Nice surprise running into this spot at the mall, I hadn't seen this type of eating experience since I last visited Japan. I love the idea of speedy service with good food, the quality of the food was incredible with plenty of options available even for someone with a shellfish allergy. The environment is a bit loud since it is in the middle of the mall walkway but worth the experience if you've never tried this.
Stopped by here to try their sushi and it was very good. Service was a 5/5 and food was a 4/5. I would have liked to see other roll options, but the salmon was very fresh and a place anyone could go and enjoy great quality sushi in a mall setting.
Conveyor belt sushi is always so fun. This business model works for sawgrass and the location in a fork of the road between wings of stores is perfect to catch your eye on the sushi moving. The price point is not bad, but not incredible but you're paying for the visual luxury and grabbing a bite or full meal if you want to. It's cute, the waiter was friendly. We'll be back, and also happy to see lots of business there so sushi was fresh.
A really unique sushi eatery in the middle of the Sawgrass Mills Mall. The sushi items are on a conveyor belt moving in a full circle to choose your delight. Most items are in a four piece clear plastic container for about $5.00. They also offer full seating with a waitress. The sushi is freshly made on scene. The decor is very streamline.
I often come here before heading over to a Panthers game. This does the trick. The spicy tuna sandwich (sushi shaped like a sandwich) is truly delish, along with the salmon tacos. My issue with this place is that you'll see the same two dishes coming on the conveyor belt. It's often cream cheese based dishes and as someone who doesn't eat dairy, I find myself having to order which obviously takes longer than just grabbing the dishes in front of you. The dishes are very small (half rolls) and still go for $6-8 a plate.
A fast and fresh sushi location located inside Sawgrass Mills Mall. Good price point with most plates go for about $5.00. Getting to hand pick your options as the conveyor belt moves along is very convenient. The also have a full menu and the staff is friendly. Many great options and all delicious.
Although I generally avoid the conveyor-belt sushi plates, the made to order items have always been pretty solid. Mind you, it's not the best sushi you'll ever have, but it's definitely average quality or slightly better. The service is always fairly quick and friendly. We've also never had trouble finding a seat at the counter. The booths tend to fill up, but there's a ton of seats around their large counter area. The mall is typically bustling and a little noisy and this restaurant is in the thick of it all. That being said, I've never felt like it was too loud or that we couldn't have a conversation easily. I've been here before and know I'll be back. It's probably the most convenient spot to grab a bit when walking through the mall and is a step above the food offerings in the food court in my opinion.
This small kiosk is located in the Sawgrass mall near the Forever 21 store. It's the best space for those who are shopping and need a quick stop to eat. The variety is great but some dishes are a little overpriced, as some sushi are portions of 4 units, I think $7.00 is too expensive. This time we ordered the udon soup, the portion is good but the broth is not the best I've ever had, perhaps because it was almost the time the mall was closing it came warm and not hot as it is more enjoyable to eat. I also ordered a Poke Bowl this time, and the portion was very good, I only managed to eat half of it. There is a lot of salmon and tuna but you need to season it to have a good flavor. The attendant was very kind and helpful.
Sushigami is a sushi bar right in the middle of Sawgrass Mall. After shopping fir several hours, 16 year old and I were famished. sushigami still has their conveyor belt with covered items. You can also order from off the menu. At the beginning, it seemed like there were very few items available on the conveyer belt but more came around eventually so we did not order from the menu. The sushi was decent. My favorite was definitely the tuna and salmon tacos. The prices are definitely high. A quick lunch for two ended up being almost $70. I would probably visit the food court next time.

Not too bad, even for the price. The most expensive plate on the conveyor belt is $6 which isn't bad, but it does add up quickly. There are only about 2-4 pieces of sushi per plate so to feel full it will be $60-$80 to feed a party of two. When compared to a normal sushi restaurant the price is pretty average. The fish is good, not great sushi quality, but decent. The rolls seem to have a lot of fillers instead of fish and the rice was pretty dry on most rolls. It's a fun place to eat, but it is in the middle of the mall so everyone walking by may ruin the ambiance for some. We didn't see a variety of options on the belt unfortunately until the end. Definitely need to wait a bit before choosing anything to see everything available. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the experience. Fun to go to every once in a while.
I always want to like this place. It's convenient, unique, and the food isn't terrible. The big issue for me here is the cleanliness. The sushi really sits out for long periods of time not just on the conveyor belt, but also waiting in the prep area to go on the belt. Every time I go here there are flies around and the tables are sticky from spilled soy sauce since they serve it in flimsy plastic cups. They use a rag that stinks to wipe the table. Idk, the whole time I'm there I just feel dirty. It really ruins the experience for me every time. But hey, I keep coming back when I'm dying for food during long shopping trips, so there's that. It's also SO overpriced. On some plates they charge $4.50 or $5 for just two pieces of sushi. You can definitely get more for your money pretty much anywhere else.

