I called about a week in advance to book my hair appointment with Eunice. I can tell right away…read morejust from my initial conversation with her that she was very experienced and knowledgeable about hair care. I was looking for a salon to get my annual digital perm. I was convinced that she was someone I could trust with my hair and to help me get the digital perm that I wanted so I booked my appointment with her. I was already warned that digital perms would take a long time so she told me to block out about 3-4 hours. Before starting anything, she checked the health of my hair and also talked through cutting my hair before starting the digital perm process. I appreciated how she knew what lengths and the type of haircut that would best suit me as the digital perm would grow out in the future. I also showed her my digital perms from the past that I liked and didn't like (from other salons that I had gone to) and we were in agreement as to what kind of perm, length, and shape she was going to aim for. She pays great care to details and even made sure that she had the correct intensity of chemicals to make sure that she preserved the health of my hair while perming it. I really appreciated her taking her time to make sure that she was thorough and careful to make sure that this was going to be worthy of my investment. She explained each step of the perm process as she was doing each step. She takes great pride in her work and wanted to make sure that she was also satisfied with her work. Although it was a long morning, she took great care to make sure that I was comfortable and even offered coffee/beverages while I waited. Eunice is so incredibly sweet and is so much fun and easy to talk to. Digital perms in general are pricey, but it's because there is a lot of labor and preparation that goes into perms that are done correctly and done well. I feel like her price point was fair considering her thoroughness and care throughout the process. I definitely plan to come back again next year and I am so glad that I found someone I can confidently trust and go back to for my annual digital perm.

I love this place and I love Suzan as professional. I've been going here for last 2 years. She is specialize in all hair types, especially naturally curly, tin-straight and even Black hairstyles. I am mixed and even though my hair is pretty easy to care, I have had trouble finding stylists who listen and able to understand my texture of hair. She is amazing at hair cuts and color. I have seen very few stylists who can do what she does with scissors.I regularly get complimented on my hair wherever I go.WIN-WIN! Now I take my daughters here. They refuse to go anywhere else but her. Suzan is a truly talented. She even has her own talented professional eye for every individual hair look and hair type.. She knows how to care for all types of hair but especially mixed color combination hair. My daughters love going to her who is the master of the blowout and coloring. In my opinion, this is the best salon and hairstylist in the city. We are blessed and would highly recommend her and her work without reservation. I love her work, her personality, and just overall how fast she gets me in and out the chair. read more

Suzy has been cutting my hair for 6 years now. I am very particular about my cuts, so this says a lot. I started out with a pixie-short cut and am now in the awful growing-out stages. Through it all, Suzy has given me the most "cutting-edge" hair cuts and color. She wields a razor for those precise razor cuts like no other, and is a master with the scissors. From the trendiest of short and medium cuts to the most romantic long waves and curls, she is the best. I can explain to her the color combinations I want, or show her a photo, and she gets it right on. Aside from the above, she is a consummate professional, reliable and a sweetheart to boot! She is also great with make-up. I highly recommend Suzy. You will not be disappointed. read more

I've visited Suzy a few times now and the combination of great prices, attentiveness to the customer's wishes, and quality haircut can not be beat. She is basically a one-woman operation, and two of the three visits she opened the salon just to do my hair. We literally walked up at the same time. There is something wonderful and charming about this BUT I hope more people read this review and flood her with customers so she has to expand. On top of everything, Suzy cares beyond her work as a stylist - she has reached out to try to help my fledgling film career to other clients of hers. Above and beyond, that's Suzy. read more
