Reasonable price for quality service . ABS alerts popped up and dealer asked double price than the LAX auto repair's quote.

Very unprofessional and uncoordinated. Called a day before to make sure they can work on my 66 beetle and they Person on the phone told me to bring it in the following day at 8am and when I did the rude mechanic stated they don't work on these cars to call the owner. Waisted my time bringing my car in for nothing completely useless. read more

This an auto repair shop is THE local place to go to for your repairs. My dad had to get his valve cover gasket replaced. Arriving at the repair shop, each person was very helpful and made sure we had someone that helped us. We were waiting outside while the car was being assessed and another worker made sure that someone came out to help us and checked in on us. We worked with David and Art and both of them were so helpful and nice. The best part, they will give you a great deal for the service. Other places will try to make things overpriced but here, they are reasonable. After the car was finished David made sure to show us his work to make sure we were satisfied and happy with the repairs. He also showed us how to fix a rod to keep the hood up which something I struggled with from time to time. I will definitely go back to this auto repair shop when I have any issues with my car. I also will refer other people here because the service was so great. read more

Amazing team and shop, work extremely fast. Definitely recommend have been taking my car here for fixes for years.

My daughter's car over-heated at the airport and I made a blind call to Meher here at LAX Auto to ask him if we could tow the vehicle there since I live outside the area. He was very kind and helpful. He even did a free diagnostic on the car - giving me helpful direction as to the necessary repairs. I would recommend Meher and LAX Auto to my friends and I would get service here if I lived nearby. Thanks, Meher! read more

I had an Enterprise rental and got a flat tire. I went to this shop for a FAST and FLAWLESS tire repair. The customer service was great - owner and employees were friendly, accommodating, and happy to help. I showed up without any appointment due to the emergency and they fit me in without complaints or negative comments. I would definitely come here again for car service, tint, or audio/stereo. Thank you again!! You're the best :) read more

This place is dangerous This place is horrendousStay away from these people, the owner and the two children are dangerous. These are people to avoid absolutely. I called to ask how much the labor cost to put the brake roters, he told me $ 100 brought it and they replaced them, badly, because the car after vibrated, then the next day I asked him if they could count it the younger son a crazy unleashed answered me arrogantly telling me that if I left him in the week the car would have it He would have checked it, then I told him that if he paid so expensive he had to give a nice service because the customers would give him a bad review, this gets angry and jumps on me I try to avoid him Rd managed to go out of the office, the employee arrives another crazy unleashed, and calls the police comes the police &, vedento check read more

I had a bad experience with these guys I took my car in to get a tune-up and found out that I needed a radiator because the one I had had a hole in it. We agreed to $962 for new radiator, and a full tune up. They did have to job and replaced my radiator but did not give me a tune-up because they said I had oil on my intake manifold. And they just don't work on Dodge magnums. If you weren't going to do the full job, why would you do half of it. LAX Auto Repair should have gave me the option of letting them fix my radiator itself, or taking my car to someone else who would do the full tune up and the radiator. They fixed my radiator then gave me a phone call saying that they're not going to do my tune up held my keys hostage until I paid $625 for the radiator job. I feel that LAX Auto Repair in Gardena California should have gave me the option. The only reason they are getting one star is because of the professionalism of the Sun. read more

arts team was very fast and knowledgeable when it came to changing my oil. I'll be coming back soon

They destroyed my car. Came to troubleshoot a simple sensor they just leave car on to let it overheat and bloe up, and refuse to do anything on paper saying "yeah yeah free diagnostic". Dont accept anything for free from thesr guys, make sure everything is on paper. Donotpay.com if they screwed you. read more

Went to get an regular oil change, they had great price and it was very fast. Great local shop and the owner is very nice.

My friend's friend suggested me to go here. It was an emergency for my car. Mr. Jay was there to rescue my partner in crime! MY EXPECTATION: BEFORE: LOW It was my first time in this location. I was just sent here for a recommendation. I was around the area so I decided check my engine. My senses told me I have to let Mr. Jay check it ASAP. RATING: AFTER: VERY GOOD There were three mechanics working on my car. I felt like my partner was having a surgery. Mr. Jay was detailed on explaining things (my brain was trying to think like a mechanic). OVERALL: AFTER: VERY,VERY GOOD (Mr. Jay and his team) -Quick thinker -Easy to work with -Mr. Jay has a great sense of humor -Strong work ethic -Good diagnostic skills Note: Thank you Mr. Jay and team for your honest and good customer service! Best auto shop in Gardena, amazing customer service. Always goes above and beyond for customers. I appreciate you guys!

Update march 18th after my jan 30th 2018 review, will go get oil changed. David took off all 4 tires on my 2009 Scion xB and informed me I was in need of an immediate brake job. With 4 new rotors. I had no grinding and he quoted me $350 but could be cheaper if I wanted to use parts made in China. Last fall my daughter had a brake job on her 2010 Ford Focus ses cost with 2 new rotors was $280.00. Difference is quote on focus was from Jay the previous owner. Too bad David wants take advantage of long time customers. They cleaned up office, when I went David was there but owner wasn't so David admitted to me that Jay had sold the shop. In others words he lied when he said Jay was coming back in April. read more

* Promt response from quote request here on Yelp. Art even gave me numbers and estimate which is cool because for me I want actual numbers because I always on a budget. * Lobby is clean and comes with basic ammenities, water, coffee, etc. Shop is neat as well. Saw one employee wiped the oil or dirt right after it touched the ground. A clean shop is always a plus for me. Just my opinion. * Art is doing a great job on managing this place and making sure that all customers are well informed with updates. * They're modern. Everything is computerize with sales invoice and documents. * Highly recommended! Link is shared to all my family and friends. read more

Best local mechanic you can go to! I had only gone to Firestone before and had bad experiences where they try to squeeze me for whatever money they can get. However, lax auto repair is the opposite. It is caring people doing what makes them happy. The worker (or owner I'm not sure) Mo was very helpful and transparent. Great qualities for your mechanic. I would recommend anyone in the area to come here with any car issue just to see for yourself. read more

We had just driven from Georgia to California in a rental car. We had driven through storms across the a U.S., and anticipated more on our return trip. The tire psi were all over the place, varying from 44-65, which is not safe and the windshield wipers needed to be replaced. The rental car company referred me to LAX AUTO REPAIR. They were polite, prompt, and efficient in handling these issues. They had me back on the road in no time with my concerns addressed. Thank you for taking care of me. read more

I have been going to LAX Mobile for about 5 years; I drive 25 miles just to go there! Most of our friends go there now because of the great service and they know they won't get ripped off. If you are looking for a good, fair, HONEST mechanic, you'll find it here. A few years a go I went to a local tire/mechanical type establishment to purchase new tires, they told me I need new brakes, belts, hoses, shocks ect it was close to $900. I took my 4runner to Jay at LAX Mobile and he had it for about an hour when he called me and said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle....IT NEEDED NOTHING. I trust Jay at LAX Mobile with all of our vehicles! read more
