He came in and measured, suggested we install over the existing tile, and told me he would have the estimate to me by noon the next day. Noon came, no estimate. Then he said it would be the end of the day. End of the day came, no estimate. Then he said it would be the next day. Next day ended, no estimate. Same the next day. Finally got our estimate. I asked if we could schedule work. He said he was on vacation but would get back to me within a week with a scheduled date. End of the week came, no scheduled date. Then he said he would let me know by Monday. Monday came, no scheduled date. Then he went on about how they can't schedule a solid date because of unforeseen events and because the contractors they use don't actually know when they can do the project until four days prior. But for about three weeks I was told "about two weeks". My daughter and I are disabled. We needed to make sure we were not in the house during installation, which meant I had to request time off work and we had to make plans. Which you obviously can't do if you have no solid date. This went on for weeks with him not being communicative or keeping any of his word, ever. Not one thing he said would happen actually happened. Finally get a date, but I'm told that it's not solid (even though it's literally in the contract). I told him about our unique situation, and his response was, "It really won't be that big of a deal. It should not inconvenience you." Which is not how you respond to a disabled person explaining their disabilities. The day comes. The installer tells us we need to avoid the room (which is our living room) for about three days because of the fumes. I was not told this ahead of time and this is pertinent as it relates directly to our disabilities. I inquired with Tony. His response? "I don't know much about tile installations." I told him this has nothing to do with carpet being installed over tile, it has to do with the adhesive being used. His response? "I know." Then why was the tile comment a relevant response to my concern? Carpet gets installed. Then, one or two days later, it lifts. All the edges came right up. It's as if they cut the carpet in the shape of the room and just set it down. It is not tacked down on any edge. Tony's response? "Oh it's a tile installation. Those are harder." Regardless the carpet should not be lifting. At this point I'd asked to speak with the owner repeatedly and Tony mostly ignored my request. He said he would send someone out that day to fix it. I followed up three hours later. "Oh it won't actually be today, sorry." I'd had it. I told him it needs to be today as this is now a safety issue for my daughter, and I demanded to speak with the owner again (with still no acknowledgment of that request). Installers came late that day. Tony said it would take them an hour. After 2 1/2 hours, it was 10pm and they finally finished. But they openly stated they didn't move the couch or fix the area behind the couch. And the carpet started lifting again the next morning. The owner finally called me. He came and walked the project. He saw the issues. He came and brought someone to fix them himself. They stapled all the edges down. I still had to pay full price for all of this. Cost over $3,000, and that does not feel like a fair price for the quality of work I received. I have no confidence the carpet will stay down over time. Guess we will see. Work with another company. I've done enough home projects and flooring projects to know this is not how it should go on any level.

This past week we had them come in to remove tile from the foyer and replace it with wood and refinish the bamboo flooring we found when removed the vinyl flooring. Carl gave us a fair quote. The new wood arrived and was then Caesar showed up to do the floors. Under the tile he found beautiful parquet flooring that he was able to refinish. Carl requoted us and we oil back the ordered wood without issue. The flooring turned out fantastic. If I had more flooring to refinish I would definitely call Carl again.

-Reliable -Quick Installation…read more-Thoughtful installation -Best price quote BY FAR on multiple floors compared to companies from Indy, Anderson/Muncie and Kokomo(I went everywhere looking for the perfect floor!) -Best installation quote -Ethical and trustworthy personality -Hard worker I found his shop just randomly passing by and found flooring I loved there. He got me the best quote by far from anyone I had asked. Unfortunately when he called back to the manufacturer to get the amount I needed, they had discontinued the flooring and had a few hundred sq ft. Less than what I needed. He worked for 2-3 more days trying to acquire more of the flooring from different sources, but we still ended up a bit shy. Meanwhile any of the flooring stores I checked with confirmed it was discontinued and they didn't have any either. His hard work to really try to get that floor for me impressed me. I found another flooring I liked and he worked hard to get me the best price on that floor and he did, in comparison for my square footage, he saved me thousands. So, best price, BY FAR. Then, asking for installation, he charged way under anyone else. I felt super comfortable with him doing installation since the majority of his work if flooring restoration-he's obviously very knowledgeable in flooring. I wasn't wrong, he took so many extra thoughtful steps to help make sure everything looked AMAZING in our house. Installation took a couple days because we did almost 2k square feet. He was so considerate as he started new rooms, if he didn't finish them for the night, he made sure to leave them livable so we could still get to our beds and sleep for the night. I felt comfortable with his crew to leave during the day while they were installing as well. They were all nice, professional and trustworthy. I will definitely use Louis in the future. There was literally nothing I didn't like and our floors look....amazing!! I only have one picture not on my phone, but it all looks as perfect as this photo!

I highly recommend going to look at the slabs so yuh can see the wife degree of styles, movement and color tones even within the same type of stone. I worked with Kira. She was friendly and very helpful in explaining different types of finishes and care. Lily at the front desk is cheerful and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. I suggest calling to make sure someone is available to go in the show room with you as customers are not allowed alone. Closed toed shoes work best but not necessary. This is a working warehouse so be prepared for dust and forklifts. Be sure to take a sample of your choice home with you. Samples are free and work great to pick other coordinating items in your projects. Also view the cut edge styles to really get a great idea of the perfect style. When the measurer came to my house he was excellent!! He took his time to help me make overhand decisions and offered terrific ideas. I appreciated his honesty and knowledge base. The quality of the main products sold here were good. That's why they initially had a higher…read morerating from me. But the installers, including the plumbers and the affiliated products were not that good. We had several attempts by the installers of the countertops to get them level without leaving damage to our existing walls and back splash. They kept sending the same guys to fix what they couldn't figure out the first time. Very frustrating though we love the way it looks now. About a month later, the new garbage disposal (underpowered) started leaking and fortunately my wife had a plastic tub that caught most of the draining water or our cabinets would have been ruined. We ended calling our preferred plumber to fix the problem which cost us additional fees. The housing of the subpar disposal leaked and let the water from the sink down into the area where the motor and power supply were and it then drained into the cabinet. Good thing the power doesn't stay on except for when in use. We hardly put anything down the disposal with the exception of some vegetable trimmings. No silverware or items known to be bad for disposals. My wife is trying to get a refund for the defective disposal. I think the store could use some re-evaluation of its subcontractors to improve their overall customer experience. Rev. #58

Our experience with Kitchen Master was great from start to finish - which is saying something…read morebecause they patiently waited for us to get our cabinets installed for over a year after our initial countertop meeting and purchase (supply chain issues impeded our cabinets from IKEA which delayed everything else). Sydney helped us with choosing our countertop and later with choosing a backsplash. She was great about touching base with us periodically as we waited for our kitchen to get finished and was always friendly and punctual. The guys who installed the countertop worked quickly and it looked amazing. They were also friendly and helpful with a few hiccups on our end of things. Finally, James came over every day for about a week and installed our backsplash and it is beautiful. He was really kind and didn't mind our toddler constantly talking to him and saying hi which really meant a lot to me. It was nice having someone so pleasant in our home and not feeling awkward about it. We were so happy with Kitchen Master and I absolutely recommend them for anything you might need!
