had a surgery for an ovarian cyst about two months ago now. the surgery went fine, then the first two week apt after was fine. all the sudden i couldnt get in contact with her, and my period was extremeley painful to the point i went to the hospital (same one i had the surgery at) both months due to being sick and pain. still couldnt get in contact with her, then my period was over 10 days late so i was trying to get in contact with her the entire time till finally she calls and tells me to take a pregnancy test and call her back, and eventually went back to the er and took a test both at home and in the hospital and it was negative. but again i couldnt get in contact with her. another couple weeks pass, and im still calling almost every day leaving voicemails. the automated machine just keeps ringing and ringing like no one ever answers the phone. at this point i have gotten my period and it has been gone for at least a week now. finally today i get a call from whoever works there, and then get put on hold for 5 minutes immediately, then the woman who answers next has no idea the situation and just keeps asking for a reason to schedule, and i told her period pain after surgery and i need to see the doctor who did it because its been two months and still i cant get in contact, so she ends up getting argumentative and saying "im the one asking the questions here" "listen here i could be your mother" as if i was being unreasonable, and her tone was so demeaning and belittling. she wouldnt schedule me an appt and just kept asking me the same questions over and over and over and when i answered she would argue with me or act confused, when i was being clear that i just wanted to see a doctor in person!! i am tired of being ignored and mistreated after you operated on me. would not recommend to anyone and am gonna find a new gyno because this is just disgusting treatment. update - manager Stacey called me and i said i havent been able to contact yall since my surgery and she said "why because you couldnt pick up the phone or" and i said "ive been blowing up yalls phone and leaving messages and all it does is ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring no response" and she goes "okay you're not gonna talk to me like that" so i said f u and hung up this was my first surgery and i was experiencing pain after, and all i got in response to trying to schedule an appointment was arguments. read more

Dr. Delaney, NP Jackie and the staff are amazing. I have been going to Dr. Delaney for years and I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism of the office. Sometimes you have to wait but that is to be expected as the sole practitioner. I'd rather wait here then at a doctors office that runs like a factory. You are not a number here! Dr. Delaney has to be one of the best Gynecology Dr's in the world. She is open and really cares when you talk to her. I had an operation with her and she was so patient to make sure I understood everything as well as really walked my family thru the whole process before, during and after. I hate to go to the Gynecologists but if you have to go, at least this Dr makes it better! read more

I was really excited to transfer my care over to Dr. Delaney's office after a great deal of research and all of the positive things other patients, and the website, had to say. One particular thing that attracted me to her practice, was the note on her website that she welcomes patients who do their own research (over-googling, bad habit of mine) and ask a lot of questions. Coming with a traumatic start to my pregnancy, I had a list of questions at my first meeting with Dr. Delaney. However, despite the fact that it was my very first time meeting her, she was in and out of the room within five minutes and I was not given the opportunity to ask any questions. She did make a comment that she prides herself on bringing people in and out so quickly. I guess that does work well for some, but it wasn't for me. My husband and I also declined any genetic screening from the very beginning and signed papers that we were declining any genetic screening. However, when I was sent for "routine blood work" I was not told that it would include cystic fibroid testing (genetic testing), for which I now owe a bill for about $700. Maybe - hopefully - I just started my care there at a bad time. But, I have since moved on to a place who offers more opportunities for better communication. read more

Edit: I am giving a revised rating solely based on my wife's recent experience with the birth of our newborn. This review reflects purely on the doctor. She is very good and has a lot of experience to ensure that that the process of child delivery a breeze. I wish the practice addresses the concerns mentioned below to make it as a good wholesome experience to new parents. Earlier: There are many reasons why I have given a 3 rating and let me give it as pros and cons so that you don't make the same mistake as I did. Pros: The doctor is good. Cons: 1. They never keep up with the appointment. It's usually 45 mins of wait past the appointment time to meet the doctor or the CRNP. 2. This is a one physician clinic and hence you will not be able to meet the doctor if the doctor is busy delivering babies at the nearby hospital. The staff at the practice dont even tell you that the doctor is not there so you just have to wait. 3. They dont give you a heads up if the doctor isn't available and hence it's a guessing game. read more

My primary care physician steered me here, and boy was he right! Dr. Delaney, NP Jackie and the entire office are great! I started going here for typical yearly exams and now am going here for maternity care and expect Dr. Delaney to deliver our baby. I've mentioned her to friends, and those who have had her have only had glowing things to say. I know this will only pertain to a small percentage of patients, but Dr. Delaney is completely comfortable with gay patients and helped my partner and me get started on the maternity journey when we told her we were ready. She really helped us out more than I anticipated. read more

