It is always a leap of faith when ordering online. My expectations are pretty high but I relied on yelp reviews for this florist and the tellers were right. Sent flowers to my daughter. She loves flowers and can be picky with the kind of flowers. She texted me and said the flowers are gorgeous. It made her day. The flowers were pretty reasonably priced especially compared to other florists in town. Will I order again from them? Absolutely! read more

We loved working with Katie from Susi's Flowers. She was so understanding and friendly, and really felt like the only flower vendor that was able to work with us with what we wanted at our pricepoint. They're so flexible, and we were absolutely thrilled with the work they did. Personally I did not particularly value the flowers aspect of the wedding going into it, but I was so happy to have been proven wrong by Katie and Susi's Flowers, they were such a critical addition! read more

Stunningly Beautiful is the only way to describe the floral arrangements and wedding arch Susi's Flowers created for our son's wedding. I have truly never seen flowers so exquisitely arranged, creatively curated and impeccably presented with the most exceptional customer service. Katie Vidaurri was absolutely phenomenal throughout every step of the planning process. Her vision was like out of a movie. She enhanced our venue at Sand Rock Farm into a magical delight. Every single person I encountered that works at Susi's was extraordinarily kind and talented. Our family is forever grateful for the most exceptional floral design one could ever imagine and making our son's wedding spectacularly beautiful. I will post additional photos of the florals when we receive them from wedding photographer. read more

I live in Santa Clara and my Mother lives in Aptos. So on Mother's Day I wanted to send her a nice floral arrangement. I found Susi's and called them. I gave the lady my price range. I told her I wanted mainly pastel colors and the type of flowers. I paid over the phone. Susi's made it easy to do business. On Mother's Day I called Mother and she was very pleased. She took a picture and sent it via email. The value, the selection, and service were all on point. read more

They have the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen. My client was gushing over what she received from us. Will use again.

this cost us $200+. Not happy. it was a gift for our boss....not impressive. The communication is very poor if all your doing is ordering flowers to be delivered. The status said it wasn't delivered, but it was, and then I got an email a few days later saying it was just delivered...weird. read more

Absolutely gorgeous flowers. I gave them completely artistic control over the last minute (literally called a day before the event) bridal bouquet and they knocked it out of the park. Wonderfully fragrant, beautiful colors, from the rich purple to the brilliant orange of a Monterey sunset with a bit of winter needle underlayer. This phone photo can not capture the beauty that is this beautiful bouquet!! read more

My daughter was having her sweet sixteen and I wanted to make it special by having a beautiful flower arrangement sent to our house. Her birthday was in December but I wanted it to not be holiday themed. I also didn't want a cheesy hot pink sweet sixteen. They ABSOLUTELY came through!!! It was exactly what I wanted. It was honestly the most beautiful arrangement I've even seen. It had a feeling of Paris if that makes sense. My daughter was very surprised and loved the arrangement. This is long overdue, but Susi's Flowers went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding. Before the wedding, Katie had invited us to the shop to discuss what our vision was, what we were looking for, and to get a sense for our wedding vibe. Katie was an absolute professional and made our lives so much easier. It was very difficult to get ahold of wedding vendors, so we were a little stressed about making sure all the details came together. When we met with Katie, she asked so many good questions and had solutions to offer when we didn't have answers or ideas -- again, she was our FLORIST! Not our wedding coordinator or supplies vendor. Votives? She's got them. Oh, you don't like your linens? How about these perfect runners that you've been searching for this entire time? We really showed up to the shop expecting to talk about flowers, but Katie took so many things off of our to do list. Okay, the day of the wedding, Katie showed up and got to work without us involved. She's a professional and just did what needed to be done. We gave her a lot of discretion and she executed. Susi's Flowers made incredible arrangements and florals. Everything looked amazing and we could not be happier with how everything looked! Our arch was breathtaking! Not only were we thrilled and delighted, but so we're our guests -- we received so many compliments! Susi's Flowers made our day so much more magical. Absolutely incredible work! Thank you! read more

