I have been to bars all over world but even I was shocked by how shitty the service was there,which I will explain in a minute. So when I went in we were given a ticket for one free drink so I figured how bad can it be. So I go to wait for my drink for almost 10 minutes and I notice all the female bartenders are dressed as 2 bit strippers wearing some ugly ass gold swimsuits,then I hear in a sarcastic screech voice "Hello!,hello!" finally a blonde bartender gave me some service. I gave her the drink ticket after she got me a BEER and she pulled the drink back and said "NO ITS FOR SHOTS AND MIXED DRINKS ONLY" I thought WTF since beer is cheaper than liquor. So I give her cash then have to wait for "Barbie" to give me my change since they had one register for the entire section of the bar. My English buddy Ali that I from my Contiki tour told me 20 minutes later after we got the hell out of there told me his bartender a petite asian gal was rude to him as well. The bar staff also enjoy a good chat and a bit of banter across the bar and this is one of the few Irish pubs in Surfers that actually employees Irish people! Not only adding to the atmosphere, but it means there are staff who can actually pour a good pint of Guinness! There is live music most nights of the week from 9pm, with a band on every Friday and Saturday night. True to their roots there is also traditional Irish entertainment there every Sunday afternoon. In terms of food it has a great range of pub style food at great prices. I've found the food to always be amazing, even the specials (usually $10-15) are spot on! You definitely can't go past the $10 steaks that they do for lunch and dinner!
