We were aware that this would be a limited check. And Michelle was extremely GROSS and visibly upset. After 45 minutes, they gave us a questionnaire form for allergies and said once it was completed, they would schedule us for an allergy test. Mind you, we were told that today's visit WAS for the allergy test. They completely wasted our time and had us call off of work for what? A questionnaire that could've been emailed. Highly unacceptable.

Today, we were able to get a same-day appointment for our 1.5-year-old, who was running a very high fever and was ultimately diagnosed with RSV. The nurses and doctors were incredibly caring, and we even received a follow-up call that evening from the doctor we saw, Dr. Passmore. Very happy with our care here!

Jill Overcash in particular is the best physicians I have ever met in any specialty. She is consistently up to date on the latest studies which is less common than you would think. She and the other doctors are very warm and kind towards the children, very evidence-based, and very adaptable to your child and their particular needs. They don't go overboard throwing medicine at your kids, but when they do prescribe something it is very carefully considered and tailored for your child. They did a great job with our kids when they were babies and now that they are 7 and 4 they are adapting to them as they grow up and face different health issues. Our family has been sick a lot each winter and they have always been very helpful. I can't say enough about their practice. The only downside I can come up with is just be on time. They run a tight ship and if you are more than a few minutes late you'll get rescheduled. It's for the collective good but it's frustrating when it happens. We drive from Decatur to see them and it's well worth it!

My daughter use to scream & cry EVERY single visit, she was THAT child you could hear from 3 doors down. Now, she sits there quietly, listens well & has 0 tears. I appreciate the amount of time Dr.Overcash spends with her patients & their parents. She wants you to understand throughly & takes the time to explain any & everything you bring forward. For anyone who is upset with "long wait times"...understand that these doctors are dedicated to your child's care & make sure you have what you need before you walk out the door. Finally a pediatrician that opens on Saturdays. They open every other Saturday. I found it to be so convenient. Most places only work on the weekdays and a lot of parents can't afford to make the appointment. Sunflower is located on the 2nd floor. You'll have to take the elevator. This place was clean. Your greeted by the friendliest receptionist. The waiting room is small but its full of toys for the kids. They play kids shows on Netflix and not those cheesy dvds on repeat. Dr. Borieux was great. She treated our kids like her own and I thought she was very thorough with our well being exam. Hallway is bright and we didn't really have to wait long. The exam room was clean and painted differently in each room. She definitely listens and gives good advice. I like how it's small and personal. I feel like with a few more visits, she would be someone you want to get to know. My kids responded to her with ease. I think I made a right choice making her our PCP. Instead of listening, she repeatedly responded as though I were demanding medication even if the tests were negative. She would not listen when I tried to clarify what I was actually asking. The entire interaction was extremely frustrating and unpleasant. How can someone this unprofessional be allowed to care for pediatric patients? She did not even understand the names of my child's medications, repeatedly talked over me, and ignored what I was trying to explain as the patient's parent. She then walked out visibly irritated and proceeded to speak disrespectfully about me to another nurse loudly enough for both my child and me to hear through the open door. This behavior was completely inappropriate, disrespectful, and unacceptable in a pediatric healthcare setting.

We drove 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the er only to see a tiny piece of paper on the door saying "we are closed" another saying "X-ray broken" and another saying "at full capacity" (even though they were closed and there wasn't a car in sight.) It's 2023. Update your website with your hours. There's even an option to indicate it's temporary so patients don't get confused. Don't put "accepts walk ins" in your business plan if you can't take new customers - as indicated by one of many pieces of paper on your glass door. While this thankfully was not an emergency, I indicate that it's 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the er only to illustrate how frustrating it is to drive 40 minutes round trip for nothing. When an up to date online presence would tell any stressed, overwhelmed parent they should just head straight to the er and that 40 minutes could be put toward the long er wait times. I finish this post with a question. If this office can not figure out something as simple as the internet, are they really reliable enough to help you in an urgent situation with your children?

I met him at Children's Hospital many years ago when my daughter was small and one of the nurses referred me in the ER to him. She raved about how amazing he was and trust me he is exactly that! His staff is very compassionate and caring about their patient's needs. The appointments are easy and flexible and swift. He definitely knows his stuff and is a very ethical provider. I wouldn't dare switch and she's almost out of high school because he is someone I can trust with her health as if it's his own child. The girls are also so helpful and it's been plenty of times I needed last minute appointments because I took her to ER and wasn't at ease with the on call doctor and they got me right in and did their own evaluation and diagnosis. This doctor is in a league of his own and I promise you will wish he was a general family care medical doctor because people like Dr. Dikkala are hard to come by. Love, love, love his professionalism, ethics, and service. My child will be coming here until she is grown lol because I trust him and he is an awesome doctor that really cares about his patients.
