I came in for an early dinner on a Friday and was promptly greeted and seated. Everything was very clean and well organized. I got the combo steak and shrimp teriyaki and it was quite delicious. Refills were quickly brought for my beverage. I look forward to coming back!

Shrimp tempura was delicious!

We got the all you can sushi dinner and it was well worth it! Definitely ask for Cici because she had great recommendations, told us the portion sizes and helped us not over order bc you get charged for any leftover food and we stuffed ourselves and ate everything! The food comes out in stages and the place was packed for dinner on a Saturday night! The restaurant was clean and so was the ladies restroom. Would definitely go back to try different specialty rolls and the tempura cheesecake!

Love this place and will definitely be coming back again. A friend and I came here for lunch and the place was packed, a little bit of a wait but worth it. Our server was friendly and helped us with the menu options. It can be overwhelming for a first time goer, so keep that in mind and have an idea of what you'll wanna get if that stresses you out. An AYCE without ever having to get up from your seat is great but can be dangerous - they'll charge you if you have too much leftover food so take your time and make sure you don't order more than you can eat! The quality of the food was top notch, no complaints. The variety they offer is nice and I'm excited to try out their dinner menu soon!

Service was atrocious. I can't lie I barely write reviews but when it gets to a certain point I just feel like It's needed to let everyone know. It's Tuesday during lunch time, my friends and I were sitting down for 25 minutes before I spoke up and we were finally given service. Another server came to us after our previously assigned server was "too busy" to even greet us and take our drink orders. I really don't want to be that guy but I am today. We sat around looking at everyone else just walking in get service, it wasn't really a good feeling can't lie. Given service around 30+ minutes after speaking up.

VERY GOOD all you can eat sushi! Great deal! 2 full pages of sushi and appetizers, rolls and desserts. I loved it. Great deal for kids too! We went for my daughters birthday and they do a great job with the birthday celebration! I love that you can order as much as you want. And it's all made to order! Very clean and spacious restaurant. Our servers were very sweet.

I had a great lunch here with a friend. We opted for the All You Can Eat pricing which included a soft drink and a I was very happy to hear that they even had a gluten-free menu. The vibe was clean and fresh, the dining room was massive. There was private dining areas and a full bar. I am excited to have this option available and I look forward to go back and trying more on the menu.

Gyoza!! I love these things, great sauce!!

I love this place...I usually hit it on Saturday, and I think all you can eat is "dinner" version on Saturday. Wait staff great, helpful...I generally like to sip sake awhile, take it easy, maybe watch stuff on iPad...they don't rush... I very much appreciate this and am becoming a regular here. It can get crowded later in evenings, but not too bad if you get there early afternoon on weekends. I highly recommend..food quality seems great so far, especially compared to the other sushi choices around Metairie...and more so if considering all u can eat varieties...

Whenever you first walk into Sushi Masa you are greeted by their friendly staff and the Ambiance really catches your eye. I love the decor and the designing of the entire restaurant, it's really amazing. Whenever I visit Sushi Masa, I always get the All You Can Eat. My go to rolls are the Nemo Roll, Baby Tiger Roll, Crazy Yellow Tail Roll, Yummy Roll, and the Bon Temps Roll. Oh and I can't forget my Spicy Kani Salad. I've had a lot of Sushi in my day, but Sushi Masa has the best Sushi I've ever had in my life. I look forward to going back to Sushi Masa again very soon!!

don't pass on theNemo roll!

I enjoyed my experience here. I dinned here a couple of weeks ago and we all ordered the all you can eat sushi menu. It is very similar to Sushi Nami that just opened within the last year further down Vets. There are certain things on the menu that are 'all you can eat' and you even get a discounted first alcoholic beverage. They do charge if you don't all of the food, something like .50 a roll, but that is understandable and also not a big deal since I can finish good sushi. And this was GOOD sushi. We had so many different types, but the BEST was the nemo. I will back over and over again for that nemo roll. So tasty. I loved the decor. I love our waiter James who was like some CIA agent, with his ear piece, staying on top of our order and keeping everything flowing smoothly. I will be back, no doubt.

Shaggy Dog and 225 were the best.

Food was great. Service was great. Will definitely be back soon. Shout out to Phillip, our waiter.

