They have different locations spread out through the area. I happen to be in the area doing errands so I went to chose this one. There was no line thank goodness last time I was there there was a line I was in and out. They have plenty of spaces for you to park want to fully clean your car with in detail. I've been coming here as a member for about 2 months. I've gotten probably like 20-30 car washes probably, since I go a lot. I pay 21.99 for the epic. It's a decent car wash, comes with many vacuums, they give trash bags and dash wipes when requested. They have someone standing to pre-rinse your car, and I just wish they would do the right side of my car at some point, since they always stand on the left side. Overall, decent car wash, decent staff, decent amenities, kinda pricey but it's dusty in Clovis! read more

This is the worst Surf Thru I've been to. The entire area is under construction and the layout is completely unclear, especially when you're trying to exit after the wash. They used to have two people pre-washing your car which really covered well. Now they have one so only the left side of my car gets pre-washed and the right side is on its own I guess. They've also had some nozzles on one of the rent stations not working right in the middle of the car to rinse off the soap after it's washed. It's been like that for two months now. I always had good fast service at Surf Thru until today and currently a member for one of my two vehicles. It was my second vehicle needing a monthly wash that I waited for nearly 25 minutes to get through 4 cars ahead of me. There were no equipment malfunctions, no wayward drivers doing something stupid. Just the employee hard selling memberships to the cars in front of me. The self-pay line? Is gone. When I asked the employee what happened to the self pay line? "It's our new system" he said. Well, your new system sucks and there is far too much competition in this town to wait 25 minutes again, so I won't be back with my second vehicle and if this is the way members are going to be treated, won't renew my membership on the other vehicle when it's time either. I don't know what happen to this place. But, my recent visit to get my car wash wasn't something I was expecting. I paid for a #1 and as I went thru the car wash I got to the end and it said I received #4 express. That wasn't what I paid for so I told the girl and she told her manager royanna. The manager told her to tell me I can get a rewash. When I got to the front and check in with the manager royanna she said yeah go ahead I can get the rewash and drive thru. During that time the girl switch off with this guy mason who is now at the tunnel wasing area directing the cars and pressure washing. When It was my turn I waited for him to stop spraying and roll my window down and when I got his attention. As I was telling him this is a rewash can you pressure wash the front and get all the debris off he said what? and I try explaining again this is a rewash and he said what? so I said a little louder then he spray the pressure washer in my face and into my interior. I told him to stop this machine and he started laughing and said you wanted a pressure wash right your getting it. as I got to the end of the car wash I pull up to the front. as I was walking toward him his manager royanna was already walking toward him and gave me a smirk. I ask mason why did he spray me in the face. he said sorry man you had the windows down and laugh. Royanna had him walk some where. As I was explaining to Royanna what mason did she said we need to wait for him to come back and so I can file a complaint. As mason was walking back he was laughing and smiling at the situation when whenever he glance his eyes at me when he was walking back toward us. As he walk by me he was mumbling something. I ask him what you said? he then proceed to grab the pressure washer and did a little spray and then started to mug me and next he started staring me down. Then royanna directed me to file the complaint. I ask to speak to the owner of this place she told me he will call me. I didn't get my refund my car was still dirty, she told me to ask that when the owner calls me. read more

BE CAUTIOUS DOING BUSINESS HERE: I had fishing line with some type of weighted end get wrapped up in the grill of my car from some point in the wash tunnel. It cracked the plastic pattern and the line cut into the bumper & headlight. I noticed it as it happened, informing the staff after I exited the wash tunnel with the fishing line still embedded into the plastics. (They) removed the line, claiming I would receive a call in a few days about the ordeal. No call was received, I returned 1 week later to speak with management and their response was: " there is no undeniable evidence from our cameras that our wash station was the cause of your vehicle damage and there is nothing we will do in this event to fix the damage". I have been a customer for years, this is terrible way to treat your customers. read more

Went around 6:30pm and I was the only car pulling up and only car going through the car wash. I paid for the Extreme service. I was only offered a dash wipe. I had to ask for the bag. I also got the complimentary air freshener called black diamond which is probably the best scent. There was only one person working the car wash and she didn't pre scrub the car like they usually do. I would understand if there were a ton of cars but I was literally the only one. It was dark and late so I didn't utilize the self service vacuum but will have to next time. read more

