Spicy Ichitan Ramen
Jackie C.

Amazing. No words. Just pure bliss. This is my first time here. I don't usually like getting ramen unless I'm familiar with the place but this place was just so extremely good I'm glad I tried it. I ordered the spicy ichitan ramen, comes with kimchi, egg and pork. Let me just say it was so amazing I wish I tipped more. I cannot begin to describe the phenomenal flavors in this ramen. So perfect on a chilly day. The guy was so nice and service was speedy considering I ordered two things including a ramen. 11/10 I would definitely recommend if you want to try some DELICIOUS spicy ramen. I will be coming back again!

Tonkatsu Ramen

Seriously awesome ramen. Came out super fast. Amazing to eat outside on the patio on the first day of fall. The guy working was very kind, great service. Will definitely return to try another soups.

Spicy Tantan Miso Ramen

I just moved to the Beaverton area and have been on the hunt for a new ramen place, and I've found it with Ichitan Ramen! It's located in the cutest little area surrounded by other restaurants, the service was great and the ramen was delicious! I got the garlic tonkotsu, which had a great depth of flavor and a good garlicky taste. My friend got the spicy miso (pic) and she said it was the best she's ever had. Will definitely be coming back!

Delicious Ramen!

Not good. Ordered tonkotsu ramen. The noodles are all stuck together. They put too much kimchi in it which makes it the only flavor.

There were…read moreparking spaces on a busy Sunday in this area but sometimes it can get a little crazy around here with so many businesses and traffic flow. You order at the counter and get a number and a container filled with chopsticks, forks (if needed) and napkins for dining in. The inside decor was popping with red and cool light designs on the walls. There were only 2 people working there when we went doing their best while still being very friendly and helpful. I used my birthday reward ($15) to get the Spicy Miso ramen with pork, and my hubby got the TanTan Ramen with chicken. Our kids enjoyed the Kids Shoyu ramen with tofu that came with a Japanese strawberry milk candy as a treat. Both ramen were on the saltier side but the spice levels were legit. The soft boiled egg was actually perfect but the potstickers were greasy and were slightly bland. It didn't feel right to me to pay $5 for a taco but I was intrigued by their flavor profiles. I saw that they have Taco Tuesday deals ($3 tacos), lunch specials ($15 for ramen, taco and drink) and an amazing Wednesday family dinner deal ($30 for 2 adult ramens, 2 kid ramens, and 2 tacos) so we will be back to hit up one of those soon for sure!

The tacos are generous and delicious, the handmade potstickers are well worth the wait, and Derrick…read moreis an excellent representative of this business, promoting new flavors and making sure everything is to your liking. The only seating is at a bar and it's a really small place. But so worth it! The guy always working there doesn't have the best bed side manner I guess you could say, but if you are just normal acting, he's nice enough and he's gets you your amazing food. I don't really care because I love the food so much!! My husband and I get the tofu ramen and it's so so good so I can't even imagine how good the meat ramen is! Go and enjoy!

I think there's no more than 10 seats but if the weather's nice they have some outdoor seating, too. The wall had fun drawings and artwork on it which was fun to look at while waiting for the food. Staff: got our orders. Food: I got their Tori Paitan with char siu for $14. The price was reasonable with the portion they give. The char siu was fatty and the egg was runny. It was piping hot and the soup base was not bad. I didn't feel thirsty afterwards. The noodles were cooked nicely. It is a little further away for me just to eat ramen and nothing was outstanding to me. In fact, I felt a little rushed and couldn't catch up with my friends because of the way the store was set up and few spots. We didn't want to keep chatting because that means other customers would have to wait. So, if you want to quickly eat some ramen, come here.

Every time my friends or family suggest ramen, it's…read morean immediate "next" for me... it's usually too salty, way too carby, and not enough protein. I can definitely appreciate the effort it takes to make ramen, but it's not exactly a well-balanced, healthy dish, more like a hangover cure... With that being said! For me to give Lucky Ramen FIVE stars is a huge feat! My personal number 1 go-to is the Veggie Ramen w/kale noodles, spicy level 3. Dont knock it til you try it! The broth is the true definition of umami, it's savory, filled with enoki mushrooms, bok choy, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and a soft boiled egg. It's nothing short of filling! The kale noodles taste just like regular ramen noodles and to think that it has extra fiber, yes please. If the thought of a dish being vegetarian is a turn off for you, next best option is the Tonkotsu ramen. The broth is flavorful, rich, and they don't skimp on the meat and other ingredients either! Honestly, you cant go wrong with Lucky Cat. If you ever walk thru H-Mart and see a line for this restaurant, now you know why! :)

But it's good ramen, so have a seat and eat. This place is inside the H-Mart Korean grocery store. Just take a hard right as you come in the front door. When you're done eating here, maybe get some shopping done. Access is great, right off of 99W either North or South bound. There's a light, so there's no problem turning in or getting out. Parking is plentiful. It's good ramen, so give it a try.

A Ramen Masterclass in Beaverton! If you are looking for…read morethat perfect, soul-warming bowl of noodles, Koku Ramen & Bites in Beaverton is an absolute gem. It's located in the Timberland Town Center and manages to perfectly balance a modern, trendy vibe with authentic, traditional flavors. Here is why it's a 5-star standout for me: The Broth (The Soul of the Bowl): I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, and the broth was incredible--creamy, rich, and clearly simmered for hours. It has that deep, milky consistency that only comes from true craft. If you like heat, the Spicy Miso has a perfect, layered kick that doesn't just overpower your taste buds. The Noodles: They get the texture exactly right. You can choose your firmness, and they have that perfect "chew" that holds onto the broth beautifully. The "Bites": True to their name, the appetizers (bites) are not to be skipped. The Pork Gyoza are perfectly seared, but the Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) is the real winner--juicy on the inside and impossibly crunchy on the outside. The Chashu: The braised pork belly is melt-in-your-mouth tender. They give it a quick torch sear before serving, which adds a beautiful smoky aroma to the whole bowl. The Vibe: The restaurant is clean, sleek, and has a great energy. The staff is welcoming and incredibly fast, making it a perfect spot for a quick lunch or a cozy dinner. Pro Tip: Don't forget to add a Marinated Soft-Boiled Egg (Ajitama). They cook them to perfection here with that jammy, custard-like yolk that takes the ramen to the next level. Beaverton has a lot of food options, but Koku is easily at the top of my list for comfort food. I'll be back again and again!

My wife and I had dinner reservations at another restaurant where kids are not allowed. 20% gratuity is high when the bill is $80+ just for 4 kids. Don't take your kids here. Better places, better prices, better environment. Waiter was Josue. (Good waiter)
