The food (sushi) is delicious. I ate dinner here. Three rolls filled me up! It's a very calm atmosphere with kind employees. The host welcomed a couple and knew how many weeks it had been since he'd seen them!

Sushi YA has been the spot for us since day 1. We are regular to Sushi YA and we always have had a great service and their rolls, teriyaki chicken entrees are always been on point. The ambiance of this place is always nice and it's clean too.

I've been on the hunt for a sushi place to take my daughter. We usually go for her birthday and yesterday was her big day. I asked for local recommendations in a mom's group and this place was mentioned more than once. I really liked that this place offers an All You Can Eat option, especially since we usually order 6ish rolls. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were seated immediately. Unfortunately the sushi bar was closed, so we didn't get the option to watch our sushi be prepared. There was a female waitress and a male waiter that were both helping us. The female was not friendly or helpful, even though I mentioned we were there for the first time. The male was extremely nice and we preferred him. Waiting time: We waited about 15-20 minutes for our food each time - and we were one of the first parties there. Keep that in mind, as they do get busy. We started out with 4 rolls - Snowball, Dancing Roll, Rock n Roll and New Happy. All were great and we were ready for more! Our next round, we ordered another Rock n Roll, Caterpillar and Hurricane. Also great rolls! For the 7 rolls and the AYCE pricing, we paid $42! I really liked the pricing and think we will be back. This was well worth our 20 minute drive!

All you can eat sushi and Vegetable Tempura (8 Pieces)

I really wanted to like this place but the quality of sushi is really subpar. For the all you can eat we ordered the Godzilla roll that was supposed to have albacore tuna in the middle. One of the pieces was all rice and no fish in the middle! And the rest had a tiny drop of canned tuna albacore! It was not raw. The presentation was beautiful but deceiving. One roll had tempura sushi in the middle but it tasted old. They also don't use the short grain sushi rice. We also ordered tempura veggies and all we were served was tempura sweet potatoes and butternut squash. There was no broccoli, onions, asparagus... or any other type of veggie. I typically avoid all you can eat sushi places because I know the quality is not as great but my friend wanted to come here. Also, on Saturday lunch they make you pay the dinner price. It was $25 and not worth it in my opinion. Hope this place can learn to make better tasting sushi. Not just sushi that looks pretty.

If you are someone looking for quantity not quality than come here. The food is what you'd expect for all you can eat, subpar. All of our sushi rolls tasted the same. The customer service wasn't great, the establishment is rundown, and the bathroom was dirty. It wasn't a horrible experience but we won't be coming back.

Good selection of sushi (not fun of rolls) fish is fresh, but they didn't give us all the fish we wanted cause we didn't finish ALL in our plate...I guess it's typical for all you can eat...whateffs

Some of the best Sushi in Davis County. Great prices and quick.

This was my go to place in Layton. Great selection for the pricing and very quick for service.

The tuna was still frozen when they brought it out. Avocado was already turning brown. The service was horrible.

The batter tasted like year old baking grease. They have a decent selection of sushi rolls, but the 2 I got sucked. Tiger eye, tasted like the cooking grease mentioned earlier. Barf I got a really spicy roll that was mid, but I'd never order again. I could go on, but I won't. Trust me, hard pass if you like sushi. Probably good if you're a high school kid that has never had sushi before. Sorry small business owner, but I was disappointed. The floors were dirty, none of the tables wiped clean. I hope things turn around.

After sleeping with a bucket on one side of my head and a garbage can on the other, this place deserves every last bad review that they will ever receive! Waited nearly two hours for a takeout order. I had absolutely zero issues with that, provided all of my detailed instructions were followed. I explicitly requested if they were going to charge me additional fees after my initial order total then to cancel the ENTIRE order! Not only was I charged additional fees to my credit card after the fact, my instructions weren't even followed! The most expensive item (especially since I was charged almost $5 extra for requesting lettuce) was the Dynamite Poke Bowl with rotten fish, rotten produce, saturated in sauce (that I explicitly requested ON THE SIDE), and most disgusting of all, warm creamy rice that was supposedly in their "homemade cream sauce". Absolutely nowhere in the description of the Dynamite Poke Bowl did it state it was going to have rice or give you an alternative option. Whatever is in that disgusting sauce should be retired and banned from the FDA! The supposed "fish" was all shredded barely there and nevermind I didn't receive the furikake with red onions that I was also charged additional for. The Kimchi was completely sour and opening the lid on the little cup you could smell the foulness. Yes, I did try a bite of everything that I ordered to leave an appropriate review. The Kurama Ebi (prawn) shows up with it's head and shell on which wasn't a big issue because I order seafood boils all the time. However, this poor prawn was all shell, no meat, and was discolored and mushy upon peeling. The Gyutan (beef tongue) was charred aplenty, but still impossible to eat because it was way too chewy and no amount of lemons were going to help it. I really was having a great day and that's why I thought I would be 3 for 3 and try this newer popular sushi restaurant and trust me, the pricey menu items certainly don't achieve the fresh experience that all of us Sushi lovers expect. Will never return and will forever be telling everyone about this horrible waste of time and money experience. And to think I actually left them a tip on top of the overcharges. Ha!

Hand's down, they have the BEST Unagi Don (Eel Poke/Rice bowl's) out of everyone that I have tried. And their quality always remains the same...it gets even better each and every time I visit. I really appreciate them for that:+) Tried a couple new rolls that both absolutely blew my mind in regards to quality and quantity. The Crazy Roll is absolutely insane in regards to deliciousness (+ spice) and has a soybean base roll which really gives it a whole other fantastic flavor altogether. Spicy Crawfish Avocado Roll is absolutely loaded with crawfish (and as someone who frequents restaurants with seafood boils, it waa a great pleasure to have delicious crawfish without the task of dismantling them). Another thing that I do greatly appreciate about So Delicious, is that when they tell you on their menu that a roll is "spicy", it actually IS unlike so many other competitors. The Soft Shell Crab Appetizer is another must to try which also blew my mind in regards to flavor and portions. The dipping sauce reminded me of a tempura dipping which just added to the ultimate flavor of the appetizer. Presentation as of late has been beautiful but I cannot help but say that the food tastes even better:+).