We had a very bad experience with Dr. Delaney! I came to know about this doctor from one of my friend, though I saw mixed reviews in google about this doctor but still I opted. I will explain in detail, what has happend to us. This happend in 2017. Till my wife was 5month pregnant, everything is going normal. In every visit we got normal updates about my baby boy heart beat and growth etc... But in 24th week(Aug 2017), what had happened we don't know my wife is urinating in frequent intervals and we are very much concerned. Dr. Delaney suggested not to drink more water, and mentioned that baby weight may put pressure on bladder due to which you will urinate frequently. We even asked about, can we go for ultra sound they suggested not required.Several times I asked them, what is going wrong and why my wife was urinating continuously, they don't have correct answer but just mentioned everything is normal. Went back home and we had same issue but this time we didn't call doctor immediately, we thought let us wait for one day. Then on Tuesday we called doctor again, she suggested to visit their office. One nurse and even Dr. Delaney did some test and they didn't find anything. We even asked, is there any medicine, and why it is happening like this, they just mentioned there is no medicine, it is going to comedown. Because of the continuous urination(since 4 days) my wife is getting tired and because of office work pressure I am unable to cope up with the situation. Then finally on Thursday, I called Dr. Delaney I felt something is going wrong then Delaney suggested visit ER. The staff gave Glucose to maintain the energy and did some urine tests. Some other doctor had come and performed some test and mentioned everything was normal. Even did Ultrasound in ER and they mentioned everything was perfectly fine. This process went till 1-2pm. We were there in office till 3pm. Suddenly what happen we don't know, they suggested to go for one more ultra sound in other building which is near to Dr. Delaney office. We got a shocking news, mentioning that complete water is leaked around the baby and there is only little water left. They suggested on the spot we should join the hospital and surgery can happen at any moment. You can understand, how was mine and my wife's reaction. They even mentioned, they can't give guarantee of my baby boy after surgery. I have to control my emotions and can't even get angry on them. I asked them why you people didn't find this issue since Sunday(day one I visited ER).They don't have answer. We joined the hospital on the same day without any plan, they continued with steroids(to build lungs for baby) for two days. They took sign on a document to opt for a kind of surgery either C section or Normal. They even mentioned with normal delivery it is very danger to both mother and baby. As my wife got some pains(not labor pains) after two days and she is unable to control. Even Dr. Delaney and staff are not aware of those pains. I told Dr. Delaney we will go with surgery and she even suggested the same. Somehow instead of C section, at the last moment the operation went normal(not sure, if something happes to my wife,as they mentioned it is danger with normal surgery) not C section. We had a baby boy. But the happy moments are not quite long for us, because of premature my baby boy had some complications and we have to move him to CHOP(Philadelphia) on very emergency basis. My Baby boy struggled a lot because of other complications, and now he is no more. He left this world and us on November 8th. I feel the staff does not have enough knowledge on the things going on... Please tell me, who is wrong here and what went wrong with us. I don't know whom to blame here. I feel 2017 is one of the saddest years in my whole life and I never forget. I am posting this review to make sure, at least someone will be cautious to make a decision before visiting here. read more

Alright, the customer service behind the desk at this place is pretty bad. No one greets you, even when you call. It's "Can I help you?" Not "how can I help you?" And even less friendly conversation for the duration. It's the little things like this that had me second guessing whether or not I made a mistake coming to this practice for a routine gynecological exam and PAP. The wait was long. BUT, once I was taken back to the exam room, my impression was changed by the NP. She's so nice. I could've sworn her name was Julie, but it may be Jackie who I'm thinking of. Either way, the service behind the doors is beyond better than the front desk. So if you can get through that, you'll be fine. I definitely noticed that patients who seemed to be returns were getting better treatment than I was as a new patient. Which is ridiculous, but whatever. I hope the front desk steps up their game for their patient's sake. read more

I went to Dr Delaney, based off of two different recommendations, when I found out I was pregnant with my first child. I was skeptical as a first time mom, which I would have been no matter where I chose to go- how do you trust someone you never met with the birth of your first child? When we got to the office for our first appointment, the waiting room was completely over crowded, some may be annoyed by this, but to me, that's a good sign. After meeting the staff and NP Jackie, my nerves were at ease. A few appointments later I was finally able to meet Dr Delaney. She instantly made my fiancé and I feel 100% comfortable and we knew we were in good hands. I had the most smooth, easy going, stress free pregnancy and delivery all thanks to Delaney. She was absolutely AMAZING and was by my side every step of the way during delivery (which I was told by a friend isn't always the case. Some doctors just show up when the baby is about to come out, but she was there even before I was ready to start pushing). I am now pregnant with my second, and couldn't imagine going to anyone else. I will say- the only negative thing is the amount of time you have to wait when you arrive for your appointments, but trust me it's worth it! read more

