Frustrating experience today. I was the first are in the car wash today and the machines wouldn't turn on. After 20 min staff running around they only rinsed off my car and gave me a refund. They wanted to give me a voucher that expires today! I wasted any free time this morning waiting for the employees to figure it out. All that hassle and my car looking worst than it did when I arrived (because they only rinsed). I would have expected more given the huge inconvenience. read more

Since Im OCD with cleanliness, keeping my car clean and sparkly is top priority, and surf thru, particularly this location (since they have 4 in Fresno) is my first choice for its friendly and smiley service from their staff, great performing car washing machines, clean and fresh looking establishment, fair prices (Ultimate $12, Epic $9, and express $6) and great amenities (bathroom, vacuums, vending machine for car essentials). I would really recommend the ultimate at least once a month, its worth the price and keeps your car really clean and you even get a free air freshener, news paper and bag. Just make sure to bring single bills and coins if you plan to use the vending machine, or alternatively you could purchase it at the stand where you pay for your car wash. But don't get confused that they don't accept card for payment because they do, its just the vending machines that doesn't accept cards yet. Ive never been disappointed with the car wash service here. My car would normally come out sparkly clean like the dish out of a dishwasher with no scratches or problems so far. On my recent visit, my car was so dirty and shameful after not washing it for 2 weeks- just imagine the dust, bird crap, bug splatter and grime. But after the $12 ultimate car wash, all of it was almost gone. I don't expect 100% tough stains removal, 98% is good enough for me. But with a quick rub of the cloth, my car was bug splatter free. The vending machine is absolutely useful, but remember to bring small change or coins to buy the stuff or alternatively buy them from the counter you pay, because they carry them too and accept card payment for it. They sell everything from, interior wipes, clothes, air freshener and sponges to tire polisher. The amenities of free vacuums also helps me keep my interior spotless and clean, and their vacuum is really nice and strong, will suck up every dust and sand grain that got into your car. They also have a compressed mini blower to get the water spots and also tough dust area. Their bathroom is also kept clean and odorless here, which is convenient if you really need to go. Overall a great clean facility that does the job to clean your car well. Their monthly subscription of unlimited ultimate plan is worth it, with only $29.99. Ive used it, and I can wash my car every day if I wished to, its really a great plan that pays itself after 3 washes, which I would normally do anyways. read more

The go-to-place for the best drive thru wash for the price. This is my place to keep my car fresh weekly and the reason is why this place doesn't get a full set of stars Is the shadiness that was shown on 1/2/2015 in under 10 minutes. The bad stuff was I seen two vehicles enter the vacuum section without being paid customers. First vehicle (white Impala) getting a free vacuum use and a second vehicle was an SUV (black Tahoe) trying to sell blankets and other misc. items. I did not like that at all, I don't give a damn about people like that because I spent almost $13.00 on an ultimate wash to use the services just for some cheapskate knuckleheads to ruin my experience. I did manage to speak to the workers and explained the situation. I visited this location on January 10, 2024 at about 7:15 PM. I went to the self pay lane and was directed quickly to enter. The two employees both sprayed my car which had bird droppings on the corner of the windshield. I waited but soon realized they only spray the car off before it enters. I did not stress because I had spent $17 for the ultimate wash. I proceeded through the wash and noticed that the bird droppings were still on the windshield so I drove to the wash entrance only to be told that I could not enter again without going back through the payment lane. I advised the staff member that I had entered this way before and he walked away leaving another employee who agreed with my decision to come back. The staff member returned and made excuses why the wash did not remove the droppings and say they don't brush cars during pre soak. I explained to him that I normally do Ride and Shine and have no issues and it's less money. He agreed to let me re enter after seeing my receipt twice I finally gave him the receipt to keep and told him I would not be back again! This visit could have been made right at the start it's not like I wanted anything for free. If any manager or franchisee reads this please take the time to check your staff. These people will cost you money and reputation. Please answer this question What is your idea of customer service? Why is it the more people pay the less they are supposed to expect? Be careful of their faulty equipment! Half way through the wash, the car behind us slammed into our car. The car wash was stopped after we honked our horn. Employees told us there was no damage and sometimes it's a "bumpy ride." Once we were out of the wash, we could clearly see the imprint of the license plate from the car behind us on our bumper and the other car's license plate was bent underneath his car. The guy driving the car behind us said it felt like his car came off of the track and slammed into us. The employee told us the manager was on the phone and would be out shortly. After waiting at least 15 minutes, we went back to ask where the manager was and were told there was no manager on site, but they would let them know. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Been coming here for a long time now but this last time for some reason my card kept showing inactive or at least that's what she said so she told me if I wanted the wash I need it to pay for it and I said why if I just got charged for the membership and showed her my statement so she let me go after being there quiet some time, and right after I was going to get the tires into the rail this guys comes out of the nowhere and tells me I needed to pay I said no bc I just got charged for the month and I'm Not going to paid again long story short, he made me and the other cars back up so I can get out and leave bc he wanted me to pay again even tho I was showing him proof of the monthly payment. I usually come to this location because it's convenient but I won't be returning. After leaving the car wash yesterday I saw the chrome on the back of my 2020 Honda CR-V is deeply scratched in 3 different places! And it's not fixable. WILL NOT RETURN AFTER THAT. I also paid for the upper car wash and the soap didn't even come out. The dryers do not dry your car, you will have to finish the job yourself. And the vacuums also suck. If you are looking for a cheap and fast way to get your car cleaned, this is my favorite place to go to in Clovis. I always get the express wash and I add on the clip fragrance, amoral cleaning sponge and amoral protective sponge which comes out to about $10 or $12. After I go through the car wash, I drive around the corner and vacuum my car with the self serve vacuums which are complementary. Other things that are complementary are coffee, a mini trashbag, a dashboard wipe, doggy biscuits and lollipops. I enjoy that there are a lot of trashcans within reach of each car which makes it easy for me to clean out my car of the garbage I've accumulated in the past two weeks. My favorite clip fragrance so far is the pina colada. If you are on a budget, this is the best place to get your car washed. I highly recommend this place. read more