Katie, owner of "Susi's Flowers" is AMAZING! Katie and her team were our florists for my daughter's wedding. They made gorgeous bridal party bouquets, flower girl floral crown, ceremony and reception floral arrangements, wedding arch décor arrangements, cocktail table bouquets, dessert table décor, memory tables décor and so MUCH more! The result was stunning! Exceeded our expectations! During our first meeting at Katie's shop, I happened to share that we were in a dilemma because my daughter's dream was to have the traditional French wedding cake, a "Croquembouche Pièce-montée." The problem was that the only French pâtissier anywhere near the wedding venue was over an hour away and could not provide delivery at that distance. Not expecting anything more than a sympathetic ear to our disappointment, Katie immediately said she could send one of her drivers to get the cake and deliver it to the venue since their floral trucks are set-up to keep flowers fresh, hence could do the same for a cream-puff tower! My daughter and I were speechless! Such incredible kindness! Katie made the most exquisite large floral arrangements for the circular "arch" used at the ceremony. The flowers she used provided the perfect color contrast to the sequoias in the background and the white guests chairs. Katie also provided beautiful votive holders and an array of candles of 3 different sizes which, incorporated with her centerpieces and additional greenery, turned the reception terrace into the most romantic and elegant setting! Additionally, Katie provided baskets to hold sun parasols and programs, and several chic serving trays for the petits-fours. In addition to her artistic gift, Katie has such a fantastic personality. She is a very passionate, energetic, and creative florist; an absolute delight to work with. Not only did Katie surpass our dream vision, but she did it within the budget we initially offered up. On the day of the wedding, Katie and her team were extraordinary: extremely efficient, discreet, paying attention to every detail. The result was perfection. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue looked - every bit of it had Katie's magic touch! We wholeheartedly strongly recommend Katie and her team at "Susi's Flowers"! read more

I called to order flowers for my friend's birthday and I can't tell you how perfect the arrangement is! When asked what I wanted, I told the girl on the phone that I didn't have any specifics but that I trusted her to work off this vibe: my friend is a summery, bright, mermaid fairy princess. Called them on Tuesday 2/22/22 around 11am and asked if they had any red roses for that night I was going to propose. They told me no they were all out, but they said let them check with their grower and they would call me back within an hour. With in an hour they called me back and told me they can get it from their grower. I asked if they could have it at shadowbrook restaurant by 4pm and they said that would not be a problem. When we got to the restaurant the most beautiful bouquet of red roses was waiting for my girlfriend. Susi's flower shop went out of their way to make a special day even more beautiful. It's been over a week now since I got the roses and it still looks very fresh. Thank you so much for everything. Oh and by the way she said YES. read more

Can't say enough good things about Susi's flowers, and especially Katie! Our wedding flowers turned out beautifully. I must have changed my mind about the color palette and flower choices three or more times yes, but Katie never showed frustration with me period for that I am grateful. At one point two weeks before my wedding, I wanted to change my flowers to all white and green... Katie emailed me back and said I was crazy! She knew I loved hot pink and fuchsia, and gave me other reasons why a monochromatic wedding would not be beautiful. She talked me out of what I thought I wanted, because she knew my personality and excitement for different flowers. My husband put me in my place, and said nobody should have to put up with my indecisiveness for months on end, and therefore Katie is a saint. In addition, Susi's flowers is the only place in Aptos without a minimum for a wedding. They don't have package deals because each woman's wedding is unique and special. This is the only place I'll go for any other event I host. I hope, with all the changes around where the business is located, that Susi's is around forever! read more

Susi's flowers did the most amazing job for our wedding this past June in Monterey! We absolutely loved the way everything came together. After receiving our pictures back we love how they make every shot pop! Katie was wonderful to work with from the start - we had an in-person consultation and she asked a ton of questions to really get an idea of how we wanted our day to be. She walked us through her vision and we really liked everything about it. As we got closer she sent over some pictures for us to get a better visual as well, and she really worked with us on changes to make to get us closer to budget. On the day-of Katie was outstanding - she was perfectly on time and set up all the bouquets in vases in the hotel bathtub so they would stay fresh! She also helped tremendously by putting all the boutonniere's on the groomsmen and dads. Highly recommend Susi's flowers for your wedding if you want amazing service and beautiful flowers at a reasonable price. read more

