Tonight, I came to Fuddo yama Ramen & Izakaya, which is located 4 minutes from my hotel. There are plenty of free parking lots around the store. As soon as I entered the store, the staff talked to me and I sat down. It's my first time here, but the store is decorated with many nostalgic Japanese items. The music is also a familiar hit song, and I can't help but hum it. Loll I asked the staff about the popular ramen and ordered cha-shu fried rice. Fuddo yama delax ramen has a lot of ingredients and the taste is just right, so it was good that the noodles were firm. After eating ramen, I was full and took home the fried rice. What I like the most is the atmosphere of the store, the robot, and the staff's service.

Great service! Tried their black garlic ramen and Red miso ramen. Both of their ramen were flavorful and absolutely loved them. Their vegetarian dumplings were so flavorful and the best I have ever tried. Their sakura mocktail was so beautifully presented and refreshing. Highly recommend this place for ramen. Their ambiance is so colorful and chic.

The food was pretty good and service was friendly. My husband and I only waited maybe 20 minutes for a table on a Sunday night. I was excited to try this place after I saw good reviews and photos of ramen with corn (I love it with corn but I don't always see that!) but once we got there I found out they don't do ANY substitutions. I would have swapped mushrooms for corn but they said no. I'm not paying $2 to ADD corn when I don't even want to eat one of the existing toppings. It makes no sense that you can't sub toppings. It's not like it's mixed in.... And $2 for tiny scoop for CORN is outrageous. I ended up not even having ramen

Super cute atmosphere , covered in Japanese characters and cute art they had Pokemon on the tvs which was super cute, large menu with a lot of different choices for everyone's tastes, my boyfriend got a black garlic ramen and I got spicy teriyaki chicken and we both really liked our food !! But he also really likes the pesto ramen !! Super nice staff definitely bringing friends here !!!

The decor here is pretty but I'm finding some of the care going into the food is very questionable from the kitchen. I've been here 3 times to test this theory with different groups of friends. I have had curry so many times in my life and even in Japan countless times. This is disappointing to write. All 3 times food was served extremely lukewarm, barely tepid. Almost cold one time. The curry sauce here is made with pureed almost minced chicken meat into the sauce, hence the grainy texture. The sauce isn't anything amazing? It feels like it's lacking flavor. The rice came out mushy everytime, why is a Japanese place making mushy short grain rice? The food has been served barely room temp. I'm not sure if they freeze their sauce and reheat it but it needs to change. DO BETTER. Especially at almost $20 for curry with chicken katsu. Serve hot temperate curry! The chicken katsu is okay and kinda bland but it's best to pair it with the curry sauce. The fried squid legs are clumped together and were semi undercooked inside. My suggestion would be to split the squid legs one more time before frying. This time I got the shrimp tempura and was disappointed to find that it was made with chopped shrimp instead of a giant shrimp. It was okay but the texture was not what I was expecting. Takoyaki - was basic and you can't mess this up. Tempura veggie cakes - not bad but needs a better dipping sauce than mayo. I think this place borders on American Japanese, a lot of the food isn't authentic at all. The decor and anime weeb culture is so on point for fans of Japanese anime culture but the food needs to do better if they will stay around long term. This place is inside a weird plaza next to a laundromat, location is kinda of sketch. Overall I do think this place is a cute concept and I wanted to love it (why do you think I came 3 times), but each time I was disappointed by the lacking quality in their food. Their waitress was super kind and she made the experience worth 3 stars.

3.5/5 - we started with the hot kaarage which had a good flavor but the batter did not hold up to the sauce. parts of the chicken was still crispy but a majority of it was soggy and falling off the chicken. red miso was great and they don't hold back on the spice for this one! noodles had a good bite. I wished the broth was served hotter though and not just warm. the tonkotsu was pretty good, I thought it was too porky but my boyfriend said it was good.

Cute place! Staff was nice. Ramen was good, broth was rich and flavorful, noodles were a nice texture. The cha-su was a bit bland, it was torched but maybe not marinated. Overall I would visit again.

Well, I left my hotel because after trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to eat inside the hotel it was very confusing exactly where the restaurant was so I decided to venture out and see what's surround and came across a place that's across the street from no hotel that I don't believe is something I should've eaten and I'm glad I didn't as I was crossing the street. I saw the Ramen place adjacent to the hotel and so I decided to give it a try. I walked in there and they yelled something and I believe it's in Japanese, but I can't be too sure. I believe it's some sort of greeting because when I left, they also did the same. The place is extremely packed and as well as lots and lots of decorations that he places got so much decor quite overwhelming. But very cool though. They asked me if I was one person dining and I said yes and they sat me at a table with other people which was sort of awkward, but at the same time I get it you know the place is pretty crowded and so they're trying to utilize all the space they can. I went to the menu and it's really kind of hard to understand exactly what you're getting in. I'm glad I look like I was lost because the server came out to me and asked me if I was ready to order and I said I really don't know what I'm ordering and he goes. What were you thinking and I said I was looking at the regular Ramen and he goes. Can I recommend something and I said sure he goes I think you should go with the black garlic Ramen with whatever protein you want. So I got chicken and I gotta tell you that was probably the most delicious meal I have ever eaten in a long time. The taste buds are is going crazy because it was so good. I wanted to finish it and I probably should've taken it back to the hotel but I am so full. I couldn't see myself eating anymore later. I highly recommend this place tremendously.

