I chose Susi's for my wedding this past August. Susi Jackson, the owner is a great lady with a talent for flowers! Not only did she match my wedding colors, she did little extras to make the event everything we wanted it to be!! I highly recommend Susi's for any of your flower needs. read more

I really enjoyed working with Katie in planning the flowers for my wedding! She had great taste and was able to turn my ideas into reality. She laughed at my powerpoint presentation of of how I wanted the event to be laid out, but she executed it perfectly. Her styling was more natural and bohemian, which was much more my style. Susie's doesn't have a minimum, so it was great to work with them to stay under a budget. Katie worked with me on ways to keep my cost down and even let me provide my own vases! After looking at so many florists with strict minimums not returning my calls, they were a godsend. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Susi's for any wedding in the Santa Cruz/Monterey area! http://www.susisflowers.com read more

Dominica is such a wonderful person! From the time my mom and I walked in the flower shop, Dom welcomed us in and was soooo friendly! She created this beautiful arrangement and my mom absolutely loved them! Whenever we are in aptos, we will always come by to pick up our flowers from Dom! Thank you so much! read more

We recently had the pleasure to work with Katie to design and provide the floral decor for our daughters wedding (rehearsal dinner, pre-party, wedding ceremony and reception). The planning interactions and logistics were flawless and pleasant and their execution of the design was terrific. The provided gorgeous, creative and stylistically consistent arrangements. Their "day of" support was excellent even though they were implementing three wedding events simultaneously. In addition to being exceedingly nice and collaborative And delivering a great product and service, they did so with very competitive prices. We could not have been more pleased and recommend them without reservation. read more

It was a pleasure working with Katie at Susi's Flowers for our wedding flowers! I didn't have too many specifics outside of a vague color scheme and a few flowers/greens I knew I DIDN'T want, and Katie took those details and created bouquets, boutonnieres, and an archway garland that were all truly beautiful. Thank you, Katie, for helping make our ceremony special! read more

Susi's Fowers just provided flowers and dacor for my daughter's wedding at the Seascape Resort. Susi and Katie were a pleasure to work with and their flowers and arrangements were beautiful. My wife, daughter, son-in-law and myself highly recommend Susi's Flowers for all your floral and special event needs. They're the best! read more

Unprofessional. Won't work at my venue for obviously personal reasons and was totally rude on the phone. Lame!

Susi did my wedding and she gets one star added because she was god at working within my budget. She was able to do 7 BM bouquets and my bridal bouquet for $500. It was not the highest end, but definitely nicer flowers. No roses or carnations. So I started with a positive and now for allll the negatives: 1) She does not do email. Phone is really better for her, but thats hard for working women who cant make personal calls during the business day. 2) We finally met in person and went over my vision. She said she totally understood the vision, no problems. Well, when the flowers arrived on the day of my wedding they were not really what we had discussed. 3) Many of the flowers in the bouquets were WILTING and already turning brown when they arrived. My bridal bouquet was pretty much all brown by the end of the night. 4) I told her since I was such a small person, I needed a very moderate/medium bouquet, nothing too big. My bouquet was massive and is a monster in all the pictures. 5) I asked for a touch of pink in my bridal bouquet to separate me from all the BMS (we were all white-only). No pink on my wedding day =(. 6) When meeting in person she said I could "barrow" 7 square vases and river rocks no problem. Later on she pretended she had no idea what I was talking about and charged me for them. It was exorbitant, but thats not borrowing. Overall on my wedding day I was disappointed with my flowers, which is just a sucky feeling. I had to hide several uneven spots in the pictures so it didnt look dimply. I did not want to carry it around, and I did not save it. It was so brown it really wasnt worth preserving. There are so many variables on your wedding day, but flowers are so basic. Not something you should have to fret over. read more

Had Susi's flowers do our floral arrangements for our wedding on 9/12/15. We landed this place by luck. We had the pleasure of working with Katie who was amazing, her knowledge of flowers and what is in season is top notch. She made it really easy and also added special touches to our ideas. Seriously freaked out by the cost of flowers for a wedding but in hindsight they were reasonably priced and they surpassed our expectations. They made our wedding look and feel amazing. Some of our guests said the floral arrangement was something you see in magazines! We had so many compliments. I am so glad we picked Susi's and so happy we had Katie to work with. Thanks Susi's for being apart of our special day! We were impressed! read more

