Sabrina has been administering my fillers and Botox during this time, and I appreciate her kindness and skill. She ensures that I achieve natural-looking results and utilizes advanced techniques and pain management strategies to minimize any discomfort. My lip fillers, in particular, always turn out beautifully and align with my aesthetic goals. Sabrina's attention to detail, such as noting which side I sleep on to maintain facial symmetry, truly sets her apart. I'm interested in other cosmetic and surgical procedures in the future, West End being the only place I would go. If you're looking for a new spot, this practice's cleanliness, professionalism, and the kindness of their staff have made a lasting impression on me, so I would 100% recommend. Side note: I wanted to mention that I've never felt profiled here and I'm always treated consistently, regardless of how I'm dressed. I know this can be an issue at other med spas and cosmetic practices, so I thought it was important to share this observation for those who might be concerned about such things.

I am only 3 months out from surgery and my results are wonderful - although apparently I have some more swelling going on that will shrink. Wild - I'd be happy with the results as is. I'm posting this review exactly 1 day shy of being 3 months out from my double eyelid surgery. I…read morecan sum my experience up in one statement - I wish I'd done it sooner! I'd debated double eyelid surgery my whole life but got really interested during COVID. I saw some tapes that claimed they could give permanent double eyelids by using for 6 months or more every night. They worked...until they didn't! When the double eyelids stopped showing up one morning, what I did realize was how looser/lower the skin had gotten from the repeated crease tracing and tapes. Not good at all when compounded with how fatty/thick my eyelids naturally are. I also realized how my eyelids were getting in the way. I was unconsciously raising my right eyebrow pretty much the entire day in order to see better as the eyelid was covering so much of my pupil (which is also to say that my eyelashes were basically invisible at that point). I was starting to develop a wrinkle on the right side of my forehead only from this. Given my family has been debating a trip to Korea for a while, I also thought about pushing off getting my eyelids done in Korea. But I didn't want to spend a good week or so of precious vacation time dealing with recovery. Plus, what if something DID go wrong, I wanted a local doctor I could easily follow up with! I booked a consultation with Dr. Chaboki as he had the best portfolio out of all local doctors. This area already has a limited pool so I wasn't too hopeful when I first searched, and was worried I might have to go to NY or CA to find a doctor familiar with Asian eye anatomy. I needn't have worried as Dr. Chaboki gave me the exact results I wanted. I merely wanted my lashline visible and a defined fold. I've heard some doctors push ptosis correction (even in cases where it might not be needed), and epicanthoplasty alongside double eyelid procedures but there was none of that here. After all, ptosis is a medical condition and a whole different procedure. I booked the surgery and took a 1.5 weeks off of work, even though I work from home, because I knew my eyes would be tired. The procedure was easy-peasy, not to minimize anything since it's still a surgical procedure, but it was so tolerable. I had no ill effects (compliance with aftercare instructions is of utmost importance!). I will say there was a big difference at the 6 week mark in terms of healing. A really natural look settled in by then. And now at 3 months there's an even bigger difference and I don't think anyone would be able to tell unless I disclosed it. Very happy with my results and Dr. Chaboki is clearly a master at his craft and he's SO specialized in facial work, it really immediately shows!

Unfortunately, I had to write a review after what I have experienced. I really relied on excellent…read morereviews before choosing this place, but that was my mistake. I have been going for more than a year for Botox. The first time my eyebrows had a heavy look and generally just look "frozen" despite I explained I would like them to be lifted not dropping that much. In any case, did not like it and the same happened the second time even though I specifically said to Dr. Cabin last time I was in I was upset with the result. They said, we understand, and we will do otherwise. I did Halo and BBL with no result, just trust me. I was advised to do fillers under my eyes, laugh lines and jaw area. I asked how it would look under my eyes and jaw area since it was my first time I was told it would look very nice. It was very painful. Next morning I woke up with big bags under my eyes. I thought it's just swelling, and it would go away. It was not the case. I had an international travel coming up in 2 days. I talked to Dr. Cabin, and he said he could dissolve it, but it would be painful as well and I would have bruises. I had to wear my hat for about two weeks because I looked awful. Then my friends who travelled with me advised that I would see a doctor in Istanbul because I looked scary. He was surprised to see fillers been injected under my eyes. He was able to dissolve some of it and I felt myself again. I was thinking of face lift but thank God did not do it at this practice. I do not think Dr. Cabin would be able dissolve if something went wrong with surgery. Ladies, please, please do not rely on and trust 5-star reviews and always start with something small and see the results first. I can't imagine an experienced plastic surgeon can't understand and imagine what will look right on your face before advising anything. If things can go wrong by injecting such simple procedures like fillers, Botox, etc. I do not want to imagine what will happen under his knife. I always choose expensive clinics by just thinking if it is expensive, it must be good and it's my face at end of the day. I guess I must pay attention to negative reviews which are buried under excellent reviews and then make my final decision from now on. I do not recommend Dr. Cabin for Botox, fillers, Halo, BBL and for any facial surgeries. Please do a thorough search before you end up like me. After the response from clinic I had to answer. I received a call and asked to remove/edit my review despite I have gone through a lot of pain and ugly look at the end as a result of very simple facial procedures at this clinic. I explained the trauma I went through but they simply did not care and i refused to remove my review. If you really care about yourself, your face and do not want to experience what I have just blindly looking at the "excellent" reviews. It's up to you if you prefer to ignore like I did and experiment.

