I have an extensive background in child psychology and was very impressed with this physician's bedside manner, her genuine concern for both baby and big sister and her affectionate demeanor with both children. She asked pertinent questions and gave easy to understand advice about breastfeeding, preventing diaper rash and caring for a stubborn umbilical cord that refuses to fall off. I was delighted that my grandchildren have such an amazing doctor right around the corner. I would highly recommend this physician to new mothers.

Jill Overcash in particular is the best physicians I have ever met in any specialty. She is consistently up to date on the latest studies which is less common than you would think. She and the other doctors are very warm and kind towards the children, very evidence-based, and very adaptable to your child and their particular needs. They don't go overboard throwing medicine at your kids, but when they do prescribe something it is very carefully considered and tailored for your child. They did a great job with our kids when they were babies and now that they are 7 and 4 they are adapting to them as they grow up and face different health issues. Our family has been sick a lot each winter and they have always been very helpful. I can't say enough about their practice. The only downside I can come up with is just be on time. They run a tight ship and if you are more than a few minutes late you'll get rescheduled. It's for the collective good but it's frustrating when it happens. We drive from Decatur to see them and it's well worth it!

You can tell this establishment does not over / double book their patients. In the two years we have been coming, I've never seen more then 2 other patients, besides myself, in the waiting room. We have seen Dr.Overcash for all of my daughters well checks. She is so attentive, has a calm voice, full of patience & a passionate bedside manner. My daughter use to scream & cry EVERY single visit, she was THAT child you could hear from 3 doors down. Now, she sits there quietly, listens well & has 0 tears. I appreciate the amount of time Dr.Overcash spends with her patients & their parents. She wants you to understand throughly & takes the time to explain any & everything you bring forward. For anyone who is upset with "long wait times"...understand that these doctors are dedicated to your child's care & make sure you have what you need before you walk out the door. Be thankful to part of an establishment that still has the mentality of quality over quantity!

I found Dr. Drake-Forte to be like a breath of fresh air, she listened to my concerns and explained that she was prescribing him an inhaler and was very knowledgeable on management of asthma. I can happily say that after being in Dr. Drake's care my child has been the healthiest he's ever been. Dr. Drake's knowledge in medicine and her compassion to help babies (and parents too!) will make any one feel secure in selecting her as their babies PCP. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care pediatrician. The office staff is very pleasant and I never wait to long for my appointments. If you want quality care with a truly wonderful doctor, go see Neil Groff. I now have ALL of my family members going to him, and all are very pleased with him. We have seen his brother for one visit. Both are good. Dr. Neil Groff has a more lighthearted, chummier bedside manner than his brother. That isn't to say that one style or personality is "better" necessarily - I just mention this so you will know which is better for you or your patient. Dr. Groff and his office have always been very accommodating to questions and concerns. The office accepts Medicare. The waiting room is pleasant and has patients from childhood through geriatric. There is not a 'Sick Child' section of the waiting room. There is a child's table but no toys, so bring your own or a coloring book & crayons. There is a large flat screen TV that usually has a Disney animated movie showing. On some days, Dr Marc Unterman, a cardiologist whose office is in Lawrenceville-sees patients at Dr Groff's Loganville office. This is very convenient! The office is also easy to find. Going east on 78, turn left on Lee Byrd Road, and turn into the small office complex on your right, just after the credit union. The doctor's office is on the right. If you need to drop off a FedEx package, there is a drop-off box in the rear of the parking lot.

The staff is always extremely friendly, and I've felt that our concerns are taken seriously at every visit. We typically see Dr. Hilton, who is knowledgeable and thorough. Today, we were able to get a same-day appointment for our 1.5-year-old, who was running a very high fever and was ultimately diagnosed with RSV. The nurses and doctors were incredibly caring, and we even received a follow-up call that evening from the doctor we saw, Dr. Passmore. Very happy with our care here!