Its a good and fun way to take a break in the mall, sit down, a few lite bites to eat maybe some Sake and get back to shopping. Its just cool. Hit and run spot..Dont over think it. read more
I loved getting a bite to eat while shopping at Sawgrass Mills and be entertained by the moving carousel and let my eyes do the deciding for me. The size is 4 pieces, or a half a roll, and the prices are determined by the color of the plate. The two I selected were $6, and the range is $3 to $6. The volcano roll was a feast for my eyes, and what a huge mound of tasty seasoned Krab meat! Then I went for the spicy tuna sandwich, which had plenty of tasty spicy tuna. They also have for dessert the kicked up donuts on their really long conveyor belt, from the vendor across from them, or you can get a 10% discount at the donut booth and pick from a bigger selection. I really enjoyed my snack, and most definitely would stop here again. read more

The place is a nice gimmick but it's not worth the money. They recently went up on the prices so the most expensive plate is now 8. The prices are 4.50, 5, 5.50, 6, 6.50, 7 and 8 dollars depending on the color of the plate. Most of the rolls worth trying are $6 and up. Four almost basic pieces for $8 is just not worth it. Also consider there is not a lot of variety. And the tab adds up quickly. This is something I did every several months, but with the new price structure it's just not worth it, even for the gimmick of the conveyor belt. read more

I've had the pleasure of both eating inside the restaurant, as well as ordering takeout through Uber eats - both times have been extremely satisfactory. At the restaurant, it is conveyer belt style and you pay by plate, they are priced by color. Prices are great and the sushi is worth it. I wish they had a little more variety, so I can continue to try different rolls. Through Uber eats I ordered, rainbow maki, typhoon Maki and a miso soup. All the toppings such as ginger, wasabi, eel sauce and spicy mustard come in separate containers. 10/10 will recommend read more

Running sushi has really caught on, and you can't help but be drawn to it if only to just stare at food going around in circles. Sushigami is placed strategically well in the mall, right in a centralized atrium at the end of Avenue 3 (the blue one) where 2 different sections connect. I was walking and the circulating sushi caught my eye, then staring turned to looking at the menu, then looking at the menu turned to sitting down and ordering. I feel like this has probably happened to many people. Must be so easy for them to get business. Although there's sushi and more things like desserts (brownies, etc.) on the conveyor belt, there are also items from the menu that can be ordered. I got 3-piece Chicken Gyozas (Japanese dumplings). They weren't worth the $4.50, too generic and felt weak. I knew the specialty here was the sushi, so I picked the "Simon" off the belt, which had chicken katsu (breaded fried Japanese chicken), crab, avocado, cucumber, sesame seeds, eel sauce and spicy mayo. It was FANTASTIC. Completely worth the $5 and made me wish I didn't get Gyoza and tried another sushi instead. The price labeling here is cool. Every price point has a different color, so whatever color the plate is on the conveyor belt, is the price of the sushi or other dish. The prices are listed in a chart above the belt and in the menu. First time. It's actually pretty cool to try out. I just never really tried it before even though I'm at sawgrass all the time and also because I don't like sushi. This is literally situated right across forever21 in the middle of the mall. Mostly high chairs for seats and probably about 3 of 4 booth seats. You sit anywhere you'd like and get started. I really love the concept. You grab whatever you like from the conveyor belt that goes around. Food already made! No waiting on no one. There's just something mesmerizing I guess about food placed on different colored pastel plates on a moving conveyor belt. Looked like a mini sushi factory. Felt like I was in a real life Japanese food and time management game. The color of the plate signifies the price of the food. I personally thought the prices were pretty affordable and reasonable. Ranging from $3.00- 6ish. Their most popular one was the crab salad sushi. I had it and it was delicious. You can't miss it. It's like a mountain of shredded crab "meat" and stuff lol on top of sushi. Overall it was cool. definitely encourage it. read more