Definitely stop for great food and ambiance! Absolutely loved this place. Inside is anime themed, all the wall are decorated with different images and figurines from shows and movies. They use a robot to bring you out your meal (more of a gimmick, but adds some fun to the delivery of the food). Service was quick and helpful. We very much enjoyed the food. My wife is a big ramen fan and we have eaten ramen all over and I would say this is definitely up there with the top I've had.

I really like the flavors of their ramen. The ramen is 5 stars. We ordered the vegetarian pesto one and also the black garlic northwest blend. Both were amazingly fresh and full of flavor. Sometimes ramen can be bland, but this was absolutely delicious and full of sensational umami tastes. They even had a robot server. I would definitely come back here because both of the ramen bowls tasted super delicious. I also loved all the adorable decor and colorful atmosphere. Cons: the ramen is higher than a lot of other places. I was hoping that it would have been a little bit cheaper. The bowls start at $17 and you can't do any substitutions. For example, my mother didn't want corn in her ramen so she wanted to see if she could get extra mushrooms or an egg as a swap out for the corn, but they said that would cost extra - absolutely no substitution on anything unless you want an up charge. She felt bummed that she was losing an ingredient, but still being charged the same. By adding extras - it's over $20 for a bowl of soup - which seems expensive. I'm still wishing we could turn back the clock to 2019 when you could get a big bowl of ramen for $13. We also ordered the vegetable tempura. This came out as small pieces of sliced vegetable patty (birdnest) style cakes (tempura fried). It was ordered as an appetizer, but came out after we got our ramen. Only one piece was hot/warm and the other pieces were almost cold. They were smaller too than anticipated - I wouldn't order that again. Service was also subpar. We didn't get the robot service like the other tables which was disappointing. When we needed water refills we also had to ask for them. I also was intrigued by their Japanese curry, but they only made it in a meat version instead of vegetarian. It would be nice if they offered that too with a vegetarian option. All in all, I really loved the (vegetarian) ramen - which is their speciality - so I will come back. However, the appetizer really wasn't worth it, our service could have been better, and the prices are a tad higher than I expected. I will try it again though when I am in the area. It's better than a lot of other Asian restaurants that I have gone to.

The vegetarian ramen is no joke, it's the best I've had. Plus the service and atmosphere are both great.

Love this place! It's summer and I usually don't care for ramen when it's hot but this was so tasty! We had the fuddo yama ramen deluxe and it was so yummy!!!

The lady who took our order was attentive and quick. The kitchen people carefully brought the food, and attitude was polite. I wasn't sure whether hot tea would be an extra cost and got ice water. Portion was normal, tons of vegetables and FOUR slices of chashu meat, which I was already amazed. Soup was thick but not salty at all. Aji tama was perfect. The price is reasonable ($12 per bowl, no matter what favors of soup bases). The front line people always made sure to keep the bar table clean. A Ramen Masterclass in Beaverton! If you are looking for…read morethat perfect, soul-warming bowl of noodles, Koku Ramen & Bites in Beaverton is an absolute gem. It's located in the Timberland Town Center and manages to perfectly balance a modern, trendy vibe with authentic, traditional flavors. Here is why it's a 5-star standout for me: The Broth (The Soul of the Bowl): I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, and the broth was incredible--creamy, rich, and clearly simmered for hours. It has that deep, milky consistency that only comes from true craft. If you like heat, the Spicy Miso has a perfect, layered kick that doesn't just overpower your taste buds. The Noodles: They get the texture exactly right. You can choose your firmness, and they have that perfect "chew" that holds onto the broth beautifully. The "Bites": True to their name, the appetizers (bites) are not to be skipped. The Pork Gyoza are perfectly seared, but the Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) is the real winner--juicy on the inside and impossibly crunchy on the outside. The Chashu: The braised pork belly is melt-in-your-mouth tender. They give it a quick torch sear before serving, which adds a beautiful smoky aroma to the whole bowl. The Vibe: The restaurant is clean, sleek, and has a great energy. The staff is welcoming and incredibly fast, making it a perfect spot for a quick lunch or a cozy dinner. Pro Tip: Don't forget to add a Marinated Soft-Boiled Egg (Ajitama). They cook them to perfection here with that jammy, custard-like yolk that takes the ramen to the next level. Beaverton has a lot of food options, but Koku is easily at the top of my list for comfort food. I'll be back again and again!
