Iced Salted Caramel Hojicha

The owners are very friendly and very informative with all the coffee and tea they have in the store. I decided to go with the Ice Salted Caramel Hojicha and it exceeded my expectations! Not too sweet and the Hojicha is very fragrant, I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the city!

Bottom line: SveTea is more than a tea shop. They have coffee, gifts, matcha, mugs and tea ware, other "cozy things" for the home in their small little place. There is also a beverage bar in back with some tasty drinks. The owner/staff is enthusiastic about their offerings and it shows. I tried their Elderflower Lemon Iced Tea and their 5oz. Americano coffee, both excellent. Worth a stop in. The Deets: Recently I had noticed a new addition to the lineup of shops in Morrisville Market Shopping Center with SveTea. This shop has a small footprint but lots to offer when going into it. As you may, of course, take from their name is that they are tea specialty shop. However, they offer so much more than tea...along with tea there is coffee, matcha, cold drinks, sweets but also mugs and tea ware, gifts, home decor/gift items, other "cozy things" as their sign on the window describes. A good way to survey all these types of items is to go to their website to get a look even before going to the shop. The owner/staff were very eager on my first visit to tell me about their business and to let me smell their different leaf teas and compare (I am not a big tea enthusiast beyond green tea and that extremely sweet Southern iced tea I grew up enjoying, but I loved learning here). I can see their enthusiasm in reading their "From The Business" section on their Yelp page as well. I've purchased two beverages at their beverage bar in back, the Elderflower Lemon Iced Tea and their 5oz. Americano coffee beverage. Both were excellent, I enjoyed each. Do note that they do not have seating for the beverage bar here in the store itself. I hope this little shop gets the traffic they deserve in this small Morrisville shopping center, they get 5 stars from me in their enthusiasm and their varied offerings as well as tasty beverages. SveTea is worth checking out.

The Perfect Piece is nicely tucked away in an old bank at the base of downtown Cary. (This makes…read morefor a particularly fun excursion through the store as you look to see how much of the old bank is still intact. For instance the vault is now a cool little room) Lucky for you! they have a parking lot, so you don't have to worry about the parking hassle that downtown Cary can be! The sign on the door describes this place well! It says "Upscale Furniture, consignment, and Home Decor" and Vendor Booths. I would say this is the kind of store that falls on my "want" list. (Places like grocery stores are need places, b/c you actually need their stuff. Want stores are the places that you buy things merely b/c you want them.) If you are looking for something to decorate with this is the place to come. It does not matter your style, be it modern, eclectic, shabby chic, old country home, prissy, laid back, manly or fru fru, they have it all. It can be a little overwhelming to be in this place b/c there is SOOOOOOOOOOO much here, but it is defiantly worth hunting through. They not only carry home decor, but jewelry and accessories, such as sunglasses scarves and handbags. It's fun to walk through and see the different personalities of the booth owners as you walk through and see how they have decorated. Some of the items are new, some are used, and some are consignment. There is no real distinction between the categories and the store is a mish mash of it all. Some things were bargain priced while somethings were just pricey. You just have to play the, is it that cute? game. Example: The hubbie and i were in a glasses store earlier today and they had some designer glasses for $350, they were cute, but not $350 cute. then when we came to the Perfect Piece we found a pair of glasses that had a similar design without the designer price tag for $13 and i thought to myself, now those are $13 cute! so i got them. So next time you're up for redecorating, or you're looking for that something, but you just don't know what it is go here! Their stock is always changing, in fact while we were there we saw pieces coming and going. Staff are super friendly and help if you are looking for something. One thing to note, just in case you decide to buy someone a gift here, they have a no refund policy. So if you buy it, you better be sure you like it! Happy shopping!

