about it. My husband took the 1986 Corvette for the front main seal replacement. He gets the car back and once he's home, he notices that the wheel locks have been cut off. He called the shop THREE times when they were working on the car to check in. Not once did they ask for the wheel lock key or let him know they cut it off. The wheel lock key was in the center console the whole time. When we took it to Americans tire, they were able to locate it right away. On top of this, when I checked the car fax, they input the wrong information!! They said they replaced the water pump when it was replaced back in 2019. This wasn't even the job I went in for. I'm so glad I still have the car fax. We went back since the owner said he'll replace the locks and this guy threw it at us. I'm sorry you guys couldn't do the job right. I'm sorry you guys messed up. 0/10 would not recommend Also they overcharge for sure read more

I recently was faced with eitheŕ having a major repair done on my 2002 Nissan Xterrà (117,778 mi) or buying a new car. I went to Lube King and asked Alex for three estimates. 1) to just repair the heater hoses in order for me to drive the car to the dealer to trade in 2) what repairs would be necessary if I were to keep the car for 6 mos. and then sell it 3) what repairs would be necessary if I were to keep the car for hopefully another 100k mi. Alex was so accommodating with patience and provided me with all three estimates. Because I began to have faith in what I was being told and felt everything to be done was necessary, I decided to keep the car for the long haul and asked for the extensive repairs, major 100k mi tuneup, changing all hoses in car, new battery, timing belt, main seal, etc. I had explained that I no longer felt safe driving my car and that I needed that comfort in order to keep the car for an extended time. On top of all this, Alex provided new wiper blades and àn oil change/filter at no charge and also gave me a $67 dollar discount. My car now drives as well as it did the day I got the car in 2002! I am so glad to have found Alex and his uncle with whom I feel are 100% honest and really care about my specific needs now and going forward. I can now say I have à new mechanic that is going to help me with routine maintaince from here on out and help me get the mileage out of my vehicle as I should be able to achieve. I highly recommend LubeKing, especially for us ladies who may not know all the much about cars and have a hard time trusting what we are told by some businesses/mechanics. Thank you, Alex and team. You are a solid repair shop with honesty, fair pricing, understanding, patience, and integrity! read more
