It honestly felt like they were teenagers and couldn't survive without social stimulation, and only with each other. Worst of all, instead of giving me helpful solutions (which I ended up finding myself), most of the "effort" they put into helping you is sending you home with a packet of exercises like a crappy elementary school teacher. They do the electrode stimulation thing but realistically that's the only thing that you would even need them for since they make you do it all yourself at home at the end of the day anyway. If I wanted to be told to exercise more as the only solution to my problems I wouldn't see a physical therapist about it.

Also super sweet! Thirdly I was given Amy who seemed newer to the practice but also seemed to know what she was doing. I became very sick and missed one of my appts. I made sure to call and let them know. The second time I had to miss an appt. Was due to my rides boyfriend having heart issues. Third missed appt my 7 yr old daughter got pink eye. Again I called them to let them know my situations. They said no problem to all of these! Out of the three months I had been going twice a week I missed one appt every month. To my horror I came in one day and they had taken me off the schedule with out my knowledge stating that because I had missed three out of thirteen of my appts. That I was terminated from their practice. Please be aware that they do not care about anything that happens in your life when it comes to LIFE HAPPENING none of it is excusable. And they will just take you off of their schedule. I was in shock that they had no compassion for any of it and the receptionist was very rude. I will not be going back.

Also, some of the staff have a very bad attitude. Not the kind of place that feels like a safe spot for an elderly person. My mom's roommate never left her bed, and none of the CNA's ever helped her do anything she just laid there watching a huge TV at full volume 24/7. My mom couldn't watch her own TV due to the noise, let alone actually get a goods night sleep. There is a litany of other problems that I won't get into, but this isn't a nice facility. It's really sad that these types of places that are mostly Medi- Cal patients get the short end of the healthcare stick. It's wrong that our country sends the message that it's ok to treat elderly poorly just because they don't have a bunch of money. The system is broken, and places like this are a direct result of that. It's shameful all the way around.

Our physical therapist, Steve O., was remarkable! On time to the minute on all 6 visits. He is extremely knowledgeable about hip surgery, and provided excellent, thorough, information and visual aids on recovering from it. To top it off, he is a great guy! Easy to talk to and ask questions of, with a great sense of humor. His last visit was today and we are going to miss him.

The nurses and PTs we have had (for hip and knee replacements) have mostly been very good - but…read morescheduling is a nightmare. The office staff is not at all helpful and they will not schedule visits until the night before. Once you have been assigned someone, you can communicate directly with them - but until then dealing with the office staff is just awful. For the knee replacement, they sent a PT to do both PT and nursing duties. This individual was not qualified for wound assessment/care, and removed the staples too soon resulting in the wound opening - and now we are facing another month of wound treatment. We have had three different "case managers" and the communication has been dreadful. Very disappointing - I would not recommend them.
