Service is great. Food is excellent and price is good. Small indoor dining but plenty patio sitting. I'm here from Los Angeles on my short vacation spending 10 days in my Oregon home in Bay City. I have never been here cuz this location is 75 miles from Bay City and i only liked Mexican Carne Asada taco but boy oh boy! The taco i have here is great tasting without my usual hot sauce and the spicy ramen is to die for. read more

Im going to be 100% honest; The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review is that me, my mom, and stepdad have gotten some sort of stomach bug after eating here several times. We always have the eggs so I'm assuming thats what does it because they are soft boiled. HOWEVER, I absolutely love their food. They've got the ratio of spice to broth perfect in their Tan Tan Ramen! Their pot stickers are amazing and always come out fresh. Ive also had their cucumber salad, which I started making at home because I loved it so much. The food always comes out quickly and the staff is always super nice. My only complaint is that theres only one bathroom and it's also really hot in there sometimes. (As well as getting sick, but I'm 90% its cause of the eggs) Overall, amazing ramen restaurant! It's my favorite by far! read more

This is a great location in Cedar Hills with both indoor and outdoor tables for dining. There were parking spaces on a busy Sunday in this area but sometimes it can get a little crazy around here with so many businesses and traffic flow. You order at the counter and get a number and a container filled with chopsticks, forks (if needed) and napkins for dining in. The inside decor was popping with red and cool light designs on the walls. There were only 2 people working there when we went doing their best while still being very friendly and helpful. I used my birthday reward ($15) to get the Spicy Miso ramen with pork, and my hubby got the TanTan Ramen with chicken. Our kids enjoyed the Kids Shoyu ramen with tofu that came with a Japanese strawberry milk candy as a treat. Both ramen were on the saltier side but the spice levels were legit. The soft boiled egg was actually perfect but the potstickers were greasy and were slightly bland. It didn't feel right to me to pay $5 for a taco but I was intrigued by their flavor profiles. I saw that they have Taco Tuesday deals ($3 tacos), lunch specials ($15 for ramen, taco and drink) and an amazing Wednesday family dinner deal ($30 for 2 adult ramens, 2 kid ramens, and 2 tacos) so we will be back to hit up one of those soon for sure! read more

The service was not great. They had a sign for $19.00 for ramen, gyoza and a drink when my husband asked about the special she said the had 20 people that came in before us. The workers kept hiding in the the back and the table were not wiped we had to go get napkins to wipe it clean. We also saw other tables that had food on it and they didn't do anything. read more

Ive been here a few times now, its time to chime in. The first couple of times I got the spicy miso ramen with medium heat. It was the prefect heat level for me. The pork was way better than I expected. Big slices of pork, not the thin fatty pieces im used to getting in many ramen places. Really good. The show stopper for me was the tacos. I had both the Mole and the Chashu tacos with pork. Omg! My only complaint about the Chashu is its not totally soaked in the mala sauce/mayo. Unreal good! The mole tacos are equally as good. They dont look fancy, but the flavor is off the charts. They have not only become a favorite place for ramen, but for tacos. Great attention to detail, and excellent food. One time there the food took quite a while. It seemed like the owner/manager was not there. The food was still great. So glad they are in beaverton. Im quickly becoming a regular! read more

This place is small, but the service is quick and highly efficient. The last time we were here, we had to wait 15 minutes for our order to arrive, and the manager in charge gave us a $10 off $30 discount coupon, which I thought was very nice. I love the miso ramen, which has different levels of heat. I like mine hot and not very hot because I don't want to get internal burns. I went with pork, and for my accompaniment, I got fish cakes and spinach. This is one of the few places where I completely finish the bowl because the bra is just so tasty, the noodles are not too thick and perfect for the broth, and the pork is very tender. I also got the chili garlic noodles, which is good, but however, the mala spice that they add leaves a lingering taste in my tongue, which I do not prefer. Service however is excellent read more

Decent-tasting food. Was understaffed to just 3 workers so wait time was double what was originally projected. Seating is almost like a free-for-all. Pricing was around $20 for ramen. If they were to clean up the restaurant and figure out the staffing, it would be 4 stars or more. read more

Staff starts discouraging dine in at 7:34pm when they close at 8pm. Ridiculous they tell us we have to order out only. It's ramen and will be ready in less than 10 Minutes. How long do you think it will take us to eat ramen? The woman with all the face piercings is rude and should find a place to work where she isn't dealing with customers. Nice eye roll as we left. My 10 year old even caught it. Btw, went to Jersey Mikes across the way and were done eating by 7:52pm. read more

Very delicious ramen, I got the shio ramen with corn and edamame. The flavor was delicious and very light. Their noodles were also perfectly cooked. There was quite a long wait but our server gave us a voucher for next time which we were very happy about considering how yummy it was! Great ambience inside the restaurant as well. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're a ramen lover! read more

