All the recent reviews are petty and inconsiderate of a business. They use rhetoric about the name "express wash" not being fast but complain they aren't getting their car scrubbed or power washed. You can't have both. Someone said there was a pole missing and a curb that was in a bad blind spot, it seems they've fixed that within the month that review went up. The staff is friendly and helped with offering a monthly plan giving me good information. My car is super clean, I went with the #1 top wash and I'm super happy with my car wash for the price I paid. If people are so upset about a wash talk to store management! Stop posting these 1 star reviews that prove YOU'RE THE PROBLEM!!!! read more

Beware of the car wash entrance. My wife rubbed her front tire on the curb which has been done many times by other customers due to the black curb (see pictures below) large piece of sharp metal sticking out from a cut-off pole ripped her new tire on the side, and went completely flat. reported to the workers stated they would contact management to see what they could do was contacted back by management. They stated that my wife went up on the curb It was her fault and they would not be helping in any way this is completely unacceptable. My pictures clearly show the cement missing from the curb with the sharp protruding metal sticking out you would. The car wash is signed throughout the area. It's located next to a CVS Pharmacy. There is plenty of spots to park your clean your car thoroughly. The prices are on point for its value. Wow, I truly don't get all the hate for this car wash. This location is super convenient and every time I roll through the service is fast and friendly. The grounds here are always clean when I pull in to vacuum my car and who doesn't love the enticing smells coming from their next door neighbor, El Pollo Loco?! This is a 100% a drive-thru & self-serve car wash. Meaning you'll need to wipe down your car, vacuum, and clean the interior. Car washes here run about $15 each visit, but I highly recommend getting the membership. The membership is only $20 a month for unlimited car washes. So I'll pop in here about three to four times a month for a quick hose down. What can I say, it's dusty out here in the Central Valley. Easy access, fair pricing, and free El Pollo Loco smells? I went here yesterday for a wash. Paid for the service and entered via the drive through. Midway through the wash my tire pressure monitor lit up. Pulled in to stall near vacuum bay. Driver side front tire was completely flat. The guard rail had ripped my tire stem off. I filed an incident report and was told that the manager would contact me. Manager never called. I called and they said the report was denied. Said video showed previous damage. Tires are brand new. Four hundred miles of use in town. There is no prior damage. I'm furious! I will not be returning here. I will be seeking compensation for damage to car and replacing my tire. Steer clear of this establishment. They will not be honest with you. Not as good as other carwashes I've been to in the area. -The vacuums weren't as powerful -Prices have gone up -No longer 2 people pre-washing and scrubbing the bugs off bumper/windows, just 1 person that sometimes sprays my car before going in -Now 2 lanes are for members, making me wait even longer before I can get a carwash, for that reason alone, I won't be returning. Customer service was hard to get ahold of. Emailing & calling they never got back until I reached out and left another voicemail along with 3 more emails. Just a heads up that they stand firm on refunding, it has to be a system problem for a refund. No accommodations whatsoever, pretty disappointing but will never spend money there again. PROS : They are always fast and efficient. I love their condiments like their free air refresher, wipes and bags. CONS : There's a time that I notice my car didnt get tire shine. Tire shine was included in my package. After a few times, my tire didnt get the treatment so I finally ask if they change the package. The lady that I talk to, she check my account and someone turn off tire shine on my account. I was a bit upset for their mistakes. Other than that I still think they deserve a 5 star. This is just a basic car wash. I've done every level and they basically all end up with the same outcome despite the difference in price. My main issue is the fact that they have two lines for members that are hardly used , while non members have to wait in a single line and wait for a person to manually take a card and charge them. Just seems impractical to not open up all 3 lines on days where the traffic is slow but especially on days where it's busy! I understand that being a member has its perks but when you're waiting in one line for 20 minutes and someone just gets to pull up and go, it gets frustrating. I'll be heading to red carpet from now on where they actually scrub your car before you enter. Hopefully Surf Thru will actually listen to the consistent complaints that all these reviewers leave. read more

