Paper work, questions etc. They asked me I want to remember or not:) I said I dont want to remember. Nurses and IV person started to talk to me and I found myself in my home after 6 hours. I remember a little bit of conversations but not details. Like a dream. This is the first shot I got after years. Lets see how it will effect me. After my procedure Doctor Bub was able to get me a quick appointment with a gastrologist that had me on a 6 month waiting list. I learned after meeting with Dr. Bub that he completed his residency at Mt. Sinai which is one of the nation's best Gastroenterology program and ironically where I received my first surgery. I had my first appointment today with Dr. Cassandra Stache…read more She was excellent. The exam was thorough, the explanation regarding what my issue is was educational and interesting. She recommended exercises I do in the morning, explained when to apply heat vs. ice, and even recommended specific brands of shoes that will suit my feet well. She also recommended 2 good topical creams. I highly recommend Dr. Stache.

I had my first follow-up appointment yesterday. The doc got out the photos they took of my toenails…read moreback in January. Clearly progress has been made. The doc clipped my nails way back again with this most recent visit. There is barely anything left that shows that I had toenail fungus. My next appointment is in June. Probably my nails will be completely clear by then. I am going to continue to use the anti-fungal solution and cream, spray my shoes with Lysol from time to time, and that will probably be it. The cost for all of this is reasonable. The laser is really a piece of cake pain-wise. The appointments are brief. The people are friendly. The only thing that may have been a slight negative is I believe the pills I took during the first 30 days made it slightly uncomfortable to swallow for a couple weeks. Maybe it made something in my throat swell a little. But it was bearable. So if you've got toenail fungus, my advice to you is to just deal with it - before it gets worse and becomes a bigger problem. Forget about over-the-counter remedies. Declare all-out war. Go to some professionals like these guys and get the problem solved.
