Marian honored his price even though we didnt choose him for flooring. He rearranged his schedule to accomodate mine. He and his colleague came out the following day earlier than expected. After walking through the project for over an hour before getting started, it was determined that the goal I wanted wasnt going to work. Marian gave me recommendations and left without charging me for his time. I felt bad so I asked if he can move the floors upstairs. After he finished moving floors he said I dont have to pay him if I dont want to. Never have I seen a contractor as honest as Marian and turn down a payment. I will definetly call him for future projects.

My husband and I had a free design consultation with Tony from EA Home Designs, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Tony showed up 30 minutes late without a call or text to let us know he'd be delayed. From the start, his demeanor came across as patronizing and dismissive -- particularly toward me as a woman. When he asked what kind of newel posts for the stairs I wanted and I replied "square," he snapped, raising his voice, "NO, I'm talking about the posts." I then showed him a picture -- of square posts -- which made it clear I knew exactly what I was referring to. As a professional engineer living in an affluent area, I was genuinely shocked by his tone and attitude. The contrast between how he spoke to my husband versus how he spoke to me was noticeable and uncomfortable. His behavior came across as misogynistic and condescending to me as a woman, which has no place in a professional design consultation. Later, when scheduling our design review, we told him we could come to their Sterling office three weeks from that day -- the soonest we were available. He snapped again, criticizing that timeframe as "too far away." Yet on the day of the appointment, after we'd planned our day and were preparing to drive an hour to Sterling, he called just 10 minutes before our appointment to say he couldn't make it. Lastly, he came to take measurements and took minimal measurements. We've had multiple quotes from other companies. Tony had the nerve to ask us for a floor plan, rather than taking physical measurements like he was supposed to. He must have realized this later - canceling our appointment to view the renderings of our project on our appointment day given how ill prepared he was. Between the unprofessional communication, attitude, and lack of respect for our time, this was one of the most unpleasant experiences we've had with a home design company. I initially scheduled the consultation because I liked their Instagram designs and frequent ads, but this interaction made it clear that great marketing doesn't equal great service. EA Home Designs should reconsider who they send out to represent their brand -- especially for projects worth $50K and up. Respect and professionalism matter. We will be taking our business elsewhere. We really were hoping they'd be the one stop shop for all of our home projects.

They simply glued trim in between our dining room and kitchen and almost immediately it lifted off. Since then, we've had to nail and fix it several times ourselves. The only reason we went with this company is because the previous owner used them to install the kitchen flooring and wanted to match it. We paid them over $40,000 for a major installation and were left with unfinished job, poor workmanship, and complete stonewalling from management. After our sales point of contact Yamah stopped responding to calls and texts, we visited and called the store repeatedly. This is when we discovered after months of Yamah making excuses, he retired without passing on our file. Every employee promised management would reach out. No one ever did. Desperate for a resolution, we sent a Certified Letter via USPS directly to store management outlining critical issues: two uninstalled vanities, uninstalled closet doors in two rooms, unstable kitchen cabinets, missing toe kicks, work quality issues, and dangerous trim undercuts. They ignored the certified letter entirely. No call, no email, no effort to fix their mistakes. They show total disregard for their customers and their own contractual obligations.
