They've failed on two occasions within that last year to correctly confirm appointments (one time they claimed that my mom gave them an incorrect phone number), and just recently (~April 28th) failed to get back to my mother on test results after 10 calendar days; when we pressed them on the test results delay they responded that the results were negative and therefore it "wasn't critical or important enough" to respond more quickly.

I've only met 1 doctor that I absolutely loved and she was the only reason I continued taking my children. Dr Hough, she was amazing, but once she was finished with school she left as did I. It's extremely annoying to have foreign doctors that can't speak clear English, you will see this quite often here. Their bedside manners need much help. I NEVER got my sick child into see the doctor on the same day, hell I was lucky to get them in during the same week! Now for the ob/gyn department. Same story as pediatrics. Lots of wonderful doctors over the years but all leave as soon as they can. Dr Rhoton Dr Solberg Dr Gooch(both of them, Jennifer & Jason) Dr Vas Dr Franken They all gave me quality healthcare but sadly moved and I could no longer see them. The rest of the staff is nothing special. They aren't friendly and seem to hate their job. I can't stand Texas tech school of medicine and I wouldn't recommend anyone going there. I drive 90 miles because my town does not have a pediatrician. That doesn't matter to the office staff. I am expected to be at their office, usually within 2 hours of my call. So, I have learned to get in the car and start driving, then hope that there is an available appointment. Then, when I arrive I always have at least a 30 minute wait after my schedule d appointment. My time is not respected. However, I called in because I was stuck on the 2 lane highway behind slow moving traffic. I explained that I would be late. I was told not to be more than 15 minutes late. I arrived at exactly 15 minutes after my appointment, and my appointment was cancelled. The office staff on the phone was rude and inconsiderate when I called, and were rude and inconsiderate when I arrived. I have tried twice to change pediatricians because of this.
