Finally a pediatrician that opens on Saturdays. They open every other Saturday. I found it to be so convenient. Most places only work on the weekdays and a lot of parents can't afford to make the appointment. Sunflower is located on the 2nd floor. You'll have to take the elevator. This place was clean. Your greeted by the friendliest receptionist. The waiting room is small but its full of toys for the kids. They play kids shows on Netflix and not those cheesy dvds on repeat. Dr. Borieux was great. She treated our kids like her own and I thought she was very thorough with our well being exam. Hallway is bright and we didn't really have to wait long. The exam room was clean and painted differently in each room. She definitely listens and gives good advice. I like how it's small and personal. I feel like with a few more visits, she would be someone you want to get to know. My kids responded to her with ease. I think I made a right choice making her our PCP. I would highly recommend sunflower pediatrics!

We drove 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the er only to see a tiny piece of paper on the door saying "we are closed" another saying "X-ray broken" and another saying "at full capacity" (even though they were closed and there wasn't a car in sight.) It's 2023. Update your website with your hours. There's even an option to indicate it's temporary so patients don't get confused. Don't put "accepts walk ins" in your business plan if you can't take new customers - as indicated by one of many pieces of paper on your glass door. While this thankfully was not an emergency, I indicate that it's 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the er only to illustrate how frustrating it is to drive 40 minutes round trip for nothing. When an up to date online presence would tell any stressed, overwhelmed parent they should just head straight to the er and that 40 minutes could be put toward the long er wait times. I finish this post with a question. If this office can not figure out something as simple as the internet, are they really reliable enough to help you in an urgent situation with your children?

You have to wait 30-40 minutes, either in the hallway or in the exam room, and when you ask why, they just say, "Please wait, the doctor is with another patient," even though you arrived on time for your appointment. But if you are late by just 10-20 minutes, they refuse to see you and lie, saying that the doctor is not there or has already left, even though you know he is still in the clinic. There were also cases when they wrote down a false diagnosis without any examination and refused to correct it afterward. When I asked who made such a diagnosis, they said they supposedly got that information from a third party and were not required to tell me who -- which is a complete lie, because no one else could possibly comment on my child's health. Why would they make up such nonsense? Overall, this clinic shows no care or respect for patients. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had.
