This is the first Japanese restaurant Ive been too that serves sushi rolls without rice. I thought it couldnt be done and I was glad to see it was possible. I cant remember the name of the rolls I ordered but one was wrapped with cucumber and the other was wrapped in seaweed and deep fried. I was able to enjoy my rolls without worrying about going overboard on the carbs. The hubster ordered a spicy tuna roll and a Mexican roll and those were good too. We also ordered sashimi. They were medium sized, not bite-sized or the typical larger slices. Fair enough. The customer service was good and there was even complimentary green tea. While the food has always been good the fact that 75% of all pickup orders done online are no less than 15 minutes late and upwards to 40 minutes late is appalling. We have tried to have conversations with them many times and every single time we get the same response. We can't control how busy we get after the online order comes in. There's nothing we can do. At no point did an owner or manager ever reach out to us. Well that is simply not true, you could have your web designer create a better system OR don't give a timeframe online rather send out a text when the order has been started signaling a 15-20 min pickup window. Instead they chose to ignore loyal customers and carry on with a bro system.
