Has dim lighting in the dining area with upstairs and downstairs seating. There seemed to be regulars here. Everything started off well, we ordered a tempura appetizer that was pretty good with light batter. Sadly that was the extent of the good experience. After receiving the appetizer it took about 40 minutes to receive our main course sushi entrees. Aside from an apology there wasn't anything offered or comped for the long wait. All the sushi entrees we ordered were mediocre sadly. The quality of fish wasn't high. Unfortunately this is one of the few sushi restaurants in the area so I think that's why it has higher reviews. Service was just okay too. Based on this and the sushi quality I wouldn't recommend.

It's eat first talk later. The salmon sashimi pieces were thick & juicy and melt in your mouth. The miso soup was rich and warm and so filling. Salmon Teriyaki was perfectly grilled with light coat of teriyaki & the shrimp & veggie tempura were delicious with tempura sauce. So much food that I have 2 meals in one! $18.99 for Fall Bento! What a deal for this excellent quality of food. They have AYCE as well for $38.99 but we were on our way home so we didn't have much to experience this. We assumed we'd be getting our orders only (tuna poke bowl, beef bulgogi, and chicken katsu) but you also get soup and salad before your meal, and a scoop of lemon sorbet after. Similar to what you experience at a hibachi restaurant in the states, only a better variety, and quality of food. Chicken and waffles. But not the usual southern style or Harlem New York kind of chicken and waffles. First of all, deep fried dark meat that's boneless. Paired with fluffy waffles. What makes this combo different and standing out from everywhere else? The waffles has a sweetnees to it. The Chicken, topped with honey garlic sauce that's more honey-ey than it is garlicky. And parmesan cheese. Yes. Parmesan cheese. The combination of the 3 makes for a medley of flavours thats a great trio to hit the taste buds.