I was under the care of Dr. Davison for the reconstruction portion of my treatment for Stage III…read morebreast cancer. He was recommended by my medical team at Sibley, and for good reason. He communicated well with my team and with me, making clear to me my options for reconstruction before my mastectomy. I opted for a single mastectomy and a DIEP flap reconstruction, which uses abdominal fat to reconstruct the breast rather than an implant. He worked seamlessly with my breast surgeon during the mastectomy and insertion of an expander while I underwent treatment. He knew how scared I was and my family was - my parents in particular - and had a wonderful bedside manner with them and with me. My parents STILL talk about how nice he was, even a couple of years later. The DIEP flap surgery is intense - and he made sure I knew what I was getting into in terms of the stress of the surgery and the recovery. I always felt supported during recovery, and he was also supportive of physical therapy to get my abdominal strength back. DIEP flap usually requires a revision surgery after. He offered liposuction but without any pressure to do so. I did opt for it and the final results of both the reconstruction and liposuction have been fantastic. In sum, I always felt like I was in good hands with Dr. Davison, and recommend him highly.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with DaVinci Plastic Surgery and Dr. Pinell. My…read morebiggest concern is that when I have raised problems with my results, the response has been that I need to pay more money to have them addressed. I paid $480 for Botox approximately one month ago and have seen no meaningful difference. As shown in my photo, I still have very noticeable forehead lines when making facial expressions. When I contacted the office about my concerns, I was told that I would have to pay AGAIN for a touch-up. After already paying $480, I find this response unacceptable. My concerns go beyond the Botox. Dr. Pinell previously treated me at Sibley Hospital during an emergency involving a serious facial infection and abscess. An incision was made in my cheek to drain the infection. I understand that this was an emergency and that treating the infection was the priority. However, I was left with a noticeable indentation/scar on my face. When I returned approximately eight months later to discuss the scar, I was told that Dr. Pinell could perform a scar revision, but I would have to pay for it myself and was told it could not be billed to insurance. I have serious questions about how the original incision was closed and whether another closure technique could have reduced the resulting scar. What I find most unacceptable is the pattern: when I raise a concern about the outcome of treatment, the answer seems to be that I need to pay more money. I paid $480 for Botox and saw virtually no improvement--then I was told to pay again for a touch-up. I was left with a noticeable facial scar after an emergency procedure--then I was told I would need to pay for scar revision. I am not expecting perfection or a guarantee from any cosmetic or medical procedure. I do expect a medical practice to take a patient's concerns seriously, evaluate an unsatisfactory result, clearly explain the options, and show some accountability rather than responding to each concern with another charge. Based on my experience, I am extremely disappointed with the results and the way my concerns have been handled. UPDATE: After posting my review, Dr. Pinell personally called and asked me to remove it. She repeatedly reminded me that she came in during Christmas, "helped" me, and that I could have lost my eye. I am grateful my emergency was treated, but medical care should not be used to make a patient feel guilty for raising concerns. Dr. Pinell offered me a Botox refund and told me I could go elsewhere. When I contacted the office to accept it, the office manager was extremely confrontational, rude, and dismissive. He repeatedly told me "she helped you," insisted that "any procedure leaves a scar," and then explicitly told me I would only receive the refund if I removed my review. I refused. I will not be pressured into deleting an honest review in exchange for a refund. I can appreciate receiving emergency treatment while still having every right to question my scar, results, and follow-up care. If removing my review is the condition for the refund, they can keep it.

He corrected asymmetry and several other issues from my prior breast augmentation by a different surgeon that had left me very unhappy, and the transformation is remarkable. From start to finish, I felt incredibly well cared for. I previously had surgery with another prominent DMV-area plastic surgeon, and my experience with Dr. Chang was far superior. He was incredibly thorough, immediately understood what bothered me, and explained in great detail how he'd approach each concern. When I finally met him in person on September 12th, I was almost two hours late thanks to D.C. traffic and baggage claim chaos. I was mortified but his staff couldn't have been more kind or accommodating. They never made me feel rushed or dismissed, which completely calmed my nerves. And side note: his office is stunning, right in the heart of D.C., modern, and immaculate. During the in-person consult, Dr. Rad recorded a video walkthrough of everything we planned to do, including my comments and concerns. We decided to break my surgery into two phases because of my work schedule. I didn't want to be excessively swollen. Phase One Procedures: * Canthoplasty * Fat grafting to temples, forehead, under-eyes, and lips * Bullhorn lip lift I had way too much old filler in my lips, and Dr. Sherber (who works with Dr. Rad & married to him) kindly stayed after hours to dissolve it before surgery. She was so sweet, and I'm honestly grateful! By the weekend, I couldn't believe how overfilled my lips had been before. Surgery Day: Monday morning came fast. The surgery took place at a trauma hospital, so while it was a bit hectic, everything went smoothly. I woke up about 6.5 hours later, and Dr. Rad checked in to tell me everything went beautifully. His post-op nurse, Donna, was an absolute lifesaver. She stayed with me for 48 hours after surgery and took incredible care of me. Especially during the first 12 hours when I couldn't stop throwing up (I'm super sensitive to anesthesia). She never left my side until I stabilized. By Wednesday, Dr. Rad removed my drains, and on Friday, my lip lift stitches came out. My husband and I even went sightseeing with no issues (weather was perfect)I flew home that Sunday and recovery has been smooth sailing ever since. Any time I've had a question day or night his office has been lightning-fast to respond. Coming from the West Coast, I've seen my share of top Beverly Hills surgeons (even had a rhinoplasty with one of em that's a story for another time), but Dr. Rad stands out above them all. He genuinely cares about your well-being, results, and experience from start to finish. This isn't a paid review, I just believe that when someone goes above and beyond, they deserve to be recognized. If you're on the fence or considering him, this is your sign: 10/10, would do it again in a heartbeat.