First I would like to start off by saying I have been going to doctor Delaney and nurse Jackie for about 7 years and have always received adequate treatment. Until now... I am a first time mom and like many moms was very excited for my first trimester ultrasound which oddly enough is conducted in their office instead of with an ultrasound technician however I still had high hopes of seeing a clear picture of my baby on the screen and being assured my little one was healthy. What I got was horrendous treatment and nothing like what I was expecting from a professional doctor who has practiced in this field for many years. When my ultrasound began dr Delaney told me the machine was brand new so I was excited that it was new technology and I would be able to see a great view. She scanned my stomach and I saw basically nothing but my full bladder and a little black ball. No arms, no legs, no head and only got to see a flicker of a heartbeat for 3 seconds before she scanned off. All the while she was telling me how she didn't even know how to use the machine yet. She didn't zoom in or anything so I didn't even get to see my baby. I asked her what the heart rate was and she responded that she didn't know because she doesn't know how to use the machine. Surely, I I would hope they would have given her proper training on how to perform an ultrasound since that is part of her job. I was sorely mistaken. She also told me I could take a picture of the screen since there was no printer and I pulled out my phone to take a picture and boom the ultrasound was over and I got no picture not that the picture would have been on anything besides my bladder since she doesn't even know how to use her own equipment!!!! She only scanned my stomach for 1 min and 30 seconds TOPS and all of that time she had NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS DOING. Then it came the time where she asked if I had any questions to ask. So since I hadn't even seen my baby on the screen I asked her "does everything look okay at least?" Where she responded "oh honey, I'm not G.O.D." She repeated this line at least 3 times and went on to say she couldn't tell me what would happen and that 5% of pregnancies end in miscarriage and she deals with 3 Miscarriages a week. I couldn't believe what I was hearing all I wanted to know was that my baby was okay and this is the response I received. This was supposed to be my first trimester appointment which can be a special thing for many first time moms and it happened in all of 5 minutes. She made no time for me, rushed through the whole thing and left me with more anxiety than I had before walking in. Also they never did a fetal heart assessment or measured my belly which i just found out from my new doctor should have been performed as well as at least a 45 min appointment. Clearly I know u aren't G.O.D. Dr Delaney but you are a doctor specializing in pregnancy therefore you should be able to put me at ease and let me know everything is okay. It sickens me the treatment I received and I called a different obgyn almost immediately as I knew I would never step foot in that office again. Next time before you give a botched ultrasound or tell someone you aren't God maybe you should think about how that makes a patient, let alone a first time mother feel. I'm sickened by my treatment I received here. Don't go here unless you want the same treatment. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Delaney's for the last one year and recently gave birth to twins through a scheduled c-section at 38w1d. I had a high risk pregnancy due to advanced maternal age (36+), gestational diabetes and the fact that I was expecting multiples and Dr. Delaney's deep knowledge and her helpful attitude enabled me to take the twins to full term. Not only is Dr. Delaney an outstanding expert in her field of medicine, but she is also dedicated to helping her patients 24/7 - I was able to text or call her with urgent questions at any time of the day, nights and weekends and she promptly responded to me. Several times I needed to come into her office to get an unscheduled checkup and her staff members always went out of their way to find me a slot in her busy schedule. On couple of occasions, the doctor even personally let me into her office during lunchtime and gave me a checkup as I was running late from my scan appointment at MFM. In addition to being a caring OB/GYN, Dr. Delaney is an excellent surgeon and thanks to her, I had such a good experience with my c-section. The scarring is minimal and she definitely made this major abdominal surgery look absurdly simple! Above all I was touched by Dr. Delaney's pleasant bedside manners and charismatic personality. She always had the right advice and words of encouragement for me. My husband and I looked forward to meeting her and even though she was busy, she found time to hear us out and exchange pleasantries with us. Sometimes the wait is a bit long in her office but that is only because Dr. Delaney is attending to emergencies of her other patients, which goes to prove that she has her priorities set right. I am very fortunate to have had Dr. Delaney before and during my pregnancy and will gladly recommend her to anybody who wants to be treated by the best - it is more than worth the wait. read more

I went to Dr Delaney prior to getting married and unless you are planning on going on the pill, I would not recommend her. I told her the pill was not an option for me and she kept sneering at me like "you should just go on the pill". She was not very helpful working through other options with me and I felt like it was a race against the clock. After the appointment I was crying as a young almost newlywed to my future husband telling him how awkward and uncomfortable it was. Then i called the office on my honeymoon with a question and all she could tell me was that I needed to come in, and I told her that was not possible I was away on my honeymoon and I just had a question and she wouldn't answer over the phone. Needless to say I never went there again and with my new gyn I've never had any problems and they respected my choices. This was about 3 years ago now but I felt it was necessary to write since Yelp is more common now. read more
