Last year, I hired a couple professional painters from next door with great reviews but I was NOT happy with the final results. The work was ok. Some of the work... I'm touching up or repainting. The vendors were nice guys. This year I found Sean on instagram and he has a lot of great reviews online. So we hired Sean to paint a couple interior rooms, a back door and trim. During our walk through with Sean we learned that the kitchen cabinets were painted with house paint, not cabinet paint. This was before we bought the house and there was evidence of the paint chipping off. Sean suggested refinishing the cabinets. We were going back and forth on redoing the whole kitchen and starting from scratch. However, besides the prior poor paint job, the original kitchen cabinets are in great condition and we liked that they were the original cabinets. So we decided to also have him refinish our kitchen cabinets. Sean and his team did such a great job for us. They were punctual, easy to work with, kind, extremely clean, great communication and they are perfectionist! They really take great pride in the quality of their work. The quality of their work reminds me of my old painter of many years that retired. He was also a perfectionist. Our cabinets came out beautiful, they look like brand new cabinets and the finish looks so good. The other interior rooms, door and trim came out perfect. We are extremely happy with the end product.

He was also really helpful when I was having difficulty at the 11th hour deciding on two different shades of blue for my kitchen. Sean will not try to make your decision FOR you, but is great at explaining things to take into consideration when considering color and finish so you can make the best decision for yourself. Sean, Tito, and Richard did fantastic work, especially on the more tedious trim work, including my French doors. They were on time, pleasant, polite, and very professional at each visit. They never left a mess and moved everything back to its rightful place when they were done. Sean even helped me hang some of my wall art before they left. Anytime I tried to reach the company, "Johnny J" (owner) always answered, friendly as could be. He explained the process from beginning to end, starting with why the wood needs a couple days in the home before installation. I don't know much about installing floors but I really felt like he was doing it right and not rushing to make the sale or get it done. The workers were fast and meticulous when it came to their work and cleanliness. I paid a extra to have them rip out the carpet, something I could have done my own, but nice to have someone else do for you and haul it away. Choosing a color stain was a challenge and I probably annoyed "Johnny" with my indecision, but ultimately with his advice I chose the best color for my home. Dogs and Hardwood Floors... I have TWO large dogs and they are rough on the floors but you would never know it. They've held up beautifully and again, Johnny's experience came into play as he consulted me with what finish to go with that would show the least amount a "dog nail" wear and tear. If you're in the market or having a tough time picking between two installers, I don't think you can go wrong with All American Hardwood Floors. Carlos was easily available via text and phone and after a few exchanges, we were able to agree to a fair price. Prior to the job, Carlos sent me a COI as needed by the building. On the day of, Carlos arrived promptly with another employee along with all the equipment and material. After showing him the problem areas, he assured me that the job would be done to my satisfaction and he certainly kept his word.