Went in today based on good Yelp and asked for a birthday bouquet. Pointed out a few flowers I liked, came back in 15 minutes and voila! The perfect, I mean PERFECT birthday bouquet. Super nice service. Definitely recommend! :) Update: Gave the flowers to my MIL and she said they were the "most beautiful flowers she's ever seen!" Wow, thanks Susi's! read more

I love Susi's Flowers! They did my wedding and it was so perfect! The color and design were the way I had always pictured it! I only use Susi's to send flowers as well. My friends and family always tell me how long they last and how beautiful they are. Thanks Susi! read more

This is the best florist in the county. They did the flowers for my sons wedding rehearsal at Shadowbrook and were spot on! Everyone commented on the arrangements and what a deal! They really know what they are doing. They also delivered flowers to my office regularly and for special occasions. Fabulous design and a great Price! read more

I'll have to come back and write more but all I can say is I love Susi's style in every sense of the word. My husband and I used her for our wedding at Seascape and I absolutely loved how she was able to cut past the BS that some florist put you through when planning a wedding and create an amazing atmosphere - to this day a photo of my bouquet is my screen saver and I have framed pictures of my table settings. read more

Katie was amazing and such a joy to work with. She caught our vision for our wedding flowers exactly. Every bouquet and arrangement was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend Susi's Flowers! read more

The flowers that Katie put together for our wedding were phenomenal and so much more than I ever expected! I came into the shop with a couple Pinterest photos and some vague descriptions of the look I was going for (I'm not a big flower person) and Katie instantly starting putting together ideas and types of flowers as if she could read my mind! I was amazed. The process from start to finish was incredibly easy and low maintenance. I even ended up adding a whole bunch of arrangements after our initial consultation, and even though the rest of our communications were via email (I live out of the Santa Cruz area), she nailed it! The first time that I saw our venue flowers was when I walked down the aisle and I was breathless. The arch, aisle flowers, and creativity with which she put everything together was stunning. I could not have been happier. We had so many guests taking photos next to the flowers and under the arch that Katie did, and received so many compliments on the floral arrangements. Thank you, Katie & Susi's Flowers! You guys did an incredible job. read more

I always call on Susi's to send flowers to my mother-in-law... We had a special request to send some dr. Pepper with her bouquet recently (long story, but very sentimental to our family). Well, they forgot the dr. Pepper, and when I called to ask about it, Susi apologized and sent a whole new bouquet and a bottle of Dr. Pepper to make up for it. It was so sweet, and shows they really care about their customers . Thank you again Susi! read more

This is a very overdue review for my wedding back in 2007. Overall, Susi was great to work with. The flowers were beautiful and smelled wonderful and of good quality even though we didn't have a large budget. She has a good sense of style and was able to tie everything together. I wasn't one of those people who had some grand vision of what my wedding should look like but she was able to ask my husband and I all the right questions of what colors and flowers we like to get an idea of our style. I also made some last minute changes maybe 2-3 months before the wedding, I can't remember. One of the changes was made and the other one wasn't on the day of the wedding. The change that we wanted the most was regarding the centerpiece and Susi did a great job replicating something we had seen from a magazine. The other change that I wanted was to make my bouquet more simple and be just roses so it would be different from the bridesmaids. That one didn't happen on the day of my wedding but that was ok. It was still beautiful and everything showed up on time. We didn't have any problems with borrowing the centerpiece vases and stones. Not sure if was due to the great help of my bridal party returning the stuff or the wonderful staff at Seascape resort. I would agree with other reviews that Susi doesn't communicate much with email. Phone or in-person communication works best with her. In terms of payment, there was no issue but strangely there was no requirement to pay prior to the wedding. I had to call and followup regarding when we needed to pay and it was kind of vague so we just decided to pay the full amount prior to the wedding to make sure the flowers showed up and then we wouldn't have to worry about payment during our honeymoon. Maybe it's just the laidback vibe down in Aptos? Overall, I was very pleased with Susi's services and would definitely recommend her. read more

