Just grabbing a quick drink in the bar area. My first time seeing Goldcoast QLD and I just wanted to Yelp a place near the ocean. A coastal beach Hamptons-type of scene. The decor is all wicker lampshades, bamboo ceilings, nautical murals on the walls, and dried grass hanging from the ceiling. Cocktails are in the $20-22 range (typical for touristy beach places). They serve green smoothies and tea but unfortunately in the evening you can't order those drinks as it is just for breakfast. The bar service was ok although the bartender Lach Lann seemed to be a bit out of it when I asked him questions about the drink menu. I also ordered a lime and bitters which he made and just set down. I had to remind me to ring me up. Maybe he was having a long day. The music and vibes are really chill. Nice place. There is a pool table too.

    Yummy açaí bowl!

First off let's talk location, great location right off the main beach row. It was easy to get to from my hotel (mantra crown towers) and close to the main area for shops and other food. The wait staff were good but pretty busy, they seemed a bit over whelmed which was odd because my trip was in winter so it's the slow time. The seating was nice in general but not super comfortable. Over all it was a good eating experience though. Now for food, I've had a few of these bowls at different places and this was pretty traditional but that's a good thing. It was well done, everything was presented well, was fresh and tasted good. My traveling buddy had eggs Benedict and that was a bit of a miss. Not bad but not great I was told. Prices were reasonable for the area, about what I would expect. Over all I would eat there again if and when I'm back in the area.

A beautiful breakfast spot overlooking the ocean right by Surfer's Paradise Beach. We stumbled upon this place during our early morning walk by the beach. There are a lot of tourists here (I was obviously one of them). Even early in the morning there are a lot of people eating, swimming, and walking around the area. I love the Brazilian acai bowl here. It was filling and refreshing. A good option if you want a lighter meal and you don't want eggs for breakfast. It takes a while for them to bring your food but that might be part of the laid back lifestyle here.

Absolute pleasure having breakfast at Sandbar! The terrace offers fantastic view. And staff are friendly and quick. Love to come again someday.

Add the roasted tomato on the side, it's worth it.

Such a sweet little cafe right on the beach. Amazing coffee. Also, the best servers I've had in the week I've spent in Surfers Paradise. Had the Benny with mushrooms and it was delightful. The good is amazing affordable for how good it is. Try the Black Hops beer when you go. They have canned selections and tap. Can't wait to go back.

We loved this place so much we came back twice. When you walk in you can either choose the cafe option or the breakfast buffet - we went straight to the buffet twice because it was so worth it. It's not a massive range of food by any means - it was just enough. You get your usual eggs and toast and sausages etc, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt. There's also a few coffee machines with buttons which were amazing for instant coffee gratification. The outdoor dining area was perfect for people watching as well.

Had the breakfast buffet, can't go wrong for $17AU!! There was a good range of food, decent selection of drinks including coffee and juice. The pancakes were definitely a high light for us!! Would definitely eat here again

Great food and portions, for a reasonable price. Great options for gluten-intolerant diners.

It was good, lots of people, located nice to the beach. I ordered only a matcha, not the best. Friendly staff.

Yuck! For the price I expected something tasty, at a stretch it should have at least been edible.

While I was getting bounced around like a pinball (due to the crowded nature of the main walkway to…read morethe bar), I was already planning what my Yelp review would focus on. The large number of people enjoying the beats? The unfortunate high quantity of gentlemen dancing on the mini stages that I can only assume were intended for ladies to use? The eclectic mix of music (ranging from house to samba)? Left to ponder all these questions, I approached the bar and asked for a drink. As an American, I noted my bartender's winning smile and the Dwayne Wade Miami Heat jersey she was wearing. As she turned around to get my beer, I also noticed she was not wearing any pants. I quickly glanced around and noticed that none of the bartenders or servers were wearing any pants (opting instead to wear skimpy bottoms that seemed more suited for the beach that was a block away). I really need to start paying better attention to my surroundings. Pros: Good mix of music (i.e not just strictly the same top 40 stuff) Fun crowd Large space Hot bartenders Cons: Although the overall space in the club is large, the dance area was fairly compact and crowded

It was packed in there like sardines but no surprise there it is a night club. I have been to bars all over world but even I was shocked by how shitty the service was there, which I will explain in a minute. So when I went in we were given a ticket for one free drink so I figured how bad can it be. So I go to wait for my drink for almost 10 minutes and I notice all the female bartenders are dressed as 2 bit strippers wearing some ugly ass gold swimsuits, then I hear in a sarcastic screech voice "Hello!,hello!" finally a blonde bartender gave me some service. I gave her the drink ticket after she got me a BEER and she pulled the drink back and said "NO ITS FOR SHOTS AND MIXED DRINKS ONLY" I thought WTF since beer is cheaper than liquor. So I give her cash then have to wait for "Barbie" to give me my change since they had one register for the entire section of the bar. My English buddy Ali that I from my Contiki tour told me 20 minutes later after we got the hell out of there told me his bartender a petite asian gal was rude to him as well. Worst bar/club I have ever been in my life. Whore ompa-loompas are horrible bartenders.

It's a rarity to find a pub or bar in the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise where the staff actually enjoy working there. It definitely makes a difference to the venue's vibe! The bar staff also enjoy a good chat and a bit of banter across the bar and this is one of the few Irish pubs in Surfers that actually employees Irish people! Not only adding to the atmosphere, but it means there are staff who can actually pour a good pint of Guinness! There is live music most nights of the week from 9pm, with a band on every Friday and Saturday night. True to their roots there is also traditional Irish entertainment there every Sunday afternoon. In terms of food it has a great range of pub style food at great prices. I've found the food to always be amazing, even the specials (usually $10-15) are spot on! You definitely can't go past the $10 steaks that they do for lunch and dinner! One of the main things that I LOVE about the food here is that they stick to what they're good at; good quality pub-style food at a reasonable price! This is a great pub that caters for everyone, from families, to older couples and young 20-somethings looking for a good night out, there is something for everyone in Fiddlers. This is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of the owners and management! See you there!
