When I first arrived the parking lot was packed, & I was worried there may be a bit of a wait, especially since this was a spur of the moment stop so I didn't have a reservation. My server was very friendly & went over the menu a bit with me since it was my first time here, & I decided on doing the AYCE dinner that way I could try a bit of everything. I got some hot green tea as well as a bottle of Peach Soju. I got a whole pot for the tea, & the soju was served in a small ice bucket, which I thought was cool because I love to keep mine chilled! I started off with a couple appetizers & some sashimi, the presentation was amazing & the freshness of the seafood delicious! My favorite was definitely the Blue Fin tuna, & apparently I wasn't the only fan because they had run out of almost all of it which was a little sad but just means I'll have to come again to try some more lol. The sushi rolls were fantastic & rolled perfectly, my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach because I wanted to order 1 of every roll but after my fourth roll I could feel myself getting full & sadly had to stop there. I did order some fried oreos for dessert which just hit different when they are done in tempura batter, I love it! I am picky about my sushi and sashimi, but we stumbled upon this place a few months ago and we have been very pleased with the quality of the fish. The all you can eat menu is great! A bit limited as far as the sushi goes but still lots to choose from. My only complaint is that they will make no substitutions or allow you to change the rolls in any way. You have to pay full price for the roll if that's what you want. If it was busy, I understand, but this is a rule no matter when you come. The food is fresh and flavorful. The building is beautiful. Was so excited to try this place out ! The interior was super cute, very nice feel for a sushi spot. I was highly impressed with the quality of the fish here for all you can eat. Most out here suck, but this one was good. I started off with a lychee martini and got to say, it was the best one I've had yet. My favorite roll was the Hokkaido roll and was the reason I came here. It was great! My bf had the volcano roll and that was a great one too. I also ordered a spicy salmon roll, some salon sushi, ikura, scallop sushi, sweet shrimp, escolar and torched salmon. Omg I was impressed with the seared salmon, it was like butter. The scallop sushi could have been better tho, I wasn't sure if I receive the wrong thing tho because it didn't look like it normally does. The spicy salmon roll was so good! There apps on the other hand, were just ok. I had the Asian taco and tuna kurraka and I did expect more of a better flavor with those. The spicy edamame was not great to us either. Ordered all the sashimis available (see pics). The scallop was not fresh but the other seafood was not bad. It's interesting that the menu says sashimi or sushi but I think it's mid-labeled and should say "sashimi or nigiri." The torched salmon nigiri was my favorite. Eel was also pretty good. The cold tastings were pretty tasty, esp the tuna kurakka. The teriyaki steak was too dry. I don't recommend the Hokkaido roll but I didn't try the other rolls since we mostly wanted to try the sashimi. The edamame didn't blow my mind and I'm not sure I would recommend ordering this. Yakisoba is supposed to be dry but it's was too saucy. I wish they told us about the weekly special menu. We find out after we paid that it was part of the buffet (we saw the table next to use order items from that menu.) We tried all the desserts because they seemed interesting. Turns out I don't really like fried desserts. The ice cream didn't have the authentic matcha or red bean flavor, was too sweet. On the weekends, they charge dinner prices for lunchtime. Tried out this new sushi place on a friday night. The place was busy but not super packed. There was a wait list, for about 15' wait but no wait for the bar. They do not take reservation when we called in advance tho. We did not do the buffet option but the sushi for two. Food came pretty quickly and looked amazing. Fish was fresh and good quality. They also had steamed veggies no oil/butter which is hard to find in these ayce places (for ppl who are health conscious!). Yet another AYCE sushi spot literally steps away from another AYCE sushi place but this one is much much better. The inside is very nice and I like how there is more privacy for your party compared to the competition. The server was very attentive and ready to offer recommendations. The menu is smaller than koizi or ajisai but the options were all quality. Out of the sushi rolls none really stood out to me however the miso seabass and the torch salmon were so good I would come back for those two selections alone. The food presentation was great I loved that the sashimi was served on ice. I would say it is priced around the same as the other options in town and there is plenty of parking available. The desert portion of the menu had lots of options although the Oreos were not my favorite. I look forward to returning soon! read more