I keep hoping another car wash will open up close to us so I can stop going to surf thru! I went today, my car was very dirty from the rain, I couldn't see out my back window except where the windshield wiper had run. And after I went through Surf thru? Still looked the same! Still couldn't see through the back windshield! They don't scrub your car anymore because they spray it instead which does nothing! When you first go through the very first "scrubber" on the right just spins, it doesn't move nor does it even come close to your car! It is unfortunate I am not able to give a 5 star review. I have been coming to this car wash location with four different vehicles at least twice a month, sometimes I'm here weekly. I have never had problems until last week, I took one of my vehicles through that has no pre-existing damage & after driving through I found that the key cover on the driver door handle was ripped off by the washing equipment in Surf thru car wash. When I submitted a claim for the damage it was declined . Their statement was " your claim has been declined due to pre-exciting damage" I know when I paid and entered the car wash there was no pre-exciting damage and they would find that true if they were to review footage at the pay station. Their suggestion to us the customer was to file a claim with our insurance, sure just push us off that's their solution. The worst part was they at the cooperate office who review the claim are not even the ones to contact the customer they make the manager of the location be the messenger. I will never return to this location or any Surf thru car wash. The discourtesy I got from them in regards to my claim is uncalled for. Enter this car wash or any surf thru express car wash at your own risk. Please note before writing this review i have cooperate 48 hours to reply to a contact msg i sent through their website. Our first run through they forgot to power wash the top of our vehicle because we didn't want our ski racks damages, but they were able to let us through again and power washed it the second time with no problem, really appreciated this customer service! Paid $18 for "Epic Wash". It was anything but. Guy "sprayed" stuff on car before I went through. No brushing of any kind. Car came out looking like someone sprayed it with a yard hose. No dirt came off. It looked awful. Epic Wash comes with tire and wheel cleaning....allegedly. Wheels were still dirty and tires looked like nothing had been put on them. I had limited time yesterday with a busy schedule, so I stopped by for a wash of my truck. New payment system in place, so had to wait for attendant. She wasn't friendly, the cheapest wash was $11 and when I finally got to my final stop I noticed bird crap and soap residue on the entire surface of my truck. I waited in line, in the cashier line. The worker was masked and kind. SamHunt is dirty! I paid for the #3 and also bought a cinnamon apple air freshener for $1. I went around and a worker directed me and went through and got cleaned while also wiping up the inside dusty. I went out and around and had to wait for a vacuum parking stall. This car wash was amazing a year ago but now the machine is often broken and for some reason they stopped scrubbing our cars when it's broken. My car had so much buildup on the rooftop that it had to get some special treatment at the next place. If you own an SUV with a spare tire carrier....I have a Jeep Wrangler.... Do not go here. They will not clean your vehicle. I have been a customer since the day they opened and in the last couple months, they have programmed the wash so none of the brushes touch my vehicle. I asked a couple times and they let the brushes work, but I was told by the manager that SUV's with spare tire carriers will not get a complete wash because they damage their equipment. I spoke to two there membership wash companies in town and both said they do not have that policy. I asked how I was going to get my Jeep washed at surf thru and was told by someone who claimed they were the manager that I probably would not. I said "I've been paying $29.99 month for several years and now they won't clean my vehicle?" He said..."Not any more". On another note.....their tire shine equipment hasn't worked for a while...don't pay extra for it. Wow...just wow. Avoid this place if you have a full size SUV. Absolute crap. I've managed a mediocre express car wash, Quicky on Los Osos Valley Road, and this Surf Thru location suffers very similar issues. 1995, GMC Tahoe 1500, stock Ultimate Wash, $14.00 1. Tire Shine is not working or not maintained 2. Dryer is weak 3. Vacuum nozzle severely plugged. 4. Vacuum suction over all is very weak. Possibly past due to clean out the main filters. I politely let the attendant know what happened. I simply will submit this review, and not return. There are several other Expess Car Washes in this area. read more

Just left surf through car wash in Clovis and it literally looks like I stayed home and sprayed my car with a water hose and didn't dry it. The vacuums aren't working but they neglected to tell all of the people that drove through and paid their money. When I walked up to somebody and told them the situation they said oh I know! Had 3 car wash memberships. Production car, for convenience to get your car wash quickly, thats the only reliable thing. Had my Mercedes membership for the longest. Had the platinum wash, down graded to the epic wash. Their wheel brushes scratches your vehicle. Just downgraded and didn't complain, just took cared of it myself, polished it, still visible surface scratches. Lived with it. Other vehicle is the kids pup pup, no big deal, it washed the vehicle good enough. Biggest mistake, added my brand new truck to the memberships. Literally my first wash was at surfthru, however I noticed some nicks on wheel moldings, no big deal. I can live with that, through span of 3 months. My last wash was very disappointing, scratched the heck out of all my wheel moldings. Truck is too new to look rough up. File claim damage at night with a supervisor when it was in the evening (dark), not sure his photos would show it, so he told me to come back in the morning to show the manager zee, took time to stop in the morning. Got there, another assist me, told him i was here to see the manager zee, the supervisor went back for about 10mins, came back and the supervisor informed me since the damage claim is already done, theirs not a need for the manager. Even after I asked for him by name. The manager zee didn't come out to address anything. So i left, since it was not convenient for the manager. waited 2 weeks and didn't hear back from anyone. So I followed up with online inquiry, amazing i the manager zee called same day and told me my damage claim is being denied. Said there's no way his brushes damages vehicle, didn't know he was a damage expert? Made an another inquiry online, no one ever reached out to me in regards. Shows how much they value their customers. Seems like, they only want your money. Bottom line cancelled all 3 of my memberships(member since 2015). To their manager zee who is the face of the company, its not just about talking to customers when everything is ok, asking how the wash is. It's also about taking care of your customers concerns professionally when theres an issue and working with them to resolve it. Should have at least ask to bring my vehicle back to address it in person before making his determination base off photos taken at night. Good luck to the ppl who still take their vehicles there. I've posted some pictures, keep in mind, I've only driven it to work and back. Trucks never even made it to the mountains or will it ever see off road action. I don't like giving one stars.