Love this place! As a certified wedding coordinator I work with a lot of florists, when it came to my special day I knew who to call! Katie at Susi's Flowers was amazing to work with! Not only was she super sweet, but she was very professional and knew so much about floral and design. They took our vision and ran with it. Delivery and pick up were hassle and worry free as well, I didn't have to worry about a thing! I am so Thankful for all the work and passion they put into our wedding :) THANK YOU SUSI'S FLORAL!!! read more

Susi and her staff did an absolutely AMAZING job for my wedding. My bouquets and center pieces were perfect. I gave vague ideas and these ladies brought my vision to life. I could not have asked for better, the service, how personable the staff are made my wedding the day I always dreamed about. I would recommend Susi's to ANYONE for floral needs. Thank you thank you thank you ladies! read more

This is REALLY an over due review. My wedding was in 2001. It was supposed to be in 2002 but the 911 attack changed all that. My fiancé was in the Navy Reserve and he was being recalled. He had one week before he had to report to San Diego. So we decided to move the wedding up. We had 7 days to plan a wedding. The Seascape Resort said in view of the situation, we could have a wedding there on a week day. (something they usually don't do.) We went to the "usual" local Florist for the flowers and they said "no way". Susie was the only florist who would work with us and she didn't hesitate. Ultimately the flowers were perfect. Better than I envisioned when I had a year to plan. Susie's is the only florist I go to and I am always thrilled with the bouquets she creates for me. read more

Susis Flowers is amazing and every time I need an arrangement they are my first and only choice. That being said, when my now husband proposed I knew right away who would be doing our flowers. I can't put into words how amazing our flowers were. From my bouquet that literally took my breathe away when I saw it to the creativity and care that went into each and every arrangement I cant thank Katie and The rest of Susis enough. Not only were they great to work with but their talent with flowers, colors and textures truly shows. Thank you so much for being such a huge part of our wedding day and I will also always be thankful to be your continued customer. read more

Loved Loved Loved Susis! I was planning a baby shower, and at the last minute I emailed her- She is quick to respond and work via email, took very little description for what I was looking for and went above and beyond my expectations at a reasoanable price nonetheless! Cant beat that- Plus she opened for me to pick them up when it worked with my schedule, when she would have normally been closed. Now thats customer Service! read more

I worked with Susi for my wedding just a couple weeks ago. I brought her some ideas from Pinterest at our initial meeting and she was easily able to re-create what I wanted. She was responsive to my e- mails and I always felt very reassured that I had chosen a great florist. My arrangements and bouquets were beautiful! I highly recommend Susi and her staff! read more

A godsend. Simply put, I would have been miserable if it had not been for Susi's Flowers. She was not my florist, but when my florist completely ruined my bouquet (read review on Gorgeous and Green Events) Susi's Flowers was the place 2 of my friends stumbled into and saved my bouquet. She took the horrible bouquet, ripped it apart, and made a gorgeous bouquet for me that brought an immediate smile to my face. Without her, I probably would have walked down the aisle without a bouquet. read more

Susi is a genius and has a knack for understanding her clients. Our daughter wanted a very natural look and Susi's work on her wedding day was nothing short of exquisite. She really understood what was being asked and her work was just stunning; she captured the natural theme and all her suggestions for table decor were exactly what we envisioned. The bouquets were amazing as well and the one's we brought home lasted two full weeks! We even were able to plant the succulents that were inserted in the bridal bouquet! Susi's talent and creativity coupled with her ability to really listen and understand what her clients want is a gift to the community and any family considering a special event should seek this wonderful artist out! read more

Susi is such an awesome lady! Our wedding flowers were all SO BEAUTIFUL!! I was blown away, and so in love and enchanted when I saw them on my wedding day. When I met with her to go over our budget and talk about options, she made me feel so at ease. Not only was her shop stunning, and all the surrounding floral arrangements...but she was delightful, and fun! Just so sweet, and you can tell right away that she is the best florist you could ask for. The other thing that made choosing Susi's flowers so special for me, is that my two older sisters also used her for their weddings in 2008 and 2010! When I get photos, I will show them off! Thank you Susi! XOXO!!! read more
