looks like someone sat on it. my friend tried to pull flowers up a little so it didn't look like they were falling into the, too tall, container but stems were cut too short. this was called tropical and had only one cheap dendrobium orchid. It also had, eek carnations in it.....so sad... and to top it off there was no enclosure card to say who it was from.... this order was $171. Really bad work.... I received a bouquet of flowers on March 7 from my niece after having major surgery. The first thing my husband and I noticed is how some of the flowers looked aged and limp. They looked like they had been crammed in to a glass vase with no thought to arrangement. The glass base had a crack on the bottom and up the side but was not leaking. I was very please to contact a brick and mortar actual florist shop in D'Lily's Florist in Watsonville, CA where the flowers were going. I had a very disappointing/bad experience with an online florist the day before (who said they were local to Santa Cruz) they never delivered my order on the day they promised and never answered their phones for a follow-up as to why my order was not delivered. When I called D'Lily's Florist Satina answered the phone and she was very helpful and gave excellent customer service. They asked what I was looking for and the cost I wanted to spend and they even texted me a photo of the arrangement prior to their delivery. From the photo they sent the flowers looked very pretty and were what I envisioned. I also know that when some of the smaller buds open the flowers will even look more wonderful. I received the most beautiful bouquet from D'Lily's! Absolutely gorgeous combination of sunflowers (my favorites) and roses sent by my boyfriend. The flowers were delivered and wrapped in the prettiest white paper with a gorgeous gold ribbon bow. I wasn't home when they delivered, but they called my boyfriend to let him know and confirm that it was ok to leave them at the doorstep.
