There were a only few other costumers there around the time I went, but the track was fullllll of stuff. I saw an old sushi pizza on the track and ordered one (thinking they would make me a fresh one), he grabs one from the track and hands it to me... I asked if it could be warmed up at least. He sticks it into the oven and hands it back. The rice was stale and everything still tasted old. The chefs were still making rolls and filling up the track even when there were barely any costumers! Been going to this place off & on since it opened, but today was the last time. They were originally really good, but both quality & quantity have left the building. The fish on top of the rainbow roll is so skimpy it barely touches the fish next to it, and so thin you can see through it. The Nigiri is so small I am embarrassed for them. Yes that plate is "always happy hour" but even at 1.95 for salmon nigiri it is over priced. Rice tastes stale & wasabi was too aged out to add any kick. I was there for a Monday dinner. After a few stale plates it occurred to me that there was no a sushi chef making anything. A guy came out of the back once in a while to place on the track from a pile of pre-made plates. read more

This place is super authentic and cute! The interior is well done and I never would have thought that such a cute restaurant would be in there from the outside. This is by far my favorite sushi go round place in the Portland area. Compared to all the rest, this one rocks. I especially like their mussels, special rolls, and spicy Tina rolls. When they changed over to the "happy hour all the time" format, the rolls got smaller, but are still just as flavorful. I'm happy to see that the owner is succeeding in this location. He's such a nice guy, and makes sushi in this location. read more

I eat sushi often so im quite picky about it. This place was ok at best. The rolls are quite small. The flavor was good i suppose. The waitress seemed confused by what spicy mayo was despite the fact that they had it on several rolls. The spicy mayo was ok. Kinda felt heavy on the mayo. One of the rolls i tried was the volcano roll. They obviously seared the salmon while on top of the roll. Which is fine in most cases....but not when you have seaame seeds on it. All i could taste was burnt sesame seeds. Gross. Had to kinda pop em off. I also am pretty sure that she over charged me. I think she added an extra plate when cashing out.. so overall i would say this place was ok at best, i will definitely not be returning. read more

We moved to Beaverton about 7 years ago, but it took us forever to try out Sushi Track. We think this is a notch above the other places we have tried locally. We like that the inari is not overly stuffed with rice. It allows the tofu skin flavor to really come through. The music and the comfy seats that have backs really make a difference to us. For conveyor belt sushi, this place does the trick. Cleaner and just as cheap as the local Sushi land. The best way to get the freshest plates is ask for it to be made to order or grab it as the sushi chefs stick them on the belt. Then you know you are getting something that hasn't been traveled around the track 100 times. read more

I'm comparison to other sushi bars in the area, this one has been the least impressive so far. However it is not terrible. I'd give it about 2.5 stars actually. They seem to skimp out on the portion size compared to other places and they seem to go sparingly on the fish for the nigiri. We stopped in here for lunch one day, and it was our first time in a place where the sushi comes off a conveyor belt. Overall we liked it. Only criticism is that the menu should have a description of what exactly is in each dish- hub is allergic to avocado, and it would have been nice to know exactly which had it. To avoid any accidents, he had teriyaki chicken as his main dish, and tried any sushi I picked that did not contain avocado. I felt like we got a decent amount of food for the price- around $18 for both of us. I like that you can try a bunch of different foods! We will be back :) read more

So it had been years since I came by Beaverton Town Square, but I was on that side of Beaverton so I decided to see what changed. For years I remember this place struggling with small boutique ma and pa shops with about 4 places to eat at. Today most of the shops are gone with a few still hanging on but with a lot more places to eat and a lot healthier. I love sush,i and anytime I see a sushi on track and it' can't be to all that bad. And when it's as clean as this one is, it's an extra bonus! I was seated immediately and thinking it was new I was informed they'd been there for over 2 yrs. Anyway the other thing I was attracked to was the pricing. Everything from 11am till 3pm was only $1 to $1.50 and even better they didn't make you buy a drink... for me being on a budget, it just meant another plate or 2 of sushi. The reason I'm there in the first place! I was disappointed that the server went in the back and was there for a long time. Other then that I HIGHLY recommend this place. And I will be going there again real soon. P.S. my 11 yr old is a very picky eater, but he had no problem here. read more

As soon as I walked through the door it was on! This place had everything. The ring of fire sushi with crab and spicy jalapenos was my absolute favorite on the track. I ate so much I am now offically in a sushi coma. The staff was fun to chat with, very friendly. Sushi Track just opened up just a block away from my usual haunt, Marinopolis, so I was interested in seeing how the two sushi bars compared. I may give Sushi Track another try, but I don't plan on giving up on Marinopolis anytime soon. Sushi Track had much more variety, including a greater variety of alcoholic drinks. I found it difficult to order stuff that wasn't on the track, however, and a long wait for those items because there are few chefs and too far a distance between the chefs and many of the seating areas to be able to talk to them. The items that I ate was all much worse than at Marinopolis; even the rice and edamame seemed too mushy. (For the record, my dining companion thought what he ate was delicious so I guess the quality depends on what you choose.) I asked the waitress for inari, and she seemed unfamiliar with it, which is somewhat bizarre. After about 10 minutes, though, the chefs did give me some. Everything was .50 cents to $1 more than their Marinopolis counterparts, and the pricing scheme was more complicated. Plates come in similar colors and nothing is an even $1 or $2 but rather $1.65, $2.05, etc. Overall the decor and vibe here is much classier than at Marinopolis, but I miss the intimacy. read more

I will be honest, I haven't had great experiences at conveyor belt sushi spots so I shouldn't have been surprised by the lack of quality here. The reviews I checked were mixed and the website and photos looked great so we gave it a try and had hope it would be good. The hostess was very nice and I did like that I could see whole fish on ice and watch while the chefs prepared said fish. However at 6 pm there were only 2 others seated. A sure red flag even though it was a Tuesday. The couple plates we tried were of poor quality, tastes fishy and not in a delicious sashimi kind of way. The raw rolls and fish were too warm for comfort and the other options seemed to lack flavor and overall quality. We also weren't seeing much new sushi being added to the belt leaving us to wonder how long the plates rotation had been there altogether. In the end we cashed out and found a great local Korean place! Side note: it is easy on the wallet if you want quantity and don't mind forgoing quality. read more

This place never disappoints. My girlfriend and I go here any time we are looking for a go-round. The chefs will put in our order of fried calamari as we walk in (ask for spicy sauce). Make sure you order sushi pizza. And for 2 people spending $20 will get you both full. The staff is very nice. Food is always fresh, salmon nigiri is almost sashimi quality. Was clean and modern. Service was good. Food was very good and had many different types to choose from. Track moves faster than most which I liked. Few plates uncovered and chairs sit you high enough to see everything. Prices were normal...maybe a bit higher than most but I noticed almost all were four piece rolls.