I had to go through the car wash THREE TIMES!! The first time I told them hey I have some bugs on my front windshield so if you could please get those the lady was all yeah I'm goona spray them. Went through the second time, still didn't get them. Had to go through a THIRD time and tell the lady at the front who does the tickets to circle it or something. And SHES the ONLYYY reason I gave you guys 2 starts instead of one. She apologized and sprayed then scrubbed it off herself. She was very helpful. First time experience. I went to the self-service drive through to pay and the customer service employee jumped on over to help me (there was no one in her lane). She also gave me a free dash wipe and trash bag for my vehicle. The line to drive through the car wash went fast! Also, not that you have many interactions with the employees who are washing your car initially - but no one seemed grumpy or put out to be there. It makes for a more pleasant experience. I have the Surf Thru Express Membership (Unlimited Washes, Any Location) and this location has been my go to considering it's the most convenient along my routes. I can say without a doubt that the service is exceptional, everyone is friendly even though they're out in the sun most of the day & I've had no problems with the washes. It's quick, it's convenient and it's good, what makes it absolutely better is definitely that low cost membership as compared to other local car washes & since it's unlimited washes it allows my car's interior to stay clean meaning I don't have to worry too much about vacuuming and stressing about how long it takes because as soon as I accidentally leave crumbs or dirt from my shoes, on my way home I stop by real quick, wash, & clean whatever little mess I made before it becomes a bigger problem then stress about how long it takes to clean the interior. Something I'd definitely recommend everyone to have in their car though is a small soft towel for your rear view mirrors and drying off the light water that usually stays on the trunk, (which is normal with car washes). No bueno today. I am a monthly subscriber for the $20 level since January 2018, but sometimes I like to upgrade my wash to include the tire shine and purchase additional items. Today I held up the line because it took three cashiers to give me an upgrade, sell me car air frensher, and mark my windshield "okay for antenna", (which so far only the female attendants do). In the end I was over charged by one dollar. I will be back because I love the service, and the purchase has never been a problem before. Maybe they were new and are still learning the intricacies of the job. By far the best car wash locally. I have the monthly pass and honestly it's the best. You can get all the car washes you want a month so I do a weekly wash and do extras like post odd weather, or when commenting out of town and than when I get back in town to clean it out of travel filth. Beware! My car got STUCK from there machine being old. For a good 5 minutes or more, they admitted this happened before and it was there fault the day it happened but when it came to helping from the damage it did to the bottom of my car they did nothing. They said the boss saw the tape of my car stuck and the couldn't do anything to help in the claim filed. Also didn't give me a refund. My car stopped at one of the rinses when it got stuck so it never dried. There was water spots all over my car and they didn't give me a simple refund. This is one of the worst car washes in Fresno! If I could give it a ZERO I would! They claim to do a pre-cleaning of tires and bugs before the washing but they don't. Mixed feelings here. The people are nice and polite, but it is not set up to wash larger off-road vehicles. I paid for the ultimate wash. They turned the brushes off I'm guessing because of the roof racks, but no one washed the front, hood, top, or back. This was my 1st time washing my car at any drive through car wash and I have to say, I am quite impressed. Even though I was a complete noob, the staff was very friendly and helpful. So, I give the staff a 5 out of 5. Wash quality, I would give it a 4 out of 5. It didn't scrub/wash some of the stucked on goo (bird poop, tree sap, etc), but it managed to get the car clean overall. The vacuum cleaner is very strong. It gets a 5 out of 5. Went in for a car wash and bought the $8 dollar wash. Car came out and still had a ton of stains on vehicle. I talked to the supervisor on shift and they said they won't be able to do anything about it. I said I wasn't satisfy, and the supervisor offer too give me a second wash free. After the second wash, most of the stains came out, but I still wouldn't recommend it, because the customers reps that were on site didn't even bother to ask me if everything was okay after my first wash and I was upset in front of them, until I had to escalate it to the supervisor. read more

This company needs a negative rating. After numerous times trying to "give them a chance" my wife's suv and my truck did not get clean when we went through the wash. The attendant's answer was to have us go through again, once this took three times through and was still not clean!!! The last time I asked for a refund due to not having time to drive in circles all afternoon, I was told that my car "was very dirty' " we are very busy and can't get all the cars clean" and "we don't do refunds". It defeats the purpose of a drive through car wash if I have to go through multiple times and it is still not clean. If I had time to wash the car three times I would have done it at home! I just took my car in for the 4 day rain guarantee policy. Unfortunately, I didn't know that by providing the coupon ticket which I received when I purchased the Ultimate wash wasn't enough proof to show that I washed my car there. The coupon ticket has the date of when I paid and washed my car. Not only that but in the past I have always used the coupon ticket as proof to get the 4 day rain guarantee wash. If you are to keep the original receipt in order to get the 4 day rain wash guarantee it would be nice if the employees make the customers aware of that. I don't even care about not being able to get the wash but the fact that the staff (both cashier and manager - both females) would rather lose a customer forever instead of allowing a one time pass is a disappointment. Not knowing this policy I would have been a happier customer if I was allowed a one time pass because from then on I would now know to keep the original receipt. However, I will now never go to Surf Thru ever again. This is truly sad because I have been going to this place since it opened. You can even look through the history of reviews.