This is probably some of the best mall grub out there. I had some sushi and the lovely and original beet and avocado salad. It was a little crazy and my bill was messed up but it was definitely worth the stop. read more

4.5 stars!! I really, really like this place a lot. This is my go to place when I want a quick Sushi fix. What more can you ask for fresh Sushi going around on a coveryor belt and the plate are priced according to the color of the plate. You really have to take your time and order wisely because what seem like a cheap value can add up to be a pretty pricy meal, or you spending more than you expected real fast. I have been here three times and I usually stay under $20 and leave pretty satisfied. Not only do they have the rolls going around on the belt, but they have a full menu of soups, other rolls, desserts and small entrees. If you want good sushi, fast and willing to brave the chaos at Sawgrass give this spot a try. It is located in the center of the Mall across from Forever 21. So if you go in near Bed Bath and Beyond I think it is you will be close to spot. read more

Karen the manager just stood in front of us lying to us. Her own employee just said it's not chicken Katsu it's a misprint. The food is gross and old. I hope I don't get sick from this sushi. Karen just came back saying she took it off my bill but please don't post this. Wow I told her then fix the signs and the books. She said they have been open 3 yrs and they will change it she promises. Really! I'll never come back and I certainly don't recommend! Stay away!! read more

The sushi was delicious. We went here 10mins after they open which was 11:30am. There wasnt any sushi on the conveyor belt beside california roll. More sushi started rolling out soon after. The price is a bit high for only 4 pieces of sushi. Each plate contains 4 pieces of sushi. The plate is color coded for the price (light blue is $3, blue is $3.50, pink is $5, red is $6). The waiter was nice and attentive to our needs. I like the concept of the sushi on the conveyor belt but I don't know if I feel comfortable coming here toward the end of the day because I wouldn't know how fresh the sushi are. My rating is actually between 3 & 4 stars. read more

This place is a nice one to bring friends and eat casually in the middle of a mall. It's fun to grab the plates from the moving belt but they also have a separate menu with more items. The price varies on each color that you select. The most popular ones are the volcano and the ones in the purple plates. I was surprised because they once had plated donuts from the business that is in front of them. The picture shows a salmon sashimi, it was worth the try! read more
I love Sawgrass Mills Mall (once I have found parking) I love the idea of a sushi conveyor belt restaurant in the middle of the mall! The dishes are well displayed and tasty. You can walk by, look at the dishes, pull up a chair and enjoy. Diners can also order off the menu. read more

I'm a firm believer that towards the end of the night a food establishment should always give good quality food and service as much as possible. Having been at the other end of the spectrum getting closing work and side work done as soon as possible is also an important point at the end of the night as well. My daughter and I were looking to snag a bite to eat after a long day of work, school, and a "make up" shopping trip since we were to busy yesterday to get her shopping completed. If I would have known it was an hour before closing time we would of definitely just got across the mall and went home. But tired, thirsty, and starving we made a pit stop to Sushigami where previously we have had a great time. Service was a little slow in Sushigami's defense I think the server was new. My three year old and I had to use the restroom and the whole time after that the server was trying to pull the check like we weren't going to pay. Some of the items that were labeled spicy actually weren't. This place is awesome with a few things that you don't have to missed out on than if you were to go to an actual sit down sushi establishment green tea, saki, mochi, and even ramune. The plates range in price depending on the color and of course it's always fun due to the conveyer belt running throughout the seating area. Awesome location next to Avenue three and in front of Forever 21 and a bathroom close by which is a must at Sawgrass. I'm sure another trip at the sawgrass will land us at Sushigami just now we know NEVER go towards closing time. read more

