I enjoy getting poke bowls from Loco Ono. They have a variety of sizes that you can get, and for me…read morethe smallest one with one protein works great. I also like that you can get rice and the wonton chips versus picking only one as your base. It is the counter style where you choose different things that you want on your Poke bowl. There are a few ingredients like avocado that has the upcharge, but in general, it has less than other places. I personally like the crab and seaweed salad on mine, which isn't everywhere. Ingredients have tasted fresh the times I have ordered bowls. Staff is helpful at asking specific things you want and circling back if you may have missed one of the categories. I usually take mine to go but there is a fair amount of seating to have the food there.

The day of our visit Id enjoy their Chicken Katsu with Curry and Fritzie had a Mixed plate with Garlic Chicken and Katsu. I forgot about their garlic chicken. Their garlic chicken is so good. Each bite was crispy, savory and delicious. On this visit there was something off about their dipping sauce they served with the Katsu. It didn't have that usual smooth flavor. It was slightly more acidic. The curry made better for dipping. The service was quick and despite Fritzie W. changing her mind on a few items, they were still patient and courteous. The restaurant is laid back, and a few patrons eating inside appeared content enjoying their meals. The restaurant seating is basic, seats aren't luxurious or entirely too comfortable but for a quick bite on a week day, you can't complain or shouldn't...only enjoy.

An intimate dining experience that is only open on weekends, This is a spot we can't wait to come back to. Omakase seats 8 at the bar and the sushi chef prepares the nigiri in front of you and explains each fish as it comes out. A lot of the fish is seasonal, and all the fish is flown in fresh from Japan. The sushi chefs is very knowledgeable and very charismatic and isn't afraid to joke around. We appreciate Richy and his sake recommendation. Our top pick 1000% was the A5 Wagyu. It just MELTS in your mouth! We chose this spot to celebrate our anniversary and we think it's going to become a tradition to celebrate here. Overall, can't wait to come back!

I also love eating poke because I feel like I am eating healthier than other choices in restaurants. We came in and no one was in there, but two people came in behind us. The nature of assembling poke bowls is that it takes a minute. There was one worker and she did her best. The look of the assembled bowl was 5/5 top notch! I appreciated that they allowed us to go over and sit at the tables at the sushi place that adjoins it. The only thing missing for me was more flavor, with all those things in there I would think it would be a flavor explosion! I think, for me, it came down to the sauce ratio. I ordered habanero mango sauce and spicy mayo. Maybe more sauce volume would have made it for me. Not sure.
