Solid food in the Washington square food court - was pleasantly surprised. Got the poke bowl w salad base and spicy salmon. Fish was decent and happy you can get unlimited veges. Burrito was good too

I decided to try Sushi Burrito this week. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious and healthy options. I appreciated the build your own burrito option that allowed me to make my favorite kind of roll. The service was friendly & accommodating. I would definitely order here again.

The dancing salmon burrito is very good but the Tako Yaki (octopus filled ball) has more ball than octopus. For $7.95 u would expect a little more

I've tried two sushi burrito places in Portland and I would say this mall burrito was better lol. Cute presentation and cheaper. I would def pick one of these up again. Not bad for $11 and it was filling.

We love Sushi Burrito. Very tasty and fresh. It's our go to place in the mall food court

Best sushi burrito I've ever had! So fresh, full of color, flavor, and so huge! The rice was perfectly cooked, the salmon was delicious. It was packed with edamame, cucumbers and seaweed(like the seaweed in salads not like the wrapper) so good and so much that eating half made me plenty full!

I got a poke bowl and an order or the takoyaki balls. They were both great! The poke bowl was filling and they do not skimp out on the amount of meat they put in. Would be nice if there were more toppings offered (more picked veggies), but either way my bowl was flavorful and delicious. I was skeptical about ordering takoyaki balls from a food court mall bad wasn't disappointed. They were flavorful and not as mushy or liquidy on the inside like I've had before. I would order both again and eat here again in the future. For a food court mall sushi place I would recommend it. It was better than a food cart place I've been to in portland, especially for the price. The staff were all very nice as well. If you're looking for restaurant quality food, this is not for you. Poke bowl consisted of salmon, tuna, crab salad (for an additional $2 but the scoop was huge), rice, edamame, corn, red onion, cabbage, fish eggs, seaweed salad, carrots, fried crispy onions, green onions, cucumber salad, furikake, eel sauce, and spicy mayo.

It's alright. Don't know what it is, i think it's the crab meat, but when I first bit into it I got a chemical taste. It's just weird tasting. I'm sure it's okay to eat but it wasn't near an "oh my gosh this is heaven" first bite. Was a bit disappointed they don't have furikake. Avocado is an extra $1 and crab meat is an extra $2.50 which is way too much! Total price for this was about $16. I would consider myself to know what a good sushi burrito tastes like, I've tried a lot of places around oregon and California. I would prefer to go to sushi burritos places in Portland over this place. Overall though, the ahi tuna is fresh and they give you a good helping, the burrito is fairly big. And the worker was friendly.

I got the spicy salmon burrito. It has a good amount of salmon. The roll was delicious. The cucumbers there are pickled Asian style.

I work in the mall and occasionally come early to grab lunch before my shift. I was pleasantly surprised to see this new restaurant today. I've gotta say the workers are super nice. I got the Tako yaki and it was super yummy! I will definitely be back to try out the bowls and burritos!

The service is great, the fish is fresh, and the sake selection is impressive for such a small place. Both western and Japanese style seating is available. The one thing I didn't like about my last visit, a little bit of micromanagement coming out of the kitchen. In all fairness, a business owner should be critical of what's being plated and served. It's a reflection of the restaurant and the way they approach food. I do not want my food to be micromanaged, I want it to be finessed. This place is clean and traditional, but the bar is also set a little low on that traditional type of experience. This place is a comfortable eatery and not much more. The cultural takeaway is washed over by Ikea lables left on soy sauce bottles, a lack of attention to detail that easily transfers from the table settings to the delivery of food. It's a local spot but not a great date night spot. I was slightly disappointed with the overall presentation and quality. For instance, what a large plate of sashimi or nigiri is brought to the table, there is no explanation and the patron is left to wonder what some pieces might be. I've always nice when the server points out my favorite pieces and maybe something I didn't know about on my plate. The pieces of fish on the nigiri were massive. Let's remember that quantity over quality is not typically what you're looking for in a dining experience.

Once we stepped inside, we were immediately struck by how beautiful the decor was. From the cherry blossom tree with seating built around it, to the wood-and-paper accents, to the elegant wall screen and custom dining tables--everything felt thoughtfully designed. Our dining experience truly felt luxurious, like a little slice of Japan right here at home. Service was excellent as well. Our waitress was friendly, patient with our questions, and quick to bring out our sushi and water. Even the water bottle was a gorgeous textured design--such a nice touch. The menu offers giant specialty rolls, nigiri, and smaller rolls, with photos of most items except the small rolls, which made ordering easy. There's plenty of seating inside, but definitely check the hours before you go. They close at 2:30 pm and reopen at 5 pm, and we've been caught arriving too late before. This restaurant may be a small local chain, but everything tastes incredibly fresh and is made to order. They also offer bento boxes and daily specials, giving lots of great options no matter what you're in the mood for. A fantastic experience all around--highly recommended!

At sushi restaurants our younger child usually only eats plain rice, and our older one is a picky eater who will eat a little chicken. We initially asked to order the kids teriyaki chicken for our older child but were told the kids menu is only for 7 and under. Since we do have a 5 year old, we ordered the kids meal for her and a side of rice. When the food arrived and we placed the chicken in front of our 10 year old and the rice in front of our 5 year old, there seemed to be some confusion among the staff, which created an awkward and uncomfortable moment for us. In the end our 10 year old only ate a few pieces of chicken and our 5 year old had a little rice, which is exactly why we ordered the smaller portions. It caught us off guard since we did have a child under the age limit at the table and were ordering plenty of food, and families often share plates. A little flexibility or discretion in situations like this might help avoid making families feel uncomfortable. That said, the staff were genuinely very kind and accommodating overall, and very sweet as we were leaving. Overall a beautiful space with very nice staff.
