    Bulgogi Bowl

I shook it up and started eating before I realized this was some of the best takeout Korean food in the Burgh and snapped a quick picture! Ordered for pick up, it was ready in less than 20 minutes and absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to try more things from here! The staff was quick and kind, and it's such a cute spot but if you're in a rush it's a great option.

Nice little spot. We are a big fan of the poke bowl. Tasty with plenty of great toppings. The menu is diverse enough that's there's something for everyone (within the sushi / rice bowl domain) but at the same time it isn't that flexible. For example, I have asked if they could do big platters for a party and I was told no. That said, that is not why I docked a star. I dropped to 4-stars because I feel like it's a bit pricy for what you get. Lastly, note that Sushi-Go is a takeout spot. They do have one table but the plaza in Shaler where this is located hardly makes it a destination. Basically order ahead and pick it up. I wouldn't make this a dine-in stop.

I stoped by Sushi Go for lunch. I like how they have some heat at home Korean soups in their to go fridge. I ordered the sushi combo that had nigiri, sashimi, and California rolls. The California rolls were just so so. The nigiri salmon was good and the sashimi tuna was good. It was rough to eat the snapper sashimi and nigiri. I thoroughly did not enjoy it.

Decided to try this new place as a light lunch while I was I was painting my home. I looked up the website, viewed the menu and called to order. When I went and picked it up, it was ready to go, as I was picking it up I realized perhaps I should order another roll for later. The gentleman behind the counter graciously obliged was very nice and quick. The place looked very clean and orderly. Once home I begin to eat my lunch and it was delicious I can't wait to go back again. Its so awesome having a place so close that you can pop in and grab some sushi. I got the California roll and vegetable roll. They where fresh and tasted great and best of all a reasonable price can't beat it.

I stopped at this new sushi place impulsively after my nail appointment in the same shopping center. I walked in and was surprised at how cute and clean it was inside. The logo has a stop light and they are called "Sushi Go" so I wasn't expecting much for a takeout place. As I got closer to the door I noticed it also said Korean food to go. I was a little confused, but went in and was greeted right away! There were a few people waiting for their food, and another man went right in to the cooler and paid for a container of soup. I looked in the cooler and noticed these were all the korean food specialties that they offer. They were really unique dishes that I was not familiar with. I ordered a salmon avocado roll, a rainbow roll and a miso soup. My total was $20 and the owner made my sushi in about 5 minutes! He told me that they just opened 1 month ago. I was excited to get home and eat. The miso soup was solid, although it had pieces of dried tofu in it rather than squares of steamed tofu. It was really good. The salmon avocado roll was great! I saw in other reviews that the amount of fish in each roll was small, but this really was not the case. The rainbow roll was good, but not great. I didn't love the tuna or snapper, and it was a lot of rice. Next time I would probably get 2 of the salmon avocado rolls. The restaurant was super clean and the menu is printed big on the walls with photos of each roll. They are not on grubhub or ubereats yet because they are just too busy to keep up with the demand! I will stop here again after my next nail appointment. The quick and friendly service definitely makes me want to return.

Neat little quick to go sushi place. The sushi is good, the service is friendly and there is quite a lot of options to order from. I generally get it take out for lunch and have been very pleased with the quality. Right off the side of the road in Allison park so it's very easy and convenient to grab sushi if you're in the mood. Also the price for how much sushi you get is definitely fair if not quite inexpensive while still tasting good.

Great sushi for the price and convenience. I've been a few times to enjoy the different rolls. The staff is nice and they are helpful when choosing a roll. The store is clean and easy to get to. I'm sure I will be back when I'm in the mood for some sushi!

I've been generally impressed by the quality of the sushi. We ordered takeout this time, and everything was extremely well packaged and presented. In terms of the food, we focussed on fairly standard maki rolls: a spicy salmon roll and a spicy California roll. Both were very nicely done. We also tried the veg farm roll, and that was a nice vegetable forward option. Not life changing, but nicely done. We also opted for a vegetable poke bowl, and that was also good. Basically the same combination of vegetables as the veg farm roll, but in a bowl format. The bowl was good, but it was lacking some sort of sauce or glaze that might have pulled things together. It was easy enough to toss on some condiments of our own, but the bowl could have been better. Overall, I this is my favorite sushi destination in Squirrel Hill. It's very clear that the owners are invested in turning out a high quality experience, and that's exactly the type of business I like to support.

My usual order is the chicken katsu bento box, which comes with a good portion of crunchy sliced chicken katsu, rice, two dumplings, a California roll, and miso soup. It feels like a solid, filling meal with enough variety to make it satisfying. The only downside with my most recent takeout order was the sauce placed in the middle of the container. I'm not sure exactly what it was, and after tasting it, it wasn't really for me. Because of the layout of the takeout container, some of it spilled into the rice and rolls. Next time, I'd probably ask for that sauce on the side in a separate container.

I heard her tell another table that her whole family is in the restaurant business, and her comfort and skill with every table made that abundantly clear. Too bad we were not hungry enough to order more, because everything was fantastic. We had the chef's selection of sashimi and of sushi (two different dishes) and a takoyaki appetizer. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the different sauces on the nigiri and sashimi elevated the fish in amazing ways. I asked our waiter if the portion size of chirashi was good and he said it's a good size and that they have carry out boxes if I don't finish. Tell me why this was the smallest chirashi I have ever seen anywhere. The slices of fish were thinner than the sliced ginger. If you stacked all of the slices, it would make a normal size of one piece of nigiri. The slice of tuna was so thin, you could see through it, much less taste it. I was still starving after and got the fried chicken nuggets which were a good portion, with good crunch. The sauce on the chicken was devoid of flavor except for the SALT. They were even able to take the chicken flavor away from the meat which is kind of an accomplishment in itself. My friend got the Sichuan pork dumplings and the dumplings were drowning in soy sauce so much so that you couldn't taste the Sichuan spice (if there was any). There's a sushi restaurant nearby that gives me food poisoning every time I eat there and I would have much rather have eaten there than Soba. I would definitely recommend this place to my enemies because they'll leave broke and still hungry.
