Staff is very standoffish, location selection is comparable to Mount Clemons. The customer service was better before the remodel.

Doesn't have a wide selection of glasses. But the customer service was great. I will go back.

Here's the thing. You can go to the usual places for eyeglasses e.g. LensCrafter, Eyeglass World,…read moreetc. And sure, they will have the name brands you may want to flaunt on your face. But think about it. The total ends up being around $400. For a pair of glasses. All to promote a brand who couldn't care less about you. Now let's talk about Warby Parker. There are no name brands here. They are the brand. There is no middle man here upping up the prices, because they are that middle man. They make the whole process effortless. You go in. Find a pair of glasses that range from $90-$125 IN TOTAL including the frames, lenses, etc. You provide them with the contact details of the place where you last purchased your glasses. And that is it. There are no pushy, fake salespeople who are all over you for that commission, as they are not commission based. They just care about making sure you are happy with your purchase. That's it. Best part of all, for every pair of glasses you purchase, they donate a pair to someone in need. I will 100% be returning back. Special shout out to all of those who helped my husband and I this past Saturday!

I've bought glasses here, and had glasses cleaned and re-fitted when they got a little loose. The customer service is 12/10.

This is a nice gallery but it's small and has pretty limited hours - 22 hours a week over 4 days…read moreright now. They've been around a long time and it seems like they showcase pretty old school artists here, too. The last show I attended here was for venerable Cass Corridor artist Robert Sestok. I tend to forget about this gallery, tucked back into a little storefront spot on the ground floor of a loft building. It's location and small size make it good for gallery hopping, though. Detroit Artists Market is nearby and the evening I made it to the Sestok opening here I also checked out an opening at the MOCAD. I'd also recommend checking to see when openings are as they'll likely be open later and you can see the space buzzing with people.

Simone is a brilliant curator. I've rarely seen anyone hang shows this well. And the DeSousa Gally…read moreis a fine and beautiful space. The shows she assembles and puts up are breathtaking. They are so clued into the spirit of Detroit and so magnificently displayed that you will walk out of them needing a fan. She is absolutely dedicated to her adopted home city and we are all the luckier for that dedication...she is a gentle, yet fierce promoter and patron of the arts...I make an effort to stop in here as often as I can. It's just that fine.