If you like AYCE (all you can eat) sushi, Sushi Masa is your spot. The place is quiet, nice, and just as good as their Baton Rouge location. Parking is easy as it's in a plaza, and if there's ever a wait you can browse around in the nearby stores. Service is pretty good and the food is a 10/10.

This place is the goat. It was so good. The AYCE goes hard but the house always win!

Combination fried rice (chicken, beef). Chicken had weird slimy texture.

After enjoying Sushi Masa in Lafayette, I was excited to try their new Metairie location. The inside was large and very nice with cute decorations. Very clean! We did the AYCE. Food was decent, but the wait time between our orders was pretty long (20ish minutes). I wouldn't recommend going here hungry, as eating a single piece of salmon and waiting so long for the next small plate was a bit ridiculous. We went on a weekday, so it wasn't particularly busy. I would rate higher if multiple dishes from our order arrived at the same time. With the time limit, I don't believe I got the amount of food to make the price (~$32/person) worth it, since again we waited for a long time between plates. Some of our food never arrived, so I hope for a better system in the future. Our server was very kind and attentive; I don't blame her at all as our food was served by others. She even allowed us to take home the food that didn't arrive during our meal!

This is a well-decorated Asian restaurant with great service, and quick cooking preparations. The…read moreestablishment itself is pretty large, and has separate dining rooms, in the event you reserve for a special/private event. I ordered from the "all you can eat" portion of the menu (which is a pretty large variety to choose from, and is not limited to just sushi). You pay one price for an adult ($33.99 on a Sunday), and can order as many items and servings as you'd like, from the aforementioned menu. In my opinion, this was a great deal, especially for the quality and quickness of the food! Because of the above, I was able to try 5 different types of sushi rolls (you can choose either 4 pieces, or 8 pieces), and I'd recommend 4 pieces so you could try just about any/everything. There are also photos on the menu to help you decide, if you're a visual person. Here's what I had: Edamame (the Cajun + garlic seasoned version, which was $1 more) - it was properly seasoned and super good! The gyozo/dumplings were good too; I'd recommend ordering a side of teriyaki sauce, as it only comes with a peanut-type sauce. The shrimp fried rice was also pretty good, and comes in a smaller portion. As for the sushi rolls, they were all delicious, but I'll rank them in order of my favorite (all of them were speciality rolls) #1 Kiss Me roll - it was so good (the best sushi roll out of all 5 I tried) that I forgot to take a photo! This one comes in pieces of 5, and the pieces are even thicker/bigger than the other rolls. #2 Fleur-di-lis sushi roll - loved the shredded crab meat that was layered across the top. #3 Godzilla sushi roll - loved the shrimp tempura within, and the sauce that was drizzled on top. #4 Lion King sushi roll - this was pretty good as well, and had the perfect amount of sauce layered across the top. #5 Spider sushi roll - another good one, and the avocado definitely stood out the most (if you're a big fan of it).

I'm happy they had sashimi options because their nigiri is pretty heavy on the rice, but the salmon cheese was by far our favorite. My favorite sashimi was yellow tail. The scallop was interesting looking but still tasted like scallop. I really liked the fried calamari too. Too bad it was no meat Friday because I wanted to try the karaage. I wouldn't get the salmon skin again, maybe if it were crispier. Fried rice has a little sweetness overall good and standard for fried rice Stir fry udon was pretty typical tasting as well Soft drinks included in AYCE. Pretty decent price for AYCE. Would want to come back for a lunch AYCE: Forgot to try the ice cream!

I don't know if I've ever spent that much money to leave a restaurant hungry. Seiji was the opposite experience! The 7 course tasting menu had is so full we didn't know if we were going to be able to even look at the dessert course. But then it was so good we ate it anyway. I don't wear anything with a tight waistline to a tasting menu, so I was able to walk out feeling fat and sassy, and fully intact. And this fish was worth the stomach stretching experience we had! The flavors were varied and interesting. The preparation was skilled. The presentation was easy on the eyes. I would definitely do this again! But maybe skip lunch that day, you'll need the room!! My only wish is that the preparation station in front of us at the bar was sunken so we couldn't see the artistry as it was created.

Omakase at the counter is such a great and worthy experience! We love watching the chefs put so much time and attention on these masterpieces, my only regret is that the bites don't last longer. It's so fun getting to interact with the chefs and ask them questions, and the servers are so attentive to you. It's a small, intimate space but it's a positive add to the experience.