If you are at sawgrass mall and would like a snack it is worth to check out. They have a conveyer belt that moves plates of sushi around the restaurant. Each plate had a color to represent the price. The price ranges from 3.50-6.00$ There is a waiter and they will bring you your drink order and a menu. You can order from the menu as well. Each plate of sushi is four pieces which is smaller than the average roll. It is located in phase three of the mall next to its sugar. read more
Great concept for a mall, because it's so easy if you're in a hurry or just want a snack rather than a full lunch (but a snack that's healthier than a pretzel or slice of pizza). My first instinct was that the small plates were overpriced, but a plate of sushi here has 4 pieces for $3 - $5.50. A full roll at a restaurant would be double that portion, and if you doubled the price $6 or 7$ would be pretty standard for a basic roll. So, not a bad deal. The rolls piled with crab meat and fish looked like a generous portion. I tried the veggie roll and a California roll, both were average. You can also get edamame, soups, salads and gyoza made to order. My only concern with this place is how long the sushi is sitting out, and if the staff has any way of keeping track of this. I couldn't find any time stamps or other indicators on the plates. I reassured myself that the turnaround time in a busy mall must be pretty fast, but I hope they have some type of system in place. Even though the food didn't blow me away, I thought it was a great option as far as mall fare goes. I'd love to see this concept expand. read more
Decent. Sushi goes around in a conveyor belt and is priced by the color of the plate. They continously make fresh sushi for the belt. If you don't find what you are looking for, you can order things from the menu. Most of the good items tend to be light pink/pink which is the most expensive plates ($5-6), which comes with 4 pieces. Really basic rolls like a simple salmon roll will come with 6 small pieces, i think this was a purple plate ($4). It sounds super cheap, but I usually end up spending around $40 for about 4-6 plates (most have 4 pieces per plate ) with 2 sodas & tax and leave kinda hungry still. Sooooo I never do Sushi in a mall. But there is a first time for everything. First clue it was a good place, busy busy Next clue I asked a nice lady had she eaten here before. She had stated it was good. Pulled up a chair and Manny answered all of my questions. Sitting here I could see the whole staff works this way, which in my book speaks to great leadership. Great spot ! Was walking by after some shopping and wanted a coffee, the manager Shai approached us very attentive and greeted us professionally. Even though we just wanted two coffees because we had eaten , we were treated in the best way . I'll definitely will be back for some more of this place next time . read more

Great fresh and ready Sushi right inside the mall! Best thing, you dont have to order, just sit and start grabbing the plates of the sushis you want to eat. Eat to your heart's content then pay for the plates. Plates are color coded and the prices are displayed somewhere. Great idea to have something like this inside the mall. read more

This was a cool experience. It was a grab it yourself sushibelt, and price was color coded on each plate. There were some dishes that you had to order with the waitress, but overall, you grabbed it yourself. The sushi I tried was tasty, I have no complaints:) read more

Honestly their sushi selection is lacking. Portions are small so it's easy to rack up prices by ordering many plates. Service isn't that great. Kind of slow. In the middle of the mall and they have a conveyer belt so the restaurant is different in that sense. They do have mochi on their menu for dessert. read more

Let me first tell you an amazing deal for sushi, if you wait until 10 pm all sushi's plates cost $1 dollar. The volcano was my favorite, bittersweet taste.! The service is not that good, some waiters are super nice other ones are not. But if you get the deal for 1 dollar its worth every cent. read more

I went here today with a friend, it's located in the Sawgrass Mills Mall if you're coming from the Target entrance, going past the section with Ben Sherman, Levis, Express (the top stores I go to lol) and what is this sitting almost in the middle of where the Dippin Dots used to be? SUSHIGAMI! For those unfamiliar with the kaiten (conveyer belt) sushi concept, sushi is placed on different colored plates (which represent varying prices) which by way of conveyer belt (duh) move throughout the dining area. You're given a menu and on it is a legend which indicates whether something is spicy, cooked, vegetarian, must be ordered via your waiter/waitress, and what color represents what price...ranging from $3.00-$7.00 The nigiri (sushi) I believe are all two pieces each. I had the squid, yellowtail, and for sashimi I had four pieces of albacore in ponzu sauce. Each had some garnishes like jalapeno, yuzu pickle relish, etc. My friend had a roll 4 pcs, (I forget which), edamame, yellowtail nigiri, inari (fried tofu with what looked like spicy guacamole) nigiri. As for the quality...I think you pay more for the concept and convenience. Not gonna lie, I'm biased because I get free sushi elsewhere and I've had melt in your mouth sushi in NYC. As for a quantity/quality/price evaluation, that's up to you to decide against what other sushi place you normally frequent. Personally, if I had my regular places for sushi, I'd go elsewhere. If I'm in the mall though, I'd go for a quick bite. That said, I like the different garnishes and variations on the sushi/sashimi. The service is quite helpful too. read more