Like that they don't use msg and cause we've already tried their ramen before we decided to get a chicken rice bowl instead. The chicken was not dry and was fresh but the sauce tasted strange - not anything I've ever had before and felt like the seasoning wasn't right for the chicken. I wished there was more veggies too. They also have us free taco coupon and my husband got the ground chicken. Again the seasoning was very unusual and I guess not something we'd like buy the ingredients seemed fresh and again thanks for not using msg! read more

The tacos are generous and delicious, the handmade potstickers are well worth the wait, and Derrick is an excellent representative of this business, promoting new flavors and making sure everything is to your liking. I recently ate here with friends. The service was fast and I enjoyed our appetizers which included spring rolls and mushrooms. We also had an amazing soft Basque like cheesecake as a dessert. Kudos to the appetizers and the dessert. I would definitely come back for them. Cons: The vegetarian ramen was good, but bland. It wasn't as flavorful as I anticipated, which was a bummer. Having gone to Oswego noodle house and FuddoYama ramen (in Beaverton) recently, I just was under the impression that the ramen was going to be as flavorful as those spots, but unfortunately it wasn't. I also ordered one vegan tofu taco. It was small, and a bit underwhelming. Again, not that much flavor - I added my lime for taste, but it was a bit unmemorable and overpriced. It seemed like the ramen and tacos were either very bland or extremely spicy nothing much in-between. If I come back I might have to ask more questions about the menu because the ramen was lacking the flavor I was anticipating. Prices seemed to be high and my friend's tab was well over $40 because she insisted on buying our table a few appetizer plates. Since you pre-order up front, I was thinking the menu would be a tad cheaper. Still hoping prices go down or stay steady since everything has gotten spendy over the past few years. Atmosphere was pretty basic. Glad I tried it, but I wasn't wowed by the ramen or the Asian inspired tofu taco. read more

There was a wait at the AT&T store, so I walked over to have a snack. Temp was in the 80s, so hot ramen was out, but tacos sounded good. Service was super friendly and helpful. I asked for the two most popular tacos and was not disappointed. I had the pineapple mala and the mole. On Tuesdays they're only $3 instead of $5. They were excellent! I had a tea that came in a green can. Not sweet. I liked it. No Ac, but there was a nice breeze with all the windows open. I was checked on and asked how I liked the meal. Was offered more ice for my drink. I was very impressed with this meal and the staff. I will go back. Maybe on a cooler day. read more

This is a fast for ramen, casual spot where you order at the counter before getting seated. We came during the lunch rush and had to wait for a table but the staff is quite courteous and attentive. We ordered the TanTan Ramen, Spicy Miso Ramen, Kid's Ramen, Mole Taco and Chashu Taco. The food was delivered to the table pretty quickly. I thought the heat of the spicy Miso didn't enhance the overall flavor. The TanTan broth was robust and something I would order again. Both tacos were good. While I prefer the Mole Taco the Chashu is kid approved. The service is 5 stars. The food and limited sitting is brings my overall rating to a 4. read more

I was really excited to try this place and finally got the chance to dine in. You order as soon as you enter the restaurant and they eventually serve the ramen bowls to your table. I believe everything is made to order. Seating space is pretty decent, I imagine they might have longer wait times during the night. Overall, the ramen was okay and nothing extraordinary. It came with simple greens and pork. For other toppings like an egg, they charge $1 each. read more

This was my first time ordering food from Kayo's Ramen and I was very impressed by both the wide variety of both vegan and regular options along with the great flavor. I ordered the Vegan Spicy Miso Ramen with zucchini noodles and tofu. The zucchini noodles had a great texture and the dish was overall super flavorful. I also ordered the vegan mole taco. The overall flavor was good but a bit on the sweet side for what I prefer. Overall I enjoyed my experience ordering from here and look forward to trying other dishes in the future. read more

It's cool that they opened a second location out in Beaverton. The model here is order at counter and then take a seat. The wait wasn't too long for us as we saw the ramen coming out pretty quickly for people. We ordered the Tan Tan and a Miso ramen. We also ordered a spicy mala taco. Both of the ramen were good, but I think the Tan Tan was the better one. The taco had some good flavor and was of a good size. The interior is not too big, with about 8 tables or so. read more

May 2, 2025 - a Friday at lunch. Overall, I give it 4/5 stars. Food - They have standard - Shio, Shoyu, and Miso Ramen offerings - which can come with pork, or tofu plus lots of extra vegi options. I liked that they had almost everything in a vegan option. We ordered Spicy Miso with chashu (pork), and Shio with tofu. The Shio flavoring was not what we expected. It's not a traditional Japanese Shio flavor...it was bland and more SE Asian style. The Spicy Miso (Medium), on the other hand, was overpowering, but I was forewarned so I can't really complain. The pork itself was delicious - very tender. In both cases, the serving sizes were a little on the lite side, but you can order extra noodles for a fee. We also got a side order of shitake mushrooms - which were advertised as being wasabi infused, but I couldn't taste the wasabi. I liked the mushroom dish a lot. Service - excellent. The cashier was great. He was very friendly and had spot-on feedback about the entire menu. In my case, I ordered the spicy miso with pork. He waved me off the "super spicy" version, which was fortunate, as the medium had my eyes watering as it was. Ambiance - the restaurant is bright and has big windows facing the kitchen area. There is plenty of space for large crowds and ample parking. Net-net, I will plan to go back and try the standard / non-spicy style. read more