If there were ten stars, I'd give them that. Wow. After trying a number of other florists in the area looking for a very particular kind of arrangement and being told it couldn't be done, I finally tried Susi's Flowers. I was lucky to get Debbie on the phone and explained to her what I wanted. Like other florists, she initially described why what I was asking for was challenging (out of season flowers) but unlike other florists, she then went into brainstorming mode. Within moments, she'd come up with a solution that required her to go above-and-beyond a bit, but it perfectly addressed my need brilliantly. She asked if she could call me back in a few minutes to see if what she'd come up with was possible. 15 minutes later, not only did she call back, but she'd already worked out the necessary logistics to create the arrangement and have it delivered. She took my information, wrote the card accompanying the flowers, and lined up same day delivery. Amazing. As a small business owner, I often rely on the creativity of florists all over the country to create unique thank-you gifts for clients and guests. Based on this extensive experience, I would say that Susi's Flowers--and Debbie in particular--is the best of the best. read more

If you want to be thoroughly disappointed. do pick Susi's Flowers. I selected this florist to make and deliver a floral cross to my cousin's memorial service. I had several discussions with the staff prior to the date as this was VERY important and I wanted to make sure it would be beautiful and meaningful. Well, I'll never know as no floral cross appeared at the service. I received no call advising me there was a problem! Afterwards, when I could see for sure that my arrangement didn't show up, I called Susi's to ask what happened. I got a pretty casual, nonchalant answer about their just realizing they dropped the ball because they had a big wedding and some big in-house event and my order fell through the cracks. No heartfelt apology. Just an ooops. I was devastated as my cousin was very important to me and I knew a cross would mean a lot to her husband, children and grandchildren. They just overlooked my order! The apology was half-assed as if I should have understood the demands of a busy florist. Well, I didn't. I've never ever had a floral no show. Ever. I asked them to send apologies to my cousin's immediate family so they'd know I tried to honor my cousin. Again, nothing! Susi's just doesn't seem to care. So order but know they may have priorities that will prevent your order from being executed. Never again will I order from Susi's in Aptos! They are inept, uncaring and unprofessional!!! I gave them one star because it seemed my review wouldn't post without this. They deserve no stars! Susan Peters read more

I worked with Susi for my August 2015 wedding. I couldn't be happier with the results. She has an eclectic style (check out her website and Pinterest pages). My bouquet lasted the whole day and the flowers smelled beautiful. I rented milk glass bowls from her for center pieces and she suggested I put peaches in the bowls, great idea! She also created a beautiful wreath for us to hang at our tree "alter." She worked within my budget and was a great pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Susi's Flowers. I hired these guys to do flowers for my wedding a couple months ago, and I worked with Katie. If I knew then what I know now, I would have gone with a different company. Throughout the process, all my emails took over a week to be responded to- often I had to follow up with a phone call (or several) before anyone got back to me. Frustrating and unprofessional. A week before the wedding, we have finally had our last 'detail refinement' chat and Im waiting for a final quote. Very important when it comes to wedding budgeting (at least for me). I ask for this quote several times, no response. Day of the wedding, Katie arrives at the venue/bridal suite with the flowers. The flowers are lovely! Katie's attitude is not. I find her unaccommodating, snippy, and she snaps at me when I ask about the final quote. She writes prices on an envelope for me. Everyone in the room commented on her sour attitude and the negative energy lingered after she left. The groomsmen said they had a similar experience with her, too, everyone wondered what her problem was. Sorry Katie, I found you to be unprofessional and your vibe put a damper on the happy atmosphere- which was a big deal! Two stars because the flowers were very pretty. read more

I cannot rave enough about the rehearsal dinner and wedding flowers from this florist, with Katie totally 'getting' the aesthetic for each event. I wanted something totally different for the rehearsal dinner than for the wedding, and she nailed both. Flowers make a huge impact at a wedding, and the costs can certainly add up, so trust that everything will be perfect is key. The arrangements, bouquets, etc. were fresh and full and exactly what we all wanted. I just let go of the last surviving parts of the centerpieces, which lasted 2+ weeks. We don't live in the area, so I hope I do get to use Susi's and work with Katie again some day! read more

Susi recently did the flowers for my wedding at the Holly Farm, and I was very happy with everything she did. We didn't need to do a lot with flowers (and I didn't have a huge budget for it, either) but she made the most of what we had. She made my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets and a really pretty garland to use in our ceremony area. I also didn't want to spend money on center pieces, and she worked with us to create pretty vases that we could just drop the bouquets in after the ceremony. Anyway, she's great. The flowers were beautiful, inexpensive, and exactly the style I was hoping for (with very little direction from me). I would hire her again in a second. read more
