Delicious rolls! I absolutely loved the Naruto roll wrapped with the cucumber and the Utah roll. Service was good and consistent!

Managed to come here in person after getting delivery from them first and it's AMAZING. We ordered the same rolls, because not only were they delicious, but we also wanted to have an accurate comparison. We were already impressed with the delivered rolls and in person they're 10x better. The flavors are intense and blend together nicely, the presentation is beautiful, and they're freshly prepared so the rolls with seared fish have an incredible smokey flavor and aroma. As far as the service, we happened to go when it was slow and our server was very kind and attentive. Additionally, the chef made small talk with us and recommended other rolls he thought we'd enjoy next time based on what we ordered. I can say with complete certainty now that this is our favorite sushi restaurant, and we'll definitely be coming here a lot more!

This sushi restaurant is a hidden gem in a strip mall located in Metairie off Veterans. My sis and I wanted sushi but didn't want to head uptown, so we took a chance on Fuji Sushi. The food was very good and tasty. We started with dumplings and miso soup. Then we ordered three rolls of sushi. Very fresh and yummy. The locals near the strip mall are regulars, for what I could see. Service was great. Wait staff was always asking if you needed anything else. I will return the next time I am in NOLA.

Rainbow roll

This is my favorite sushi restaurant. It's a small strip mall location and is consistently delicious and reasonably priced for having such high quality fish. I really enjoy the nigiri, especially the specials that aren't on the regular menu but they nearly always have. And the sushi chefs are very friendly and make the experience even better. On my most recent visit we got: toro, surf clam, squid, white fish, saba, aji, madai, kanpachi, and anago nigiri and a rainbow roll, Philadelphia roll, and crunchy dynamite roll.

Tuna Tataki Salad

Such a nice experience! The restaurant is a small but charming. It was very peaceful and clean. I ordered 2pc sushi: bluefin tuna, yellowtail, and tamago. I also had the tuna tataki salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I also enjoyed a large hot sake! It seemed almost unending as I poured many cups. I will be back very soon to try more on the menu.

The WAGYU certificate .. a 10 for having a cert.

Traveling for Business stopped at a couple sushi bars close to my hotel and the third one on my third day happen to be Fuji sushi so far I've eaten there three times. It's a great sushi bar/ restaurant . Besides having the sushi rolls and popular sushi fish ..They have odd/ not the norm fish that are spectacular from the Uni to, the Toro and bluefin tuna and some other fish with crazy names but it's so delicious. Also they're Japanese Wagyu beef is to die for and it certified ... everything's very fresh reasonably priced and delicious. I've been back there three times in the last week and a half and I will be going again in a couple of days ..

One of the better sushi restaurants in the city! My friend has been raving about Fuji to me for over a year now and so we finally went a few months back. I have seen this place many times before since I frequent the vietnamese restaurant that shares the same parking lot. Needless to say Fuji had a lot to live up to because of the consistent endorsement that I kept hearing from my friend. I ordered the Cajun Poboy Roll (crab, crawfish, and tempura shrimp) and the seafood fried rice (my friend said I HAD to order that rice). The sushi was exceptional. The rice was delicious (I could of ate an entire pot of that rice). We then ordered bubble teas. Great service from the staff. They were all friendly and most seemed to recognize the regulars. Small cozy restaurant that serves amazing food. Looking forward to my next visit!

This place is great. Always nice to come here after work with coworkers for a glass of wine. They have noodle salad!!!! My favorite! They have a HUGE list of sushi rolls, so big, it's often hard to choose just one. But then again, why only get one? They also have these AMAZING crawfish rangoon/egg rolls omg they are to die for. The place is tiny though, so don't try to come with a big group, best for groups of 4 or less.

This is a solid 4 1/2 stars but it's not quite a 5. The actual fish is wonderful. The fish is a 5 (or 6), fresh, yummy, excellent fish. The c waitress came up to me and asked me if I liked sushi. I relied on the affirmative. But then I started asking about kani (fake crab). So many places are saying there is crab on it when it's kani (enough said, look it up). So she directs me to several tools without kani. Generally I just order a roll and have them hold the kani. But the Tiger Roll looked good so I went that way. TIGER ROLL: inside: salmon and tuna. Outside: salmon, barbecue eel, avocado, roe [masago], green onion, crunchy with eel sauce, I was like "okay, let's try it." I rarely eat eel and now I'm asking myself why. The roll was extremely creative and yummy but the person assembling it didn't make it tight enough and it didn't always hang together. Another issue was when I asked about beer I was only told about Sapporo, which is a 22 oz beer. I feel like there should be less-ounce choices. Oh well, I'm in Louisiana so I'll just get a to-go cup. I was impressed because they have uni (sea urchin) and Toro (fatty tuna). Honestly, you only see that in the better sushi restaurants because it's such a specialty. I will totally and willingly return here.

The staff was really accommodating and I liked that the waitress was patient with my group. I was dining with a large group and we ordered half the menu. Service was fast as I was surprised how quickly some of the dishes were prepared. Also it was located in a shopping center so it was easy to find.

The chicken wings were fresh and hot, crunchy, and flavorful with a nice size (not too big, not too small). Now the price... unbeatable. We did all you can eat menu and between myself and 8 year old daughter we ordered 4 specialty rolls, each got a salad, two orders of chicken wings, ice cream, and drinks and only spent $45! ($55 with tip) What a steal! We could have ordered much more and it would have been the same price, but we were stuffed! Side note: I recently went to a sushi spot I frequent in the margins and spent well over $100 and was hungry just a few hours later. It's hard to justify that! But at SushiNami I was able to have a budget friendly meal without sacrificing quality. And I actually enjoyed the food here more!! Go with an empty stomach and you'll leave so satisfied without breaking the bank! Will definitely be back!