You order right as you enter and seat yourself at this establishment, and the food is then served at your table by the one staff member who greets customers, takes orders, packs to go orders, and also serves the food. Drinks are self service. The vegan menu items feel quite overpriced, at the same price as the meat options. The spice options are impressive, though myself I really only cared for the mole tacos. Not really a place to repeat in my opinion though I was hoping to find myself a new go to spot. read more

The food here at kayos is the main draw for me. Ive been to the Williams st location and its the mothership of ramen goodness. Kayos combines some flavors from all over Asia. The make an amazing mala sauce that goes into their famous mala ramen. They make their own broths, a clear that combines chicken and pork, and a vegan broth that is loaded up with shiitake flavor. If you order it spicy be prepared to eat spicy as they don't pull punches on the spice. A menu sleeper that needs to be discovered are their japon Tacos, crispy bits of chasu pork combined in a high quality corn tortilla topped off with mala sauce mayo is fire! Die die must try!! Service was warm & friendly, staff attentive, and the ambiance was portlandia , energetic, with good tunes snd good vibes all around. No go slurp some noodles and f up some tacos! read more

Had a really good bowl of ramen here the other day during a soft opening. Ordered the Tan Tan with soft boiled egg. The peppercorn wasn't overpowering link I've had at some places. Ordered spicy and it had a nice kick. It's different type of ramen than my usual spots so it's worth adding to my rotation. They have interesting fusion tacos as well. I had the mole which was good and I'll try out the other ones in the next few visits. read more

A very subpar ramen restaurant. For just the base price, all you're getting is soup, noodles, spinach, and your choice of protein. I got the miso ramen with medium heat for $14.50 and my boyfriend ordered the spicy miso ramen for $15.50. Both looked exactly the same, but I guess the spicy miso ramen is a dollar more? Save your dollar and just order the miso ramen with medium heat. If you want more toppings, each one costs $1 more. The soup tasted average and as other people mentioned, it was good, but nothing mind-blowing. Disappointing ramen restaurant, I'd recommend Kizuki instead! read more

The male cashier acted like I was bothering him. I guess it was because he was on his phone. The food was good. But beware! They skimmed me for 2 dollars. I know it sounds petty but it does add up. When you order a Ramen you get a free toppings. It's in the menu!!! And the male cashier charged me. What is the point of advertising 2 free toppings when you are being charged and it was supposed to be 1 dollar. He charged me for the "ADD ONS". Just be watchful and look at your receipt. read more

We've been here several times and it's been a real win for feeding the kids and adults.

VEGAN!! I LOVE that most things on the menu are available in a vegan version. I previously had the Vegan Spicy Miso ramen and this time the Vegan Mala (Hot heat level - it's great you can adjust to your preference) ramen. These broths were super flavorful. The chashu tofu is SO GOOD. My husband got the Vegan Shoyu ramen and thought that broth was too light in flavor, but also loved the chashu tofu. He'll probably go for chashu tofu in some Japon Tacos instead the next time. We also got the Kale potstickers for the first time and they were also delicious! Even my skeptical husband (kale?!) enjoyed these! My wishes: That the ramen portions were a little bigger, and that there were more veggies included. Based on my husband's feedback, the flavor of the vegan shoyu broth could also use a boost. My tips: If you're really hungry, definitely go for some potstickers on the side. I haven't tried any dessert yet (next time!). I'm also one of those that like to keep the broth left over to finish at home later with whatever noodles I have on hand and extend the enjoyment of the meal! read more

Ramen was 3/5 but the tacos stole the show. Not your typical Japanese ramen but still decent. Spinach as a topping was odd but not bad. Noodles were very good but I think the broth could be better. The chashu pork tacos were 5/5. Will be going back for those. I heard great things about the mole tacos but I didn't personally enjoy them. It came cold and was very spicy (to someone who doesn't like spicy food). Not your typical mole favor but my partner and friends seemed to enjoy it. Server was very friendly. Lots of space inside. Good location. Will be going back for tacos but probably not the ramen. read more

Absolutely loved our experience at this new ramen spot! The tan tan and shoyu broth were flavorful. You do have to add some extra toppings like the eggs. While the ramen was great, the real standout were the tacos ($5 each). We tried the mala tacos with pork and tofu and the tan tan tacos with tofu, all bursting with flavor. The owner, Mikey, even surprised us with his favorite, the mole taco with chasu pork, which was absolutely delicious. He told us it was his take on the classic mole with hints of matcha. The pork was smoky, crispy and flavorful--this is a MUST TRY!! Overall, this place is cute with delicious food and friendly service. Would recommend, especially for all the tacos. read more
