You received a drink of your choice with the AYCE menu of which a bottle of sake is an option. There also dessert. Various ice cream selections and fried bananas or fried Oreos. Food was delivered efficiently to our table once ordered and water glass was always filled without asking. The décor is welcoming with a cherry blossom tree theme. The restaurant is large and decorated beautify with glossy wood and a tree at the entrance. If I am eating solo, I like to sit a the bar for quicker service. I enjoyed my experience here. I dinned here a couple of weeks ago and we all ordered the all you can eat sushi menu. It is very similar to Sushi Nami that just opened within the last year further down Vets. There are certain things on the menu that are 'all you can eat' and you even get a discounted first alcoholic beverage. They do charge if you don't all of the food, something like .50 a roll, but that is understandable and also not a big deal since I can finish good sushi. And this was GOOD sushi. We had so many different types, but the BEST was the nemo. I will back over and over again for that nemo roll. So tasty. I loved the decor. Food was decent, but the wait time between our orders was pretty long (20ish minutes). I wouldn't recommend going here hungry, as eating a single piece of salmon and waiting so long for the next small plate was a bit ridiculous. We went on a weekday, so it wasn't particularly busy. I would rate higher if multiple dishes from our order arrived at the same time. With the time limit, I don't believe I got the amount of food to make the price (~$32/person) worth it, since again we waited for a long time between plates. I went with two people who had tried other Sushi Masa locations, and they both said that this was by far the best location they've tried in terms of menu selections, quality of food, taste of each item, and service. If you're a newbie to Sushi Masa like I am, this is a small local chain of AYCE (all-you-can-eat) restaurants. They offer items outside of the AYCE menu to purchase separately too, but if you're a big eater, the AYCE option is the best bang for your buck. It's about $32 for AYCE and they have TONS of seafood choices. Their menu is expansive and you definitely won't get to try everything in one visit. They offer appetizers, salads, soups, sushi, sashimi, drinks (with your first alcoholic drink free), and even dessert in their AYCE pricing! It's honestly quite a deal! We went for their grand opening, so it was packed! We put our name on the waitlist and it was a one-hour wait, but so worth it. The waitlist process was convenient and easy too. You can check how many reservations (with the size of each group) are ahead of you on your phone to get real-time updates on the status of a table being available for you. Once seated, you place your orders and the items you request will be brought to your table as they are prepared. Each item was freshly prepared and the quality was very decent for an AYCE! I didn't have any complaints about any of the items, the staff were well-prepared and attentive (even though it was their first day and it was a full house!), and I had a fantastic dinner! Every item I tried was delicious tonight! I'm usually a little weary about the quality at AYCE restaurants, but this new Sushi Masa here was amazing! One great thing to note is that this is AYCE, but since each item is made to order and brought to your table, unlike a buffet, you don't have the issue of potential contamination of food by other customers, and you don't need to worry about unpopular items sitting under a heat lamp. There was a bit of a wait to get in. It's a very large restaurant used to be a Walgreens so the floor plan is quite large. However seems as if they are short staffed since there were a ton of empty tables in the building. Aside from that after waiting for 45min we had a great experience. I love the decor and the designing of the entire restaurant, it's really amazing. Whenever I visit Sushi Masa, I always get the All You Can Eat. My go to rolls are the Nemo Roll, Baby Tiger Roll, Crazy Yellow Tail Roll, Yummy Roll, and the Bon Temps Roll. Oh and I can't forget my Spicy Kani Salad. I had the beef and chicken teriyaki (which I called my "Turf and Turf") along with takoyaki, beef noodles, and the yummy roll. Between me and my fiancé, we also had four bottles of sake.