Been to this location a few times but apparently never left a review. Like the Herndon location, don't expect a great wash. Vacuums are worth the price of admission. Unlike the Herndon location the cycle is shorter leaving the wash subpar. Vacuums don't suck... I mean they "suck" because it wasn't very powerful. Low expectations help as they met them. read more

COVID phase: SamHunt is dirty! Lol! Came here to clean him up. Waited in line to pay at the cashier stand. The worker was very kind and gave me a garbage bag and dash wipe. I drove around and the masked workers scrubbed away before going in the car wash. Went through and out where you go to the vacuum area. Cleaned the inside with the dash wipe and vacuumed the inside and he's shiny and clean. Just a little process to get to the wash express. You have to go around the hotel to get to it, but still cleans good! Good service and wash! Recommended! read more

Stuck inside the wash with no one telling me what was wrong. Took video of the whole encounter. No one even stopped cars from buying washes for 20 minutes behind me. Had to back out of the wash that had started to dry brush the side of my car because water wasn't spraying and potentially damaged my rims from backing up over multiple stuck rollers and guide rails. Girl running the register had no idea what to do and isn't sure if the refund on my card went through. Will have to check later. Had issues the last time I was here to with the brushes and sprays no working on the right side of my 4runner leaving that side dirty but at the time I didn't have time to deal with it. We frequent Surf Thru. Everything about this place is pretty steadily average. Service is good. Speed is good to great (just depends on how big the line is when you get there). Price is good. Nothing is really 5 stars, in my opinion- this place just gets the job done! Every few times or so, I will get really bad service or a bad wash, usually if you get a bad wash you can turn right back around and ask them to re wash it and they will- so points for this! (I've asked for a re-wash when the cars and the washes get mixed up and I paid for an Ultimate wash, yet I went through and received an Express...I have also done this when there are visible bubbles all over my car, because the rinse stopped too soon. So that is good.) As well, every few times or so, I will get super LUCKY and I will pay for an express and receive an Ultimate- SCORE. Those little surprises, while unfortunate for the person who paid, I take them as a win. But from a business stand point, if the customer calls one of your mistakes a win for them...does that really make you an excellent business? They have many different membership options. You can just pay for a wash- between $8 and $14 dollars. You can get a monthly plan- which depending on what you can pay can get you a set amount of washes or unlimited amounts. The price also goes up depending on the type of wash you want. There are also pre-paid cards (great gift option btw!) that you buy 4 washes and get one free. We usually just pay for the washes or we will buy the prepaid card-both seem to work. If you have never done the membership for unlimited washes- They do a deal for $14.99 for the first month for new customers. I forget what it goes up to after that. They have this policy if it rains within 4 days of your wash they will re-wash your car. I don't think its advertised well. However, it is true, and they will do this- unless you got an Express wash. So keep that in mind. That screwed me over a few weeks ago when we had that weird summer rain. So, you've been warned! Reason being is I brought my car thru on the one located on Ashlan near first street. I have a monthly membership for car washes with them. I have a stable Ford Edge 2013 and keep it up for my wife to maintain mechanical use and cleanliness. The car wash blew off the front grill portion that snaps on. It went under my car car and broke it. I filed with the business for replacement and they denied my claim with no explanation . I called to appeal and spoke with a lady and she never got back to me. First time going to Surf Thru Express Car Wash and loved it. Went for the $8 express wash. Nothing fancy. It got the job done in a quick amount of time. My 7 month son enjoyed the entire process which made me happy. Having the self serve vacuum and air made our experience even better. However, I did notice the brushes did not remove some of the old tire shine residue on the body. No biggie, I always carry micro fiber clothes and ended up wiping away some excess water and the old tire shine markings. Before today, I was going to the $1 car wash but end up spending about 5 bucks plus it gets exhausting and it gets you dirty. Then I have to pay more to use the vacuum totaling up to about $8 or more. The entire process is timed so I always feel rushed. Coming here, it made me feel relaxed and it's quick plus I get one errand out of the way in a smooth manner.