All I can say is "wow". I've driven by Streets of London for months, always meaning to stop in…read more This place is amazing if you're in the market for antiques from Europe (or from early America) circa 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. I've been searching for some smaller pieces for my downsized abode and haven't been too enamored of one store, yet. That may change now that I've seen what Streets of London has available. SLA carries some beautiful Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, and early American furniture, some with the most exquisite carvings. They truly are works of art. There was a mirrored Victorian organ, a French mirrored armoire, and a 1940s era silk embroidered sofa, that I could not stop staring at. And for the sofa, I know I'd be sitting on the floor in front of it, admiring the detailing; probably defeating the purpose of having something that nice. There isn't just furniture here, either. For whatever period, there's art, lithographs, bed frames -- brass and wood, glass punch bowls, silver tureens, china, and tea services. One silver tea service was the type with the pot on a hinged device where it could be tipped for pouring without having to be picked up. That was the first time I've seen one of those up close. Although I was completely stunned at how many gorgeous pieces I saw, most of them were far too big for my available space. That's where the owner, Gill, came to my rescue. She told me the smaller pieces were always the first to be sold, but she was expecting another shipment later this year. As she's trying to sell down her inventory in advance of the new shipment, she tempted me sorely by telling me she may be willing to deal on some of the existing inventory. I now have a reason to go back besides just for a visual treat in the genre of wood. Until then, if there's any way I can make that organ or sofa fit . . . where did I put that measuring tape and yardstick. . . .

Wonderful antiques. Bought two pieces so far. Love this store…read more Gill is so easy going and friendly.

Just received our new set of couches and I couldn't be more pleased with them!…read more Everyone from discount furniture was very helpful throughout the whole process, from selecting a couch- to the delivery. The women in the showroom were very knowledgeable & made the purchasing process seamless. The color couch we wanted was not something that was in stock & was going to take 6-8 weeks to be delivered, which we were fine with. They had plenty of other options that could have been delivered sooner but this was the one we really wanted. They had everything delivered to us within the given time frame! The gentlemen who delivered the couch were professional & efficient. It had been raining on the day of delivery so the ground was wet, but they got the couches in our back door and not a spot on them. Very reasonably priced furniture & a great team to assist you! We will definitely be stopping here first for any future furniture needs.

Every other store had delivery for the sofas we wanted estimated for 8-12 weeks (Covid, back orders, pausing in manufacturing). We came into this store and began looking around. We saw a cute counter height table with stools at an very reasonable price (less than 500 for a table and 4 upholstered stools) and was in stock to be delivered on Monday (we bought on Saturday). We also purchased a sectional sofa and a lift top coffee table. The sofa was also available to be delivered and set up on Monday (two days from purchase!!). All items (full dining room set with 4 stools, large 3 piece sectional, and lift top coffee table) plus delivery came to just under 1800. They also have some financing options available as well! The folks who worked there were also incredibly helpful and worked with us to get the items we wanted as quickly as possible. I would 10000% return to this place for my furniture needs!

I own a cat and never ever is there enough cat related items. I am disappointed the pet section is dedicated dog with part of 1 asile for cats and little to choose from. My favorite part of the store is the kitchen section. I always find things I love there, especially the Rae Dunn products. My one issue with kitchen section is they don't have kitchen scales. It seems they have everything but. Everytime I have gone there I have looked (and not just this HomeGoods). This particular store is clean, not overcrowded (even in the holiday season) and has plenty of products. Rarely do I leave there without something in a bag! I've literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars updating a variety of homes, beach condos, etc. Love the variety of high-quality products, love the pricing, but one thing that is a HUGE pet peeve of mine (that I always! complain about when I'm at the store) is where they put the almost impossible to remove price stickers. Candles-smack on the side of the jar instead of on the bottom. Platters, glassware, the list goes on and on. Here's a picture of a platter I recently bought for Christmas that I ended up bagging using because I didn't have enough time to deal with the sticker. Tonight, I'm having a dinner party so I decided to take it off. I have nail polish on, so can't use nail polish remover-and wanted to avoid having to soak this for hours, but I can't even get it off with a razor blade or a very sharp sharp knife. Ridiculous! Nobody's gonna be stealing things out of the store if the stickers are put in the bottom in an unobtruse location (where you're not having to deal with trying to remove it immediately unless you're giving it as a gift, almost killing or slicing yourself yourself in the process as-I did with this knife because it keeps slipping across the platter as I try to scrape the DAMN sticker off! Incredibly frustrating. I've given this feedback SO many times yet nothing ever changes, but it's probably because I'm giving it to the people ringing me out and they don't give a crap! HomeGoods management-please do something about this! It's incredibly annoying!
